@@Professor Annabella, Thanks for the compliment on my OC, I have not seen Full Metal Alchemist but I have heard a lot of people singing its praises. --- OC story --- Prior to the war, Melke had been studying alchemy from Zecora in the EverFree Forest and he has seemingly inherited her skill in alchemy. Through his advancement in his skill, he is able to temporarily use some of his original powers he had back in his home world. When the war started, Zecora had left her home to support Equestria but Melke said behind in the EverFree Forest and took a neutral stand to the war and helped only the wounded that he came across while looking and stockpiling alchemy ingredients. He did not care much about the conflict as, to him, it was not a war that he should take part in. However, that changed when the machines were introduced to the war, Melke started facing problems in taking the neutral stand. The Buggers attacked him and wounded Melke very badly, forcing him above ground where Melke encountered his first Enforcer. Melke got shot and also smacked around badly, and he was forced to use his magic against the robots. He implanted a powerful spirit into a nearby tree and that distracted the enforcer while Melke made a run for it. After many days of more close calls and injuries, surviving thanks to his stock of brews and savaging weaponry from junk and also using his senses, Melke got a visit from Syo. She wanted to bring Melke out of the Equestria Dimension after finding out what had happened but Melke had seen enough to know that he cannot run from this fight as he owed these ponies for his better life. But Melke knew that he have to get better weaponry and he knows that Syo could do something about it. Syo left for a moment but Melke had to seek shelter as he encountered his first Hawk. Melke was close to death when Syo came back with his weapon. Syo teleported the Hawk away but it was a bad move as now the robots know about them. Syo made her exchange quick with Melke as it would not be long until more robots show up. She handed him a shield and then opened him a portal to a safer place. Syo wished him luck before leaving as well, back to her home world. --- I hope that is okay. Syo is a dimension jumper and the one who brought Melke to Equestria in the first place. The shield is a mystical weapon that requires magic to function and it can transform into a bow for offense. The portal Melke entered can bring him to the rp location as its destination is random.

I added a new character in my list, I guess I can join another group too.

This RP seems interesting. I would love to join. However, my OC (link in my signature) is not a pony or any canon race. Is that going to be an issue? Edit: I just added a new character, I am referring to Melke previously.

@, "Thanks, Ru-." Melke stared at the provisions he brought out and saw that it was mostly vegetables, for equines. He sighed as he saw it and was a little hesitant in saying anything. "Erm... I can't eat what you ponies usually eat... I am a cat after all." Melke tried to say but was very soft.

@, "Well, I guess... the cat's outta the bag..." Melke mumbled to himself as he took back his mask. He inspected it first, surprised that it was as good as new. He then closed his eyes and the mask on his face evaporated into a dark mist before disappearing and then he placed his mask back on and put his ears through the straps. "I guess... I should start with my name, I am not sure what do you want to know about me... My name's Melke." Melke bowed his head a little as he introduced himself and then his stomach decided to growl. Melke started to blush behind the mask. "Oh my.. how embarrassing" "So sorry about that, I haven't eaten since this morning..."

@, "What is there to know about me? I am just a cat, living in the forest." Melke replied quietly as he looked at the pony fixing his mask using magic. Interested to learn more about the magic in this world, he kept staring at the mask as it is getting mended. "Can.. I have my mask back soon...? I am getting tired..."

This RP looks like fun. Do you think my OC can fit into this rp? It is not exactly a canon or even pony oc.

@, Melke hesitated for a while, his sobs softening. Then there was a dark flash, a vibe of dark magic, and then Melke slowly turned around with a new mask on all of a sudden. "If... you could fix it, it would be nice..." Melke said softly, barely audible behind his new mask. From the voice, it is clear that he was a little worn out from what he did.

I don't know what happened but I am left hanging for a reply to progress.

I feel a little funny asking but if you want a challenge, you can try and draw my OC which is not a pony.

@, Melke finally took notice of the pony and looked up, only to see the pony towering over him. His silent sobs suddenly turned into a big outpour of wails as he tried to shield his face and eventually ended up facing away from him, as if he does not want to show his face to anyone. "... I... I'm sorry for spying... Please don't hurt me..."

I might be too busy to rp tomorrow as I have a few project deadlines to meet.

@, Melke looked up and he could barely made out the pony outline, he tried to get his mask back on but it broke into two. Melke started to tear up as he saw it break. Melke did not look up at the pony and just silently sobbed to himself. Melke's necklace started to glow as it felt a strong magical signature coming from the pony but Melke did not notice the dark glow of his gem.

@, Melke kept on running for a bit more before finally turning his head to check if the wolf is still after him. Huh? It stopped chasing me alread- SMACK! Melke ran into a low hanging branch and it knocked him by the head and he fell head over heels backward until he stopped by a tree. He sat up though dizzy, he started to inspect the damage. Ow... That really hurt. And I am starving... but I am so dizzy to even move... My mask... it cracked. Melke took off his mask and then opened his bag, placing the mask back in and taking out some herbs to eat. The herbs helped to stem the pain and but he can't get up yet as he was still dizzy.

@, Melke peeked out from among the leaves he hid in and look at the new pony. He first inspected the pony at the bottom of the tree then stared at the food he had. Well, I guess there is always that one pony who would come these woods. Those runes... I can't tell what they mean but I can feel their magical signature. I wonder what is he doing here? I guess I best go and look for more berries later, I haven't eaten yet and most of the food that these ponies eat are not fitting to my taste, though I would say that they sure know how to make things look tasty. Melke decided that he had enough of looking at the pony and decided to go before he gets spotted. As he hopped to another tree, he slipped and fell. He landed on something and when he look up, he met eye to eye with a large wooden wolf. "Ah..haha..nya..... hello? How are nya doing?" Melke stammered nervously. The wolf growl and snarled at Melke before trying to pounce on him to eat him. Melke sprinted past the tree he was at and past the pony, going deeper into the forest with the wolf hot on his tail.

@, Melke wandered about the woods for a little while longer and was taking some time to inspect some of the plants. He does not really know the names and their purpose but he is recording it down for later. As he was messing around with the plants, his ears perked up as he heard someone approaching. Oh no! Who is it? A pony? I don't think that is possible, Zecora told me that no pony comes into these woods. Those weird wolves? Why am I debating?! I better hide. Melke pulled out a white mask from his make-shift bag and put it over his face. He then jumped up and climbed a nearby tree and then hid among the branches, waiting for whoever it is to pass by.

"Nyaa~" Melke yawned as he awoke from his nap, stretching his mouth open and exposing some sharp fangs. He then remembered where he was: on a branch of a tall tree. After a bit of stretching and warming up, he leapt from branch to branch and then landed gracefully on all fours. He looked around and listened carefully for any forms of movement and then started to walk among the leaves, deeper into the forest. Hm... I guess I best start heading back to Zecora's, time got away from me as I watched that lively town nearby. I rather not draw unwanted attention to myself. The last time a pony saw me... they thought I was some pony's lost cat or something. He then stopped for a bit and then took a glance at a black gemstone that hung around his neck. It was as dark as ever and glistening with a dark shine. The cat sighed as he looked at it and then continued on his way. Just as dark as ever, if I don't find a way to unleash this built up taint from my gem, there is not telling what might happen if my power goes out of control. This... Equestria really lacks in the ambient magic that I need to help purify it, their magic seems to be self contained instead. *sigh* There is another way... I would normally try not to do any reckless negative spells but if things get desperate, I might have to make an exception.

@@Blitz Boom Erm, I am actually unsure on how to get started in the RP. Where do I start from for a first post?

@@Blitz Boom There is something I think I have to clarify about my character before I hop in. My OC has magic and I need to know if my balance I did to my character's power is good enough. My OC's magical logic is different from MLP's and it uses spiritual energy as compared to theory study and charging up magical power to unleash a spell. So everytime he uses it, he will feel fatigued. I limited my OC's power to basic conjuration; creating things that are inanimate and are smaller and lighter than he is and he has to sustain it or it will disappear. Is this good enough? I will not go into how is my OC's power is originally like as it is definitely over-powered for MLP's standard. I have an alternative set in which my OC has no magical power on his own and but he possess a magical gem (other magical beings can tap into its power to power up themselves, but with a cost). I will start posting once I get your confirmation. (probably around a time that is suitable for me in RL)

Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I do not mind you asking more about my character as I have expected it to happen as it is my original species after all. I have a lot of info in my OC RP story but sure I am willing to answer any and all queries you may have. As for the timeline, I would like more information and how I can start to catch up.
