I just finished watching the Winton SuperSprint and I'm SO happy to see a Ford WIN a race, for once.

I'm SO sick and tired of hearing bout Van Gisbergen. Seriously, that has to be THE best drive I've EVER seen from Camo. Now THAT's what you gotta to keep that stupid prick behind you. I love how he used his own tactics against him and he blocked him to stay in front when he got out of the pits on lap 16 to cover him. the last couple of laps was extremely tense. he kept his cool and he made sure he did not make ANY mistakes, even tho his tyres were shot. when they got to the last corner, shane tried to go down the inside, but he rammed the red bull car and bent his steering arm. now that's exactly what I'd do: give him a taste of his own medicine and try to punt him off. Yeah, I still got a lot of adrenaline running in me, so I'm sorry if my choice of words is a bit colorful, but you have NO idea how happy I am to see a FORD on the top step of the podium / you have no idea how much I hate Van Gisbergen. he is EASILY the dirtiest driver in the field. Seriously, f*ck triple 8. he's lucky I did not attend the Sydney SuperNight earlier this year, otherwise, I would've insulted him. I love how in the post race interview, one of the fans in the backround shouted "that's the fastest you'll go this afternoon Shane. he's got way better tyres than your shit-box" Ooooooooo. get rekt b*tch!!! I tell ya, we ford fans know how to come up with the best insults

 Yeah, I was pretty pissed off when Shane got pole position and I was pretty disappointed Davey did not get pole, but hey. he managed to get on the podium. ^^ I was really happy to see Camo get a great start off the line and stay in front of that piece of sh*t. all I can say is lucky number 13. yep, for those of you who dont know, 13 is my lucky number and this was race #13. whoo boy. that was the first time I've seen a FORD win a race in the V8 Supercars Championship. 

...and best of all? I got to see a FORD do a burnout. aww yeah!!! that is AWESOME!!! cant get any better than that

Okay, I know I said I wasnt gonna buy a diecast this year, but there's a chance that I might.  this year marks the end of an era for Walkinshaw Andretti United. they've been racing commodores since 1988 and they were the Factory Holden Team all the way up til 2017.

Since they're moving to ford next year, I wanna show my support. I got a couple of options. at my local hobby store, they've got the 2011 bathurst winner in 1:43 scale for $53 and they've got the race up on youtube. up to this point, this was the the last time WAU won the Bathurst 1000 (Nick Percat won that race back in 2011).

Last year, Chaz won the great race for WAU. the 1:43 scale is $100 and the 1:18 scale is gonna be a whopping $265. he is one of my favourite drivers, but I think that's a little too much...

...and last but not least, you've got the cars they're currently racing in the V8 Supercars Championship. 

Price-wise, I think I should go for the 2011 Bathurst winner, but I really wanna get one of the newer models, and I'm more interested in getting Nick's car than Chaz.
tbh, I like both drivers, but I wanna get something different. I met nick percat in 2017 in a signing session and he was a really nice guy. next year, I'll be able to support him, which makes me happy  ^^ so yeah, a bit of a tough decision to make  I feel like I should just bite the bullet and just buy the 2011 bathurst winner before it's sold out.

ohh yeah, I almost forgot. :O May 27th 2016 is when I made my OC and May 30 2016 is when I made my account / is when I first hopped onto the MLP Forums. yeah, those are some pretty important mile-stones.  man, I still cant believe Solar Flare is already 6 years old. damn!!!  I tell ya, Solar Flare has been more than just an OC. he has been a bro to me. I mean, he perfectly represents who I am, in pony form, and I put a lot of my heart and soul into the design of my OC. every color / design has a meaning behind it. (yellow is my favourite color, red is the color of my favourite team in motorsport, black is my hair color IRL, etc.) I tell ya, he looks perfect. *chefs kiss* I love Solar Flare and I will never stop loving him

Well, the qualifying race for the Nürburgring 24 is coming up. ^^  I'm not sure how this works, but I assume the results of this race is what determines the grid for the Nürburgring 24 that's coming up later this month. if anything, this is practice for the Nürburgring 24.

So, who do I think is gonna win?  I have a feeling it'll either be the Rowe racing BMW...

(the beemer is without a doubt my favourite to win the event. this is the one that I REALLY want to win) 

...the Grello Porsche (last years winners)

(this would be my 2nd choice. they've always done well at this event)  

...whatever Mercedes Maro Engel / Raffaele Marciello is in.

(although Mercedes hasn't won the event since 2016, the mercedes is a really strong car and they've got a really strong line-up for the Nürburgring 24.) 

...or one of the Audi's.

(not my favourite, but they have a really strong track record and have won the Nurburgring 24 multiple times. what's funny is some of my favourite drivers (David Reynolds, Chaz Mostert, Nick Percat) will be driving Audi's for the bathurst 12 hour. yeah, I want them to crush triple 8 and win the Bathurst 12 hour) 

If I had to pick a dark horse, it'd have to be the Aston Martin.

So yeah, these are my top picks. if any one of them wins the event, I'll be satisfied. ^^

EDIT: Ohh yeah, I almost forgot this was on :O the Silverstone 500. 

Well, I just finished watching the first couple of episodes of My little Pony: Tell your tale and it's actually not that bad. tbh, I had really low expectations and I thought it was gonna be crap / pony life 2.0. the first episode was...pretty meh, but the rest of it was pretty good / entertaining.  there was a lot people that said this was way better than pony life, so I decided to take a look at it.

I love how they focus on the two pegasi in the first three episodes. they really did not get a lot of screen-time in the movie. (if anything, this mini-series is WAY better than the movie and this SHOULD'VE been the introduction to gen 5.) 

I love how Zipp is incredibly shy and she does not like the amount of attention she gets from every-pony, but she is also the most mature of the mane 5. I really like that. tbh, that's how I'm like IRL. she's a combination of fluttershy and rainbow dash. (I'd say she is more rainbow dash than fluttershy, but nowhere near as cocky as rainbow dash.) that is a really nice blend between the two and she is certainly the most interesting out of the mane 5. I know I said izzy was my favourite out of mane 5 when I watched the movie, but now...Zipp is my favourite. 

whereas her sister...ohh man, she is the complete opposite: she wants all of the attention, she's over-dramatic (I could say the same for Izzy) and she's into fashion. (I will admit: I'm still not a fan of the use of I-phones / technology in equestria, but that is something I'll have to get used to, unfortunately) yeah, she is definitely the rarity of the group.

in one of the episodes, Hitch says 'honesty is the best policy'. yup, he's applejack, and we already know that Izzy Moonbow is Pinkie Pie with a horn and Sunny is Twilight but as an earth pony. 

it reminds of the earlier seasons of MLP FIM where the episodes were cute, fun and simple, and I really like that. for anyone who is on the fence, I'd skip the first episode and I'd go straight to the 2nd episode. it gets better and better and better.

call me crazy, but I think this should be the main series. I thought it was gonna a carbon copy of Pony Life, but no. they did a really good job. 

(I'd give it a thumbs up, but...we ponies dont have thumbs...so I'll give it a cup of cider) 

So, would I go back and re-watch this? yes I would.

there was A LOT of speculation that this team would bring a new manufacturer into the V8 Supercars championship next year. OH F*CK YEAH, THAT IS F*CKING AWESOME!!!  

I just said the other day that Chaz will always be a Ford driver, despite the fact that he made the switch to holden a couple of years ago. (for those of you who dont know, chaz mostert WON the bathurst 1000 in 2014, and 2021) 

Okay, NOW I'm excited. in the last couple of events, Walkinshaw Andretti United has become the only team that is able to match the pace of the red bull cars, and it was starting to get kinda boring watching two holden teams duke it out against each-other. Next year, we'll have THREE VERY STRONG Ford Teams on our side. (thanks to the guidance of former triple 8 engineer david cauchi and the groves, Penrite Racing is now the leading ford team and it's so good to see Davey up at the pointy end of the field. they've kept throwing performance parts at the cars and now, they're even better than the shell cars, which is pretty ironic considering they've been the leading ford team for the last couple of years ) 

Welcome back Chaz!!! ^w^ ...and we also get Nick Percat. I met Nick in a signing session back in 2017. he was a really nice guy. Now, I can support him for real. Ohh man, the combination of Grove Racing (David Reynolds), Shell V Power Racing (Anton De Pasquale and Will Davison) and now, Walkinshaw Andretti United (Chaz Mostert and Nick Percat), they are gonna DESTROY Triple 8 next year.  this has to be the best news I've heard all year. I remember back in the early 2010s when these two were fighting for factory backing from GM / Holden. Ultimately, it was triple 8 that came out on top and they left the Holden Racing Team in the dust. from 2017, they lost their factory backing and in 2018, the team was bought by Michael Andretti. the team started to re-build themselves from the ground up, similar to when Roger Penske bought 50% of Dick Johnson Racing back in 2015. It wasnt til they signed up chaz, that was when they really turned thing around. but yeah, it's hard to believe these guys were the ORIGINAL Holden Racing Team, and now, they are racing for Ford. yeah, it comes to show ya that these guys do not like each other. (Walkinshaw Andretti United and Triple 8) and they want to get their revenge. 

Oh, would you look at that. it is the 4th of may here in Australia. time to give ya a star wars meme.  So yeah, for those of you who are into star wars, May the 4th be with you 

All jokes aside, Revenge of the sith is my favourite star wars film. I know a lot of people like to make memes out of this movie, but there's no denying just how much of a badass obi wan kenobi was in this movie.  it is EASILY the darkest film in the franchise. I grew up watching the prequels and they were a big part of my child-hood.

Well, today is the first day of May. ^^  Man, there is A LOT happening this month.  you've got the qualifying race for the Nurburgring 24 on the 8th (which will determine the grid for the Nurburgring 24), the Eurovision song contest in the next two weeks (I'll be supporting Croatia cuz I'm quarter Croatian), Australia (of course, I'm half Australian, but if I'm gonna be brutally honest, I dont think Australia is gonna win it) and Finland A.K.A the guys who WON the Eurovision song contest back in 2006, which is the first time I watched the Eurovision song contest 

(I tell ya, these guys were robbed last year. they should've won it. I'm sick of this modern-pop music trash. We need more ROCK MUSIC!!!!!!) 

...the Bathurst 12 hour on the 15th (I hope Davey wins the race.  this will be the first time I'll be able to watch qualifying / the top 10 shootout for the bathurst 12 hour)

...and last but not least, you've got the Nurburgring 24 on the 26th of May. (I really want these guys to win the Nurburgring 24) 

 it's hard to say what is gonna be the highlight of this month. One thing's for sure: this'll certainly help take my mind off of what's going on in the world.  

this is also the month where it starts to get cold. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the cold, but...it is what it is.

wow, it's a good thing I waited!!! ^^  okay, so there's just been an announcement that SH. MonsterArts will make a figure of...Monster X.  

So, for those of you who are wondering who is Monster X, he is basically King Ghidorah...before he transforms into Keizer Ghidorah. (yeah, he turns into a different version of king ghidorah) he comes out of a meteor after godzilla blasts it into smithereens. he teams up with Gigan to try and beat godzilla, but it ultimately becomes a fight between Monster X and Godzilla. IMO, the real fight starts when Keizer Ghidorah appears. 

...but yeah, this is pretty exciting. I was wondering what was gonna be the next figure S.H. MonsterArts was gonna release after Final Wars Goji. speaking of which, my S.H. MonsterArts Final Wars Goji should be coming out next month. I'll need to head over to Castle Towers sometime next week and find out. Seriously, I cant wait to pick it up. ^^

EDIT: Holy shit!!! O.O some-body's already got a pic of it. MAN, it looks DOPE!!! 

I tell ya, the level of articulation this thing is gonna have is gonna be vastly superior to any S.H MonsterArts Godzilla that has come before it, BUT I'm probably gonna keep it in the box to retain its value. =P

...but yeah, this is another figure that is gonna sky-rocket once it's gone. One thing's for sure: this figure will be CHEAPER than Keizer Ghidorah.

Okay, I will admit, final wars is not my favourite film, but it is a lot better than a lot of other films I've seen. it's colourful, fun, and a lil bit bonkers. if you were expecting anything realistic from this movie, you're gonna have a bad time. this is not the type of film where you can just simply go and watch. this is a movie for the fans. if you wanna get the most out of it, you need to pretend it's an anime. that's all I'm gonna say. 

yeah, if you dont really care bout the plot and ya just wanna see pointless action throughout the entire movie / monsters, humans and aliens duke it out against each-other, then this is the movie for you. y'know, it's funny how I was comparing this to GvK. I should've been comparing this to KOTM. I just recently watched that a couple of days ago, and the two of them are pretty similar. the only issue I have with KOTM is that is feels like I'm watching a marvel movie. it's WAY too chaotic and it's difficult to see what's going on cuz there's so much happening on the screen. but the two films have got plenty of references to keep you satisfied. if you're looking for something modern and realistic and you can put up with all the chaos, KOTM is the one to watch, but if you're simple minded (like me), and you just wanna watch something that is fun and colourful, even if it doesnt make any sense / has ZERO logic, and you dont really care that much bout the plot, then Final Wars is your film. If you havent seen either of them, I highly suggest you go and watch them. 

Y'know, this is exactly the kind of news I wanted to hear. I was a bit of a bad day yesterday (I dont wanna talk bout it) and what's funny is, I just had a dream bout this. I did not think it'd turn out to be true. I like Final Wars. it's not my favourite, but it's a fun movie to watch every now and then. it's also the 2nd japanese godzilla movie I've seen on television. the first is godzilla vs destroyah, which was MANY years back. so yeah, Final Wars means A LOT to me. what's funny is, it's the only godzilla film that I have on DVD, I have it recorded on my Foxtel IQ, AND I have it on USB, so I can watch it whenever I want ^^

Man, this just made things A LOT more difficult. yes, I am a collector and no, I will not stop collecting. I have a bit of a plan. what I intend to do is I'm gonna get all of my diecast models and store them in a card-board box to take room for my figurines. Eventually, I'll need to buy myself a glass cabinet so I have a place to store them in my room and put them on display. yeah, there's not a lot of space down-stairs and there's a couple of figures they've just released that I wanna get:

- Star Wars Black Series General Grievous
- Mezco Ghost Rider (I'm honestly 50 - 50 on this. yes, I'd love to get a figure of ghost rider, but at the same time, I DONT wanna spend $340 on a figure. that seems rather wasteful, if ya ask me. I like to split it and buy other figurines, not just the one. there's NO doubt they'll release a marvel legends figure of ghost rider, considering it's his 50th anniversary later this year. yes, I'm taking the gamble and I'm fully expecting hasbro to release a figure of him in August)
- Marvel Legends Mr. Knight (At first, I didnt think much of the design, but he was really cool in the TV series + they havent made a figure of him, til now...and it looks A LOT better than the standard Moon Knight figure.) 
- Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Fuecoco Plushie (I have to get this.) 

Okay, yesterday I was gonna make a post bout something called the Midnight sons, but I think that can wait. seriously, this made my day a whole lot better  y'know what's funny? I was in the mood to watch final wars the other day (and several other godzilla films, for that matter), now...this just makes me wanna go and watch it 

no kidding, when I was having a nap earlier today, I was like: 'gee, it'd be nice if SH MonsterArts released a figure of Monster X'. well, it looks like I got my wish  I think that's the first time that has EVER happened to me. XD
