  1. My only concern is that the G5 series would turn into little more then a cash grab designed to profit from the unexpected popularity of the G4 series. That it would lose the heart that G4 has when they try and force its popularity rather then allowing it to come naturally like this did. That being said I would most certainly give it a try if nothing else.
  2. I... just... no words. To amazing! *overexcites herself and passes out*
  3. Well I originally meant Octavia, but honestly I think it would be amazing to see the two of them play off each other.
  4. I agree! She has such a pretty and unique design for her character. Even for the limited time we see her she just seems to have so much personality I would love to know more about her.
  5. Getting donuts was a wonderful and delicious idea. Until I remembered there are in fact six to a box and now I have to utilize a cruel amount of willpower to keep from eating them all at once.

    1. Victoria and Co.

      Victoria and Co.

Take all the ones you didn't eat and put them in a completely sealed box. Do not observe them in the slightest. They will both have been eaten by you and not eaten by you. Schrödinger's doughnuts.

Ah! I love it! Schrodinger's doughnuts. xD I want a wallpaper of that

  6. Oh I know very well the difference between the fandoms I'm in and the parts of who I am that I was born with and will never be able to change. Not that I see any reason to alter either part of me. I consider myself very lucky that I just seem to find the most sensible and tolerant people. Even after I moved away from my hometown I still managed to find myself in a situation where the people I live and work near are very understanding and open. *I tried to click the link to your deviantart page on your profile, but it wouldn't work. Do you have any site like that where you showcase your art? I would love to see more if you do and wouldn't mind.
  7. Ooo I'm never one to turn down cake!
  8. Mmm true true. I suppose where I don't really suscribe myself to any fandom communities I don't really notice it. Honestly the way I grew up even probably had a hand in that as well. For all of my... unusual quarks I've never faced any real serious discrimination for them (I realize how sheltered and good I've had it in this respect and I also realize how many others aren't so fortunate). Not for being a furry, for being a brony, for being gay.... even my religious beliefs have always been accepted by the people around me so it still rather shocks me when I see something as begnin as this garner hate. Sad to... I like Vinyl Scratch. Edit: BTW I realize this is off topic, but I just had to say I adore your avatar! It's so cute I can't stop staring at it.
  9. Thank you. So I guess it is that I did something to it. Oh well a minor inconvenience at worst.
  10. Honestly, while I don't agree with it, I can see why the furry community gets the hate and misunderstanding that it does. I've... well not talked to (I've only ever lurked in the outskirts), but I've seen some absolutly amazing and supportive people, but on the other hand... on the other hand there is a LOT of drama. And I mean a lot. Not to mention this strange... I don't even know what you would call it. Racism (?) among various species. It seems like if you're something "generic" like foxes or wolves you get a lot of slack for it. But again this is speaking as someone who has only ever treaded on the edge of the community and never really gotten herself involved. Have you noticed this?
  11. Now it makes me wonder if I've done something to it. This isn't the first time I've had problems like this with it, but I always assumed it was normal.
  12. You deserve them. It's easy to be a good friend in the best of times, it's a true test to continue to be a good friend during the worst. I'm just glad it seemed to work out well for you in the end. Can you imagine how much easier life would be if we learned to accept people for all of their strange quarks and differences and tried to understand them before we judged them? I realize that's a bit of a cliched statement, but it holds so much truth behind it.
  13. You know I have to really give you props for this. It takes a lot to get past a preconceived notion and actually attempt to involve yourself like you did for the sake of your friend and change your entire attitude towards something. I wish more people went at life with this kind of attitude. I was a furry long long long before I was a brony and there is a definate difference between the two. Being a brony, at least for me, is about enjoying a very well made television show that sometimes gives me insights into my own life and how best I can try to live it. Being a furry... well that's a different and far more personal matter all together.
  14. Thank you! Everypony seems so nice here I thought it would be a really great place to start. I'm actually using Firefox. I try really hard to be careful with my spelling, but generally I don't even realize I'm spelling the word wrong to begin with so I have no idea when I'm making a mistake. Firefox's spell check has become essential. Nice to know I don't seem to be doing to bad yet!
  15. I always liked the idea of Rarity and Fluttershy because it reminds me of a friend of mine that I used to have a big crush on back in high school, but never had the courage to tell her. I like to imagine it's how our relationship would have turned out if I had been more open about my feelings for her. So I guess.... living vicariously through ponies?
  16. I agree I love Applejack. I think it comes from the fact that a very large part of my life is my work, and like her it's not just something I do because I have to but something I'm truly passionate about even though it's hard and can be stressful sometimes. I still can't think of anything else I would rather be doing with my life and will always come back to it. Not to mention we both seem to be workaholics. I also love how close she is with her family. My family is the single most important thing in my life above everything else and in the end they're always the first and last thing I think about when making any decision.
  17. New member just dropping in to say hello. I'm actually very shy even on the internet, but I'm trying to make some changes in my life and figured that this might be a very good place to try and get over that. I love animals, especially dogs, and actually work as a dog groomer for a vet clinic. Other then my own darling Bella I have two cats and I used to care for more exotic animals before I moved out of my hometown and couldn't take them to the new apartment with me. Aside from that reading and movies take up a great deal of my life (mostly horror stuff), video games when I'm in the mood for it, and sometimes writing if I really get inspired. Also pardon my bad spelling. I usually rely on my browsers spell checker to tell me when something is wrong otherwise I won't catch it, but it doesn't seem to work for this forum...
