      If you are going to pitch an idea for a cartoon to an animation studio, don't be in a rush to pitch your magnum opus. The studios want to own the rights to it. There are many creators who didn't get to keep the rights to their shows after leaving the studio. So be aware of what you agree to, but don't ruin your relationship with studio before you begin.
