      I forgot to say i tried it several times with the sounds and music. It NEVER worked.

      I'm curious, do you take naps during the day? That can mess up sleeping at night. Another thing I'd recommend is try going to bed at the same time each day, that gets your body in the habit of getting tired around that time.
