For me that was the horrible, manipulative girlfriend I had, which I almost married!!! XD

Once she was out of my life my anxiety problems went away and so did my self-degradation.

Also I had those problems before I met her, but they just propelled to higher lengths when I was with her

You are lucky then. For me, anxiety and self hatred has been a worsening problem over the years and my boyfriend actually one of the only reasons depression hasn't killed me yet, honestly. Everyone has their ways of getting through I suppose. Anxiety sucks.
