    In my honest opinion, reddit and twitter are the worst social sites. I only use reddit for memes and looking up communities within my interests (ebikes, mlp), but there's a lot of low-life people and garbage human beings on there. Twitter is just a dumpster fire at this point and I only use it to request commissions from my favorite artists lol.

     

    Then there's youtube comment sections and tiktok...

      I don't think Reddit is bad, only some sections of it are incredibly toxic (but then even MLPforums had in its history plenty of toxic people raining doom on otherwise friendly atmosphere).

      I am member (well, more of a lurker) in some interest groups on reddit and honestly enjoy the atmosphere there.

      I definitely agree on Twitter though, even things, where my reddit communities reacted positively to where met with heavy and pointless backlash on Twitter.

      though the blatant transphobia on a lot of places isn't fun
