A customer today came in with a contract card that I haven’t much experience with, and when I was trying to charge his bill in the system the card kept declining the payment, so I kept trying over and over again.  
 

As I’m about to give up and ask if he has another form of payment the phone rings as I’m doing all this, and when I answer I just heard an exasperated voice saying “You have to add the “N” in front of the tail number when you type it in!” And he hangs up.  That was kinda freaky and Interesting to know they’re watching , and glad he descended from the heavens to help, but I also feel like an idiot now lol!   I could tell I wasn’t the only idiot he’s had to call before.  
 

I’m glad the “recently posted in” thing came back again on the homepage.  It’s been nice.

I recently got contacted by a popular podcaster interested in maybe including  my story about when I witnessed a plane crash that killed all 4 people on board in an upcoming episode he’s doing.  
 

I didn’t notice the message he sent till a few days later cause stupid Reddit didn’t notify me for some odd reason, but if it’s not too late I might actually be interested.  Gonna listen to a few of his podcasts first just to see what it’s like and stuff.

I like when I’m marshaling a plane in, and when I start walking backward to bring it in farther I forget I laid the wheel chocks behind me like an idiot, then trip over them almost busting my butt, and looking back up after gaining my footing to see the pilots halfway trying to hold a laugh like 

I need to make an about me, but I don’t really know what to say.  

Feels like I’m in school again and not knowing what to say about myself when introduced on the first day. 

Well today was eventful at work.  
 

Fueled a plane today who asked for a top off and one wing took 50 gallons more than the other.  All the coworkers had the same “WTF” reaction upon seeing that.   So we told the pilot that one side took 50 gallons more than the other.  He was like “Huh that’s weird.  See ya later!”  
 

Not five minutes after he takes off he loses an engine and has to make an emergency landing.  Shocker.  Glad everyone’s alright though, and the passengers are currently in the lounge visibly shaken understandably.  
 

It bothers me when pilots ignore warnings.  If you wanna play risks when you’re the only passenger then fine, but don’t do that with passengers...

Always nice hearing a nice song again that you haven't heard in years.   Also, I wish his creation of music didn't come to such a sad ending.

Oh man it bugs the snot out of me when the weekend crew half-asses putting a plane in the hangar, and puts it in a spot I can’t get a plane I need out without having to move the other one.  Just kinda irritating when the weekday crew will do what we can to make things easier on the weekend crew, but they won’t do the same for us.  

I don’t like to be the one to complain cause sometimes you can’t get around having to move planes around to get others out, and dinging a million plus dollar jet is a scary thought, but that’s why you get someone to spot you if you’re that nervous about backing it farther into the corner.  I will mention this on our app we use to communicate with each other.    Kindly of course. 

Also finally went to take that drug test.

Hello guys.  Hope y’all are having a good day/night.   I haven’t felt all there the past couple of days tbh.

2:30am and I’ve been watching ghost videos on YouTube for about an hour now lol. 

Time to go watch happy pony things so I have a chance at getting sleep tonight.  

I watch this every now and then and it always feels surreal to me that I've met the captain of this flight before.   He was related to some people that lived near me.   My neighbors hosted  a dinner thing for the community and he came a couple times to that when he was visiting.   I don't remember much about him other than that he was interested in planes and I was too.  Yes he made a terrible decision that led to the crash killing all of them  theres not doubt about that, but I hate how much he's  blamed for it when a huge contributing factor to it was how shitty the work schedule was  on them, and how dogged tired he was cause of it. 

Saw this dude while  walking on the trails today.  

Well that was adorable. 

Looked for this cat for a solid hour earlier today.  Was starting to get little worried then... 

Why am I always the one getting picked for “random” drug tests at work?!    

Random thought of the day, but everyone always says Dash would own a sports car or something cause she likes fast, but I think she’d be the type to enjoy some off-roading in a Jeep or similar type of vehicle.    She doesn’t need a car to go fast when she can break the sound barrier all on her own.   No sports car can do that like Dash can. 

I don't think my town can go 5 years without getting hit by a tornado.  Seems like everyone is alright though, and it appears it weakened a lot before it hit us compared to what it was in the photo of my status update earlier THANK GOD cause it'd have been a whole lot worse had it not, but we'll see.   I'll know more tomorrow when it's day time and everything can be assessed better. 

All my friends are okay, so I'm happy about that at least. 

I might not have a job to go to tomorrow...
