    Got our first dusting of snow here at Hillsdale right now; it's actually beginning to feel a lot like Christmas right now. Simply beautiful outside.

      We won't see any snow until late January or early February assuming we have a normal winter. The past few days have been green and wet.

      Yuck... I feel ya though. Last winter was way too mild for Michigan; kinda glad I was in D.C. for most of it, it would have just been too weird being in Michigan with such a mild winter!

      Two years ago and the year before that we had lots of snow in December and throughout January. It would have been average or mild to any state that was prepared for it, but things seemed more harsh to us because we have almost no provisions for winter weather.

       

      Snow is beautiful. Hopefully we have another unusually harsh winter this time. I even enjoy having to shovel it from the driveway.
