      Just because nopony has liked before doesn't mean someone won't in the future and versa and 4th graders date nowadays (I know it's hilarious) so really. Plus they don't stay with that person for a while almost all middle-school to high school relationships don't last. Plus trust me most of the time being in a relationship is overrated.
