So, how are my cuddly pony friends doing today?  ^w^ 

 Well, today is the first day of spring here in Australia.  ohh man, I'm so happy we're out of the cold. the next couple of months is gonna be pretty interesting.  my birthday is coming up. we're gonna go to a fancy Italian Restuarant. Unfortunately, it'll be just me, my mum and my dad because my uncle, my auntie and my cousin have got COVID. oh well. it is what is. Well, at least I get to go out and celebrate my birthday.  (last year we were in lock-down and I had to buy KFC as a substitute.) so yeah, I'm pretty excited bout that and I'm looking forward to it.  I hope the next couple of months is gonna be nice and sunny. I'm sick all of the rain we've got since november last year. 

near the end of this month, you've got the brand new MLP G5 series. tbh, I'm not really looking forward to it. I'll obviously take a look at it, but I'm not really excited bout it. they still havent really answered any of the questions bout the events between FIM and gen 5. So, what are my thoughts on the youtube series? it's alright. I kinda wish that was our introduction to the series instead of the first 12 - 20 mins of the movie where every-pony was racist towards each-other. I noticed there's a lot of people who didnt like the make your mark special. honestly, I thought it was better than the movie we got last year. as you can already tell from my profile pic, my favourite is Zipp Storm.

in October, you've got the Bathurst 1000, which is the biggest race of the year... (yeah, I cant wait for that.)  ...and then, you've got the Haslab. this year, they are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the ghost rider. I really hope it's a bike or a horse, and not that hell charger that everyone has been talking bout. but yeah, I'm really curious to see what it is. 

...and I dunno bout you, but I cant wait for halloween. if you're not into trick-or-treating, Pony Town, Ashes Town and Legends Of Equestria has got you covered.  

last month, we placed an order for a Toyota Yaris ZR Hybrid and it should arrive in April. that's not too bad. originally, they said it was gonna be a 12 - 15 month wait for a toyota yaris. according to this article, which was posted on the 18th of august, we only have to wait approximately 248 days (we've placed an order for one on the 21st).

...and last but not least, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is coming out on the 18th of november. okay, remember when I said that I was gonna pick Fuecoco as my starter?

well...if you havent been keeping up with the leaks / rumours, they say Sprigatito will evolve into a bi-pedal, "waifu-like", necromancer / magician that 'empowers itself with dark spirits', quaxly will evolve into a dancer, not a pirate or a sailor, which was something that a lot of people were speculating that it would evolve into, and fuecoco will evolve into a red alligator that stands on all fours, and it'll have a chicken on its head. they say it'll be on fire, kinda like a phoenix. based on all the info we have for the final evolution of the starters, I'd say Sprigatito would have to be my favourite. to me, that thing is gonna evolve into a more darker / edgier version of Delphox. of course, these are just leaks / rumours, so take it with a grain of salt. but yeah, I'm not gonna make my final decision til they give us the final evolution of the starters.  

Ohh man, I'm SO f*cking happy that I managed to pre-order three of these: 

yeah, this figure sent me on a wild goose chase. as soon as it popped up on their site, I went to my local EB games to place a pre-order for it, but for some reason, it wouldnt accept my $30 deposit. yeah, I just assumed that it wasn't up on the system...yet. (I came in, like, an hour after they posted it on their site. so yeah, I was SUPER early ) So I decided to wait for a few days so they can get their act together and I dropped into my local Zing Pop Culture and...they were able to accept my $30 deposit. I'm just glad that I got this out of the way.  it'll be coming out in december. so yeah, this'll be my christmas present. ohh man, I cant wait!!!

okay, I dunno if any of you guys collect figurines, but have you noticed that some of the figures dont have any plastic to protect the figure?  I am a collector, and I've watched a couple of videos bout this, and they say that hasbro wants to minimize the use of plastic with their packaging, but there's a huge problem with this: 

1. the figure is more likely to get damaged. when parents are shifting through the various toys on the shelf and if it just so happens to drop on the floor, well, there's no protection.

2. kids can just easily rip it out of the box. this was something that a number of collectors pointed out and I didnt think bout this...until now, and that is a major problem. young children can easily get away with this cuz they dont know any better and of course, the retailer wants to try to minimise theft as much as possible.

Some people say enclosed packaging is the solution if they want to reduce the amount of plastic while still appealing to collectors. well, you do have their ups and downs

+ because it is enclosed, it offers a lot more protection than your typical open window packaging

- you cant see the defects on a figure. I get it. not every figure is gonna be perfect, but most collectors want to try to find the one with the least amount of defects.

- because it is enclosed, you wont be able to see the figure inside. for the average in-box collector, they'll definitely be turned off by this.

the first time I saw this at my local retailer was with the latest transformers figures...and some of the playmates, but now, I see it's starting to become a thing. look, I understand that hasbro wants to minimise the use of plastic in their products, but I just dont think it's a good idea using open window packaging. It just doesnt offer that much protection 

 I think what they should do is strike a happy medium and create a smaller plastic window, and of course, use a lot more card-board. that way, you still reduce the amount of plastic in your products while protecting the figure and appealing to the collectors. 

(maybe something similar to the NECA godzilla figures they've released a few years ago where you have a small flap and have a small plastic window where you can see the figure inside?) 

 I think THIS is the solution. 

this is a hard, protective case that you can buy for your funko pops. what they can do is instead of using plastic in their packing, why not make a hard, protective case? that way, you can have it on display and this will reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in the landfill, while offering just as much protection (if not more) than enclosed packaging.

this is something that they can do with the 6 inch scale figures. (Marvel Legends, Black Series, etc.) most of the people who buy figurines are old teens / young adults who grew up playing with figurines back in the day who want to re-live a part of their child-hood ^^ this will appeal to collectors  as for all the stuff that kids buy, just keep it in enclosed packaging. that'll prevent theft, and everyone gets what they want.

I noticed they've just released a figure of Kiryu Goji. heh. it looks like Godzilla is trying to steal my money.  

am I gonna buy it?  ...not right now (I wanna see what the Haslab is and if I'm gonna spend $150 on a figure, I'd rather buy three marvel ghost rider figures than spend it on an S.H. MonsterArts), but this does give me hope that they'll release a kiryu figure in november.  (this year is the 20th anniversary of Godzilla Against MechaGozilla, and the movie came out in japanese theatres in november 2002)

As soon as it goes up for pre-order, I'm gonna buy THREE of these. O.O (I dont care how expensive it's gonna be) one to keep inside the box, one to play around with and one to put on display  you have NO idea how long I've been waiting for hasbro to release a ghost rider figure. I dont give a shit bout the haslab. THIS is what I want!!!

 Okay, I just wanna say that I love Zipp!!! ^^ she is easily my favourite out of the mane 5.  Okay, I know there are some people who are 'iffy' bout gen 5, but...man, I LOVE the episodes that focus on Zipp. whenever she is in the spot-light, it puts a massive smile on my face. this is definitely one of my favourites  I tell ya, this series has done a great job fleshing out her character.  I just love how mature she is and she is really entertaining. ^^ Yup, it's official: my favourite out of the mane 5 is Zipp Storm.  

also, Posey can go suck a lemon. just watching the gang dump a smoothie on her (not on purpose) was so satisfying. haha, get rekt!!!

Okay, normally, I dont get excited when they release a brand-new Marvel Legends figure, but this time...whoo boy!!! ^w^ I cant wait!!!  this month is the 50th anniversary of the Ghost Rider A.K.A my favourite super-hero and I'm expecting a Ghost Rider figure to come out of this.

Okay, I know you've got the Haslab Ghost Rider (which is gonna be expensive) and that's probably gonna be revealed either in this live-stream or at PulseCon late next month, but...I just want a figure of Ghost Rider. I dont really care bout the bike. (yeah, that's probably what they're gonna do for the Haslab. give it lights and sounds to make it as expensive as possible) rumours say they'll release a retro card-back. I mean, it is his 50th anniversary. they'd be crazy not to. I just want a ghost rider figure that is not over three digits. 

(like this but with a modern 6 inch scale marvel legends ghost rider figure) 

If the Haslab is NOT Robbie Reyes and his hell charger AND it's not $200 +...I'll consider it. I dont want to spend a crazy amount of money for a figurine.

okay, so I just came back from the Ford dealership and we sat in the Ford Puma, and we got a good idea of what it is like. overall, it is very similar to the Ford Falcon. I had to climb into the front seats, but it was easy to get into the back seats. in the front seats, it was easy to put on the seat-belts. (the belt buckle has been raised quite a fair bit). As for the rear seat-belts, (depending on where you’re sitting) the seat belts are on the opposite side of the head-rests, so it can be a bit awkward trying to get the seat-belt to get into the belt buckle. (yeah, they’re kinda wedged into the seat. In comparison to the falcon, they have been raised a teeny bit, so it is a little bit easier to get it into the belt buckle) the head-rests do obstruct quite a fair bit, but I'm sure you can lower it. overall, the rear visibility of the puma is pretty compromised. it feels like you're looking through a letterbox. that is a bit of a concern considering how 'large' the vehicle is, but at least you've got a lot of rear parking sensors to help you with that. the seats are comfortable and supportive. I was surprised by how SMALL the engine was. Yes, I knew it was gonna be small, but I did not think it’d be THAT small. Despite the size of the engine, that 1.0 litre 3 cylinder engine is an absolute gem / fire-cracker.

there was enough clearance to get in and out of the front and the rear without too much of a hassle. yeah, that was the one thing that I was really worried bout. but yeah, nah. the doors open up quite a fair bit, so that's good. So yeah, those were my first impressions about the Ford Puma. Next time, we’ll go and sit inside the Toyota Yaris, and do a comparison. There are some things that my dad likes about the Puma and there are some things he did not like. He did not like the design of the head-lights and how they were bulging, but he likes the tail-lights. He says the seating position is slightly better than the barina and it’s pretty similar to the Falcon. He says the visibility is…good and of course, he likes the interior. Based on the pictures, there are pluses and minuses between the Ford and the Toyota. But yeah, we need to take a look at the yaris. Ultimately, it's up to him. I’m happy either way.  both are about the same price (roughly $37,000). Yeah, we're not gonna buy a car until after my sisters wedding, so there's plenty of time.

Okay, at first, I wasnt happy with what we got in the trailer (the first 10 mins was just garbage. Mate!!! I dont care bout your shitty phone games. Just gimme more info bout Scarlet and Violet!!!),  but after I looked up some of the info that was on the official pokemon website, I was REALLY happy to hear that Bagon will be exclusive to Pokemon Violet, which is the version that I pre-ordered.  Salamence is one of my favourite pokemon, and IMO, Salamence is BETTER than Tyranitar
