@meme and it gets glorified for ripping off assets while a pokemon game gets the chopping block

Not only is it "glorified", it sells toys. But the reason it gets by and the Pokemon game doesn't is it's just far enough from these games to not be a copyright violation. Meeps are very similar to Puffles but they're called Meeps and can fly (I think) and aren't meant to be fluffy. The locations were almost all an exact copy of Club Penguin the one time I went there (it was in beta I think), down to the Pizzatron 3000 copy (IIRC). There is not a single original idea. But it's just different enough and doesn't use the names of the games they stole from.
And it kinda has something to do with Disney, considering Disney has owned Club Penguin since 2007.
