Why is this section so empty? Am I imagining it or can I only see things I am a member of?

Coding is something I would like to get more into. I know JavaScript, the basics of HTML and some miscellaneous languages including one for programming LEGO Mindstorms better than the packaged WYSIWYG software. And itronTFT. But yeah, looking to get more into it

@@DarkHaert, Galena smiled back and shook his paw with her hoof. "Nice to meet ya, Segundo. I'm Galena. Engineer and Coffee Enthusiast. I have to say, I like the hat a lot. I take it you are a wizard or something?" Galena was still carrying a saddle bag with some of her tools in because she only just got off work before the movie.

"So what kind of superhero do you think you would be, Galena?" The green unicorn smiled in response and thought a bit. "I'd like to think I could invent my powers through sweat and labour rather than just be lucky and get exposed to the right kind of magic fallout. Probably have like a gadget suit with concealed devices or something" she turned back to her two friends as they walked out of the cinema house. "What about you guys?" She continued walking and conversing with her friends: a brown Earth stallion and a female Griffin. "I'd like super strength, maybe Saddle Rager style. Just seems cool" answered the stallion. "My alter ego would probably be a stealth and sneaky type, rather than plain fighting" said the Griffin "Yeah I could see that," said Galena. "Well, here is the station, so I guess I'll see you guys later. This was fun! We should do it again sometime" Her compatriots said goodbye and she continued into the station and waited for the train to the other side of town.

Sigma picked up a bowl and spooned a load of noodles into it. He tossed some soy sauce on it and sat down across from Lightning. He noticed how hungrily and quickly Lightning ate his meal. How is he that hungry? First the backpack, now this. Maybe Lightning did come from an impoverished background. Seems odd. Why would the hotel invite a low-life like... Wait. 'Low-life?' He stopped his train of thought. Despite the days of division being more than a millennium gone, Sigma found many of the unicorns of Canterlot that frowned on and looked down on ponies of other kinds, especially lower-class ones. Dispute his best efforts, Sigma had ended up picking up some of these attitudes, and he hoped that this didn't mean others would see him as stuck-up. He looked up and cleared his throat "someone seems hungry" he said to Lightning.

@,@@Mentis Soliloquy, @@FullMetalDash, "I'm right behind you." Sigma followed on behind Diva. He had already had a quick glance at the menu earlier but still wasn't sure what he wanted. Maybe he would wait to see what the others had and follow suit. He sniffed the air a few times as he entered the dining hall. "can anypony else smell peanuts?" (OOC: there are peanut butter noodles available)

@@FullMetalDash, Sigma raised an eyebrow but smiled at Dust teasing him. He then shrugged it off. @, @@Dapper Charmer, "I guess we go to dinner now. Those two ... " he nodded his head towards Mist and Diva "... look only too happy to have dinner 'together' ". He used his magic to summon two magic hologram quotation marks when he said the word 'together'. He called out to them as they approached. "I take it you two enjoyed the slopes too?"

@@FullMetalDash, Sigma briefly saw somepony out of the corner of his eye but Dust made eye contact with him before he could look properly. (OOC: it was @@Colenso Rivers,) He looked and smiled back at her. "Yeah, don't worry. I'll catch you" He thought to himself that he would probably be the main catcher if ponies did fall, as he had levitation.

@@Mentis Soliloquy, @, "Uh... yes. Food. And dinnertime. Uh, I would love to hit the slopes sometime. Don't mean to brag, but I'm not bad myself. certainly no black run, but good." he spotted Diva and Mist outside. "Here comes the happy couple" "Hey, did you guys see another Unicorn go by here a while ago?"

@@Mentis Soliloquy, "Yeah, you're probably right" @, Sigma saw a white figure heading towards the door. He quickly levitated the items back into the bag and put the bag back where he found it. When the figure entered the room, he saw that it was Lightning. He walked over to him and greeted him in a we-didn't-just-go-through-your-things way. "I take it you were just on the slopes? Enjoy it?"

@@Mentis Soliloquy, @@FullMetalDash, "Yeah, maybe they belonged to this chap." he pulled out a torn picture of a youngish stallion with a large dark brown mane and deep deep blue eyes. (OOC:It was Lightning's brother) He looked at it and tilted his head. "does he look like a boxer? Poor chap looks down on his luck" Down on his luck? Who says that anymore he thought. He took the HayPod and the headphones. “these don’t look great either.” He remarked. He tried to use his telekenesis to see if he could get the devices to work but they ended up making a high pitch screech.

@@FullMetalDash, @@Mentis Soliloquy, Sigma considered this. He really wanted to see what was in it but he didn't want to be nosy. Although... Lightning didn't seem like he wanted it hidden if he put it here. If it was really secret he would have left it at home surely. or his room. (or ya know, left in a hurry to ski or something and forgot). Also, Sigma didn't want to seem unadventurous to these ponies. He had already tried to decline a game of spin the bottle and he wanted them to see he could take some risks. "I guess that looking at one thing from the bag wouldn't hurt anyone" and he levitated out... Boxing gloves?!

@@Mentis Soliloquy, "yeah, I think it is. I'm guessing that must be his bag too." he walked towards it and levitated it up. "It looks like its falling apart. Odd. Lightning didn't exactly strike me as someone who came from a poor background." His curiosity itched, but he knew he should probably leave Lightnings property alone. He didn't notice Lightning's HayPod falling out of one of the holes. He looked to Dust and Mentis. "Should I open it?"

@@Mentis Soliloquy, Sigma walked along with them back into the lobby. He wondered a similar thing to Dust. He had lived in roughly the same part of Canterlot all his life, so moving to a completely new place must have been hard, especially given that he moved to a city where the main pony type isn’t yours. In his mind he wondered if he himself would be comfortable living in an Earth Pony area. Appleoosa maybe. Yet there he was. In the company of a several Pegasi and a Bat-pony. There was a window in the lobby and he saw a grey dot and a blue dot some way down the hill. Probably Diva and Mist out for a ski. He wouldn’t mind trying it in a while. He also noticed that there was a lonely bag with a skateboard lying near reception. While still trying to listen to Mentis’ response, he stared at the bag curiously.

Good thing this strange holiday is all inclusive" That was Sigmas default way of escaping awkward conversations. Talk about something else entirely. Darn you curiosity. She winked at me. he thought. And while talking about having fun together?... He hoped that she didn't misinterpret his kiss in Spin-the-bottle. Well, he did come here for fun but he would rather just have friends, at least at first. (ooc: you guys can decide where next)

@@FullMetalDash, Sigma gave a pained expression when Dust looked at him. His better judgement told him not to ask her anymore about her past but his strong curiosity made it hard. @@Mentis Soliloquy, "Yeah, you're right. I come from Canterlot myself and, impressive as it is, can get a bit dull." They entered a dining hall that was much darker than the reception. The walls were lined with portraits, presumably of VIP guests from older times. The left wall had a collection of suits of pony armour, like that of the Royal Guard and a what seemed to be a replica of Commander Hurricane's armor

In a complete coincidence of narrative, the on-site dinner venue was where Sigma, Dust and Mentis were headed. @@Mentis Soliloquy, @@FullMetalDash, While they were walking towards the hall, Sigma tried to start some polite conversation with the other ponies. "So, where did you guys come from then?" (OOC: edit: I thought this would post after Dapper's last post regarding dinner. Oh well)

@@FullMetalDash,@@Mentis Soliloquy, "Okay bye then" said Sigma locking the door to the room and tossing it to Mist. The group of him, Dust and Mentis headed to the lobby, the Pegasi flying the way with Sigma galloping behind them, slightly jealously. Once they were in the lobby, Sigma saw a sign that said Dining Hall and suggested "let's go here"

@, (OOC: StandardDeviationBrony?! LOL, I...I guess that works. Just makes me sound even nerdier) "Alright, see you later Diva." Sigma trotted over to the door with a lemonade class still in his telekinesis field... thing. @@Mentis Soliloquy, He shrugged. "Just start at the lobby and see where we can go." @, "Lightning, you staying or what?"
