(OOC: part 1. You know the drill, read this and respond to situation I give you at the bottom.) StaticArc X Cheerilee Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom have tried for the past several months to and set up Big Macintosh, Applebloom’s brother, and Ms. Cheerilee, their school teacher. The three young fillies had a fantasy where their teacher could be truly happy if only she had a special somepony. Big Mac seemed to be the only good choice for Cheerilee, and they have planned every day to try and make them love one another. Applebloom came out of the school house one day when the bell rang with her friends. She said, “Oh, when are we ever going to get Ms. Cheerilee her special somepony?” “Don’t ask me! Haven’t we tried everything already?” commented Sweetie Belle. “Maybe we should just give up girls,” said Scootaloo, “Sweetie Belle is right, we’ve tried everything between Big Mac and Cheerilee. Nothing is sticking…” Applebloom sighed. “I guess we’re going to have to let Ms. Cheerilee be alone forever. Let’s meet up at the treehouse so we can figure out how to get our cutie marks.” The three young fillies started to walk home to their tree house when suddenly they were greeted by a Stallion sitting on a bench. He said, “Hello there, I'm really sorry to bother you three, but I really need your help with something important. You don't know me, but it involves your teacher, and I have good intentions. Could you come over and sit on this bench with me so we can talk?" Sweetie Belle jumped to conclusions and said, “Hey! Maybe you can be with Ms. Cheerilee!” “Shush Sweetie Belle! Now, what was it you wanted mister?” interjected Applebloom. The pony who stopped them was named Static Arc. When Sweetie Belle said he could be with Ms. Cheerilee, he couldn’t help but smile. “As a matter of fact, I have heard from a certain somepony that you are trying to play matchmaker for your teacher because you all care about her. Now, I'm not here to scold you, I'm here for... well... I'm hoping that you guys could help me out. You see, I like Cheerilee, a lot. I think she is an amazing teacher and I'm sure all of you care about her as much as I do, and that's why you don't want to see he so lonely, but what I want you to instead forget about trying to match Cheerilee and Big Macintosh up, and instead, help me try and win Cheerilee's heart. Could you three... try and hook up some sort of date for me and Cheerilee? I will understand if you think I'm not a good match for your teacher, but just understand that I want to be there for her, and treat her right, like you guys wanted to do all along. Now, will you help me?" The three fillies’ jaws were dropped. It was as if Celestia granted their wish for somepony to be with Cheerilee. Scootaloo immediately said, “Are you kidding me? You’re perfect! Come with us, we’ll introduce you right now!” The three of them pushed Static Arc towards the school house in order to meet her. Panicking, Arc protested by saying, “No no, I’ve already met her. Just try to ‘cloak and dagger’ her into going on a date with me!” It was too late. The cutie mark crusaders, as they three fillies were called, had already delivered him in front of Cheerilee. “Oh, Ms. Cheerilee! We have someone for you to meet! Teehehehe.” said the cutie mark crusaders in unison. “What is it girls?” said the teacher, as she turned around. The instant she recognized Static Arc, she realized what was happening. “So Mr. Arc… it seems as if you enlisted the help of my three best students…” Arc facehoofed himself. “It’s not what it seems Ms. Cheerilee. You see, all I wanted them to do was to stop them from bugging you and Big Mac!” “Nu uh Mr. Arc, that’s not all you said!” told Scootaloo, “He also wanted us to set you two on a date!” “Is this true Mr. Arc? Did you want to go on a date with me?” asked Cheerilee. Static Arc wasn’t sure if he was supposed to be embarrassed or mad at himself for letting this situation get this far so fast. At this point, he would be doing no favors for himself if he lied. Arc cocked his head up, puffed out his chest, smiled, and said with confidence, “Yes Ms. Cheerilee. I actually did want to go on a date with you. I can’t think of any better mare than you to spend time with. Would you be so kind to accept?” At first it looked like Cheerilee was going to say no, but before she could give an answer, the CMC started hopping up and down and saying, “Say yes Ms. Cheerilee! Say yes! Say yes!” Cheerilee was in a no-win situation. She couldn’t say no, otherwise her students would be out of control. In order to appease them she reluctantly said, “Okay… I’ll come on a date with you.” “YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! We did it! We did it! We did it!” cheered the CMC. While they were celebrating, Cheerilee asked what he wanted to do and when it was going to be. Arc replied, “How about right now? Just a simple, no cost, straight forward nature walk through the fields and forest nearby Ponyville? We’ll get it over with and I’ll return you back home tonight. If you don’t like our time together, you don’t have to date me again.” Cheerilee seemed pretty satisfied with the idea that their date can be over as soon as it starts, and it won’t cost a thing. “I like your idea. We can walk and talk for the rest of the evening.” Cheerilee then looked at the CMC. “Now, about you three; please go home. I know what all of you are thinking, don’t follow us okay? Intervening won’t help you get your cutie marks, so for the sake of your teacher, please go home.” “Awe! But Ms. Cheerilee! We-“ “No buts! I don’t want to see any of you while Mr. Arc and I are on our ‘date’. Am I clear?” “Yes Ms. Cheerilee…” The CMC dropped their heads down, and then walk out of the school to go home. Once the fillies were out of earshot, Cheerilee reluctantly said, “Alright. It looks like we’re in the clear. Let’s get going shall we?” Looks like I’m off to a bad start... thought Static Arc. I don’t know how I’m going to turn this around before the date is over. And so, the pair walked out, side by side to the open fields near Ponyville. It was a slightly cloudy day which occasionally blocked out the sun. Since it was towards the end of Spring, the grass and the flowers were at full bloom and color. The temperature was perfect; 76 degrees Fahrenheit. There was also a mild wind blowing through at about 3 wind power south-west. Animals freely frolicked around the field, and birds were flying in formation high in the sky. In other words, Static Arc couldn’t have picked a better day to take Cheerilee on a nature walk. At least I have nature on my side. Static Arc started the conversation. “So Ms. Cheerilee, I’ve only heard a little about how those three fillies give you trouble from time to time. What’s the story behind that?” “Well, it all started on Hearts and Hooves day when I told them I didn’t have a special somepony.” “Go on.” “Long story short, they made a love potion that forced me and Big Mac in love. Can you believe we wanted to get married? Thankfully the three of them reversed the potion’s effects and we returned to normal.” “What did the two of you think after the fact?” “Once we weren’t in ‘love’ anymore, we remembered all the sappy things we said to each other and were very embarrassed. For punishment, Big Mac made them do his work for the rest of the day.” “And what do you and Big Mac think of each other now?” “Well, if you must know, him and I are just good friends. We had a lot in common, but we never sparked like the girls wanted. Is that what you wanted to hear?” asked a slightly annoyed Cheerilee. “Yup! … NO! I mean no!” panicked Arc. Cheerilee had a smirk, she had him right where she wanted. “Is it, ‘yup’ you wanted to hear that Big Mac and I aren’t together? Or is it ‘no’ you didn’t want to hear that we were good friends?!” Darn it! Did I have to be so fickle? “Umm… what I meant was, is that it’s good that you and Big Mac are still friends after that silly event!” Great save Static! “Mmm hmm,” mused Cheerilee, “nice recovery there Mr. Arc.” Is she playing mind games with me or something? Wait a minute. What’s that on the hill? “Hey Ms. Cheerilee, do you what I see over there?” Arc pointed over to a nearby hill where a picnic area was. “It looks like somepony abandoned all their fresh food and never took a bite?” Ms. Cheerilee didn’t even take a look. “Just… ignore it Mr. Arc. This is obviously a ploy by those silly fillies again. Let’s just keep walking.” When she beckoned Static Arc to come with her, Arc could hear Ms. Cheerilee’s stomach growl. She realized that Arc heard it, she blushed. “It looks like you’re not the one to make that decision. Your stomach has spoken!” said Arc, trying to clever. Apparently, what he said worked because she followed him without argument to the neatly arranged food on top of a picnic blanket. The food they found was amazing. Full blown cakes, Apple pie, cupcakes, muffins, and purple colored punch was lying on the blanket. Static Arc was impressed. “Wohh! If those fillies really did do this, they must really want you to have a special somepony!” Cheerilee was surprised too at the fancy food. “It seems like so, does it? Well, since they went to all the trouble, let’s sit down and eat.” Both of them sat down at the same time to have an early dinner. The food really was delicious, and neither of them could decide on what to eat first. “How about we be rebellious and have some cake first?” said Arc. “Sure. It looks good anyways.” Static Arc grabbed the knife and started to cut into the cake. First he sliced a piece for Cheerilee, and stopped before he got one for himself. “Don’t you want a piece, Mr. Arc?” “In a second. I wanted some of this drink before I ate.” As Arc proceeded to pour a glass of purple punch into a glass, Cheerilee was studying it closely. Something about the color was awfully familiar to her. “Wait Static! Don’t drink that!” warned Cheerilee right as he was about to take a drink. It was too late. Static Arc had already swallowed a sizable gulp from the glass. “What are you talking about?” asked Arc, “it tastes and feels fine to me!” “Whatever you do, don’t look into my eyes!” pleaded Cheerilee, “If you do, you’ll fall madly in love with me!” “Wait, you think this is a love potion? I already got a glimpse of your eyes, and I don’t feel any different, honest!” Cheerilee was less tense after hearing him. Arc continued, “Trust me, it tasted just like grape punch. It’s pretty good, try it!” She was hesitant at first, but after Static Arc poured a glass for her, she went ahead and took a very, very small sip. Just as Arc said, it did taste like grape punch. She was no longer worried that it was any kind of poison or potion. “Thank goodness it’s just a normal drink! I don’t know what I do to those girls if they forced me to love again…” It almost looked like Cheerilee was about to scream at the top of her lungs, she was so mad. When Static Arc saw her like this, he tried to calm her down. “Did you have a rough day today Ms. Cheerilee? You seem very stressed…” “Stressed?!? What gave that away?!!!” yelled Cheerilee. The moment her voice was raised, she realized how rude she was being, and calmed herself down. “I’m really sorry about that outburst… Yes, I have been stressed lately. Working at school this year has been very interesting to say the least, and I’m not getting any younger. You didn’t deserve my pent up rage right there…” “That’s okay Ms. Cheerilee. Teachers like you do a lot of good work without much praise. I understand. And about you not getting any younger? What are you talking about? You are very youthful still!” Cheerilee smiled and blushed briefly. “That’s nice of you to say, but it’s true, those children get younger and younger every year and I get older and older.” “That’s not true! I’ve seen you outrun those fillies and colts easily when they get out of control!” Oops. Before Cheerilee could process his last statement as something creepy, he quickly tried to change the subject. “Anyways! Ms. Cheerilee, if you don’t mind me asking, you said earlier that you wouldn’t know what you would to those fillies if they forced you to love again. Stop me if I’m being so personal, but I get the sense that you don’t want a special somepony?” Cheerilee gave a similar smirk that she had earlier. “Nice recovery once again Mr. Ark! No, I don’t mind if you ask. It’s really simple why I don’t have a special somepony. I haven’t met anypony that has really sparked my interest!” Ouch… that one hurt. I can’t believe she’s this cold to trying out dating! She’s said backhanded comments, been closed off, and seems to be two steps ahead of me with her mind games! This isn’t the Cheerilee I have feelings for… Ugh. I need a piece of cake. Arc asked another question as he reached to cut another piece of cake. “Okay then Ms. Cheerliee, what does spark your interest?” *CLICK!* “AHHHHHHH!” screamed Cheerliee and Static Arc, together. A sensitive wire attached to a trap door below the picnic blanket was severed when Arc cut the cake in the exact right spot. The wire which was inside the cake was the only thing holding the trap door from collapsing. Both ponies and all the food dropped into a hole in the ground, which was, ironically, very crudely dug. Both Cheerilee and Static Arc were barely conscious after they hit the ground hard. “I told you a pony would take the bait!” said a very raspy voice. “You were right. And it looks like we got two for the price of one.” responded a deep voice. “This one looks hurt. What should we do?” asked a higher pitched voice. “Let’s just put them in the dungeon until tomorrow, then we’ll put them to work.” said the raspy voice. Two of the mystery voiced picked up Cheerilee and Static Arc and then threw them in a cell. The two of them laid there still trying to recover from the fall. Arc finally woke up, however, he was in pain. He saw his left hind leg was broken from the fall which would make walking a difficult task. Trying not to panic, he woke up Cheerilee. “Ms. Cheerilee, are you okay? Are you hurt?” *Moan* “Ugh. Where are we…?” “Somewhere underground, but I’m not sure where exactly, other than we’re in a cell as prisoners.” Cheerilee blinked her eyes in order to wake up totally. She looked around and saw that Arc was right. Very surprisingly, she began to smile in a classic Ms. Cheerilee way. “Well, the good news is I’m not hurt. What about you?” She looked at Arc from head to hoof to see if anything was wrong, where she noticed that his hind leg bone was broken. “Oh my… Mr. Arc, you need medical help!” “Yeah, well, it looks like we’re all out of options. We can’t escape that fast if I can’t use one of my legs!” said Static Arc. He then gave Cheerilee a puzzling look when he asked, “Wait a minute, why are you smiling? This is a very dire situation!” That question made Cheerilee give an even bigger smile. “They don’t call me ‘Cheer’ilee for nothing! I try to have a positive outlook in every situation.” Every situation? Like our date just a few minutes ago? Arc decided to keep that thought to himself, for now. Instead, he was more worried about his broken leg. “What should we do with my leg? It looks like it’ll take more than a week with heavy magical treatment, but months if it heals by itself.” “I have good news for you then, Mr. Arc. While I was in training as a teacher, they had us take some nursing courses since most small schools like mine don’t have a nurse. I learned how to treat everything from a tummy ache to a broken bone! Just give me a moment here…” Cheerilee looked around the cell again. It was a sizable dug out inside the tunnels underground. The only way out was through the bars since the ceiling, the floor, and the three other walls were made out of hardened dirt. There were roots coming out of the wall, indicating that they weren’t very far from the surface. Cheerilee bit off several of these roots and twisted them together to make a rope. Next she tried to find something to use as a splint. Nothing but dirt covered the walls of the cell. When she looked closer at the details of each wall, she noticed something green peak out. She dug it out to reveal a pair of long emeralds. Cheerilee took them out, placed them on both sides of Arc’s broken leg, and tied them together to immobilize the leg. “There! This way, you won’t hurt your leg more on accident.” “Thanks Ms. Cheerilee. That was very nice of you…” “It’s… no problem. And please Mr. Arc, you can call me Cheerilee. The ‘Miss’ part makes me sound old.” “It’s a deal only if you call me Static instead of Mr. Arc.” said Static Arc. The two of them chuckled. “First name basis then? I’m beginning to understand what’s going on here…” wondered Cheerilee. “What are you talking about?” “This is just one giant hoax you’re putting on to ‘try and get the girl’ huh? I mean, that picnic and this huge tunnel and your ‘broken leg’? You’ve gone farther to impress me than any other stallion before!” She must be joking right? She’s very intelligent, that’s for sure, so I’ll just go with that. “So you like it eh? It took me months to dig out those tunnels and set everything up perfectly. You should have seen how hard it was for me to set up the picnic trap.” This made Cheerilee smile. “I can only imagine! So is this the part where you save me in heroic fashion and we live happily ever after?” “As soon as I fix my pretend broken leg, Cheerilee.” That statement made both of them laugh again, but it also underscored the real trouble they were in. They didn’t know who was holding them captive, and they didn’t know for what, either. Static Arc saw the concern on Cheerliee’s face and tried to get her mind off the situation. “So Cheerilee! I have another question for you…” “Yes?” “You said that you always try to look at everything in a positive way.” “I did.” “Then how come you, um, weren’t so ‘positive’ when we were on our date?” Cheerilee was silent. It was obvious she was trying to find the right words to say. “I think it’s time I tell you the truth about that, seeing how we’re in this pickle. I was mostly honest when I said I try to be cheerful with everything, but there’s just one thing about life I dread…” I hope it isn’t what I think it is… Cheerilee continued, “I had a nasty experience with a stallion, back in school. He was my boyfriend, but in reality, we were just trying to fit in with the crowd at the time since everypony had a special somepony, a pressure thing. Long story short, we were completely incompatible, other than the fact that we thought the other was ‘hot’. The worst part was…” She paused for a moment to try to push back her tears. “No. Never mind. Forget I said that part. All you need to know is I never wanted a relationship after that. I figured I’d be able to have a family anyways, with my students.” While Static Arc sat there listening to her story, he couldn’t help but feel very bad for Cheerilee. Something horrible happened to her in her past, and yet she was still cheerful with her life. This beautiful, intelligent, kind, and cheerful mare was way more complex than what he had thought. It was incredible to Arc that she could suppress that dark history of hers, and still be what she is today. “I’m… so sorry you feel that way Cheerilee…” Arc started tearing up himself, “I don’t want you to have to relive that memory. Let’s just… try and focus on something else.” “What should we do instead?” “How about something productive, such as getting out of here!” (OOC: Before I post part two, you must come up with an escape plan to get out of your imprisonment. (OOC: this is part 2. Since I could not access your google document, I have to withhold the Epilogue where you see where the two of you end up. As soon as I can see the doc, I'll post the rest. EDIT: I see the doc. Give me a second) "Dear Applejack My name is Dawnpath, The little white pegasus writer Who seems to think the world of you Even though he's not a fighter. I can guarantee that you Make more bits than me, If money was most important Would writing be for me? No, what's most important Is the way your hips sing, The way your prid sings, The way your heart rings. What's important is that your eyes shine, Because that means your heart's fine, That's what you mean to me; It's why my heart's fine. You say you want me honest, Your the first to want this want. By the end of this poem, My honest light, you'll have got. I'm not (Change voice to sophisticated) a sophisticated gentleman, Who's muscles match his tongue, The idiocy of the highlight Burns his brain into nubs. I'm not (Fancy warmonger southern accent) a returnin' soldier, Though I am a loyal colt And have the honor to match him, I walk a different road. I know I'm not an athlete, Round one of apples can say It's my brain that is my pride, It's with words that I must play. I do not fit my little mold, I have no 'pegasus edge.' I won't ever have the strength with which I'll buck to meet your ledge. (He means level of which you apple buck. Someponies get confused with my terminology) But let me tell the difference Between me and other colts; I'll try, and try, and try, (Here he puts emphasis, and the text is darker) And hope that maybe someday I can work right at your side. Because I need the sunshine That plaits your main with gold. And I need that smile, I swear it won't get old. Because I need the green-eyed-mare, Who sparkles with her pride, Because I need the apples that Reside along your thighs... Can you start to see it? Can you truly see? I gave my heart to you. Will you give your heart to me?" He looked at the ground as he finished, blushing. You could've pulled that off better. Maybe you should've stuck with something less strong... But she asked for the truth! Anything less strong was not true to myself, and not fair to her. Besides, that other one was bad and you know it. That silly island poetry is way too short to encompass my emotions, and to broad to be clear. This was the best option. I only hope... Well, at least she knows how I feel about her. At least I know, I couldn't have tried harder. “You better listen here fast, ‘cause I’m only gunna say this once!” I knew it. I went overboard and now she never wants to see me again. AJ continued, “I never get sentimental with other ponies that aren’t in my family, hay, not very often with them neither! But that there poem you wrote for me made things very clear as polish on an apple. It’s time for me to stop being closed off to others. I may be honest with everypony, but that’s because I hardly share my feelings in the first place. What I’m tryin’ to say is, I think I finally understand what the hubbub is about with this thing called ‘Love’. I feel it coming for you, your poem, and… from… me.” “I…. I-I don’t know what to say Applejack. My mind is still trying to process what you just said! Are you saying what I think you’re saying?” “I don’t know what I’m saying, quite frankly. This is something totally new to me! I think I remember Twilight telling me something about it. Have you heard of the Magic of Friendship? Well, Twi was saying how there also exists the Magic of Love, and it can help you see things more clearly.” “You see things more clearly? How so?” “Dawnpath, I think…” Applejack paused for a few moments. She started to cry very softly to herself before she could continue. “I-I… I think I love you. Your poem is flooded with pure truth and honesty that I can’t describe it, other than it touched my heart like magic.” “I… love you too Applejack. The more I think about this, the more it makes sense to me. There was no chance in heaven that my poem could have floated to you on accident. Also, all those restaurants we passed by, what are the chances that we were going to pick Sugarcube corner over all of them? If we hadn’t gone to Sugarcube Corner, I doubt you would have told me your apple orchard problem, and I wouldn’t have been able to help. It was the Magic of Love that made all that happen! Fate has literally brought us together.” Applejack was crying more freely now. She knew they were supposed to be together and that a greater magic was watching over them. She then said, “So what do we do now?” “First, I make and post that ad for you, and then we can find out together,” said Dawn in a very loving tone, "and when we do discover what we do next, I promise to make every commitment I made in that poem, for better or for worse." Epilogue “Come on, you can do it!” said Applebloom. “Buck it harder than you’ve ever bucked before!” Dawnpath had been working out his hind legs all summer in order to buck trees in one hit just like AJ does. “Okay, here I go!... *WAM!*” As soon as he bucked the tree, every apple came falling down into the buckets surrounding the tree. “Woo hoo!” cheered Applebloom, “You finally did it Dawn!” “Don’t celebrate too soon Applebloom!” said AJ. “It looks like you missed one!” Applejack pointed at the very top of the tree where an apple was still hanging on its stem. “Ow, OW!” yelled Dawnpath in pain. “I think I hurt my wings bucking really hard! OW!” Dawn was flat on his stomach in pain. “Can you get the apple for me Applejack?” “Huh? But you’re hurt! You need help!” “No, please AJ, get the Apple, trust me!” “Applebloom, get the first aid kit from the barn, I guess I have to get this apple.” AJ gave an effortless kick to the tree to get the apple to fall down. “So why did I have to get this apple?... Wait a minute…” Applejack knew something was odd about this piece of fruit. It had something inside it, something like a small object. “Crack it open!” said Dawnpath, who clearly wasn’t in pain anymore. She did what he asked her by biting into the Apple, exposing a small box. She opened it to reveal a Apple shaped ruby on top of a gold ring. “What’s this thing? Wha…. No way! Are you…?” Dawnpath was no longer flat on his stomach. Instead, he was on one knee and said, “Applejack, even though we’ve only known each other for 5 months, I have never been so sure about something in my life. During that time, I haven’t worked this hard in my life either. All the business we’ve received, and also all the book signings I’ve had to go to from my novel, is minuscule in comparison to the importance of the question I’m about to ask you. And because I love you so much, I am just going to ask you right here, right now in the middle of the orchard. Will you marry me?” Applejack gave a simple smile, tilted her head and said, “If I said no, I wouldn’t be honest, would I?”

(OOC: This is part 1 of 2. Please read the bottom note after reading it before you give your response.) Dawnpath X Applejack It was a clear day at Sweet Apple acres, perfect for harvesting apples. Applejack started working at 5:30 that morning in order to get a jump on her chores for that day. There were many trees to tend to and a lot of other work to be done around the farm before AJ could retire. Unfortunately for Dawnpath, he didn’t know this when he offered to help that day. Dawn and AJ worked from 5:30 to 12 o’ clock noon just kicking trees in order to pick off the apples. Dawnpath never worked harder in his life, but to him, it was all worth it. He had a crush on Applejack and was willing to do almost anything to get her attention. As they worked, the two of them didn’t talk very much because of the intensity of the job. Finally when lunch arrived, Applejack mercifully let Dawnpath stop because he was incredibly tired. “This is pretty hard work, ain’t it? This is why we don’t hire many ponies to help us do our work, because there aren’t many ponies out there in shape like the Apple family is. Don’t get me wrong though, I really appreciate your work.” Dawnpath, who collapsed on the ground, saw the number of trees Applejack bucked compared to how many he had bucked. The number wasn’t even comparable, however, Dawnpath knew AJ wouldn’t say she appreciated him if it wasn’t true. "Honestly, I've never done something this hard in my life. But it gets me away from the writer's bench, which could be good or bad," said Dawnpath, pointing to his quill-and-paper cutie mark on his hip, “It could be what I need to get out of the writer's block I've had for a week. With my deadline coming up, well... let’s just say that very little bit counts. Funny story; after I met with you yesterday, I actually did manage to write something, but it blew out of the window.” At this point, Dawnpath had stood up to talk with AJ eye to eye, but when he mentioned the paper he wrote for her blew away, he looked down at the ground and kicked some dirt to show his frustration. What Dawnpath couldn’t see though, was Applejack’s smile. Dawnpath continued, “Which reminds me, I got you a cake yesterday to say thank you for talking with the silly pony who randomly walked up to you.” When Dawn opened up his saddlebag to reveal the cake, he realized that he had forgotten to take it off before working. He blushed and said, “Well, it WAS fresh, but I kinda forgot to take it out before bucking… it’s okay if you don’t want to eat it.” Applejack smiled again because of the obvious attempts at trying to get her to like him. She didn’t know what was cuter, the cake he wanted to give to her or how red Dawn’s face was from blushing. AJ said, “Heh. That's awful nice of you! Thank you very much. We should eat this together for lunch along with some of the apples we’ve harvested.” Dawnpath accepted her offer, and the two of them laid down underneath the shade of a big apple tree. Dawn pulled out the cake again while AJ bucked the tree lightly so two apples would fall off. As Applejack and Dawnpath began to eat their lunch AJ also began to spark a conversation. “About that ‘funny story’ you mentioned earlier, you know, the one about the thing you wrote for me that blew out the window? Well, what if some random Mare happened to read it?” Dawnpath replied, “Um, let’s just say it would be embarrassing because I signed my name on it, and I addressed it to you… I hope it landed in the river and dissolved for no pony to see.” “Embarrassing, you say? What did you write in it that you don’t want anypony to see?” “It was just a poem I wrote for you. Nothing that serious I guess.” Applejack stared with a smile at Dawnpath for a moment before speaking again. “Now, what if that random Mare that happened to find your poem was me?” Dawnpath eyes perked up, as if to say, ‘Did you?’ AJ then proceeded to read the note she found on accident. “If this doesn’t sound too serious, stop me. *ahem*, ‘Applejack There's a mare that lives near Ponyville, She has a lovely smile, And here I've seem to fallen for Her simple country style. We haven't really talked much, Just a couple silly lines, But in that exchange I noticed that She's honest, trusting, and kind. I wish I was a unicorn So I could paint her face, Anything less than magic Won't portray her poise or grace. I'm not sure she'll see much in me, Or anything at all, But if she'll have me, I'll make sure she never falls. Signed, Dawnpath’” Dawn just sat there, covering his head waiting for a swift kick to the head. Of all ponies, Applejack was the one to read it? Thought Dawnpath. This is just my luck I guess… If I would have given it to her on purpose, she wouldn’t think it was creepy! I have to own up to my mistake and apologize… wait… why hasn’t Applejack hit me yet? AJ said, “Um, are ya done duckin’ for cover? The sky ain’t fallin.’” Embarrassed, Dawn stood up and quickly replied, “Yeah yeah, I knew that, I was just thinking about if somepony else would have read it, this would have been even more awkward… yeah.” “Only if you say so!” said Applejack, biting into another piece of the cake. “So you don’t think it’s creepy AJ?” “Creepy? Why in the world would I think this was creepy? I haven't heard of a single pony that could be so up front with what they thought about another pony. I always wished somepony could write a paragraph about what they honestly thought about me, and here it is! I know this isn’t a hoax because that paper got here on accident. Whether it be fate or dumb luck, I don't care. This means a lot, Dawnpath.” She liked my poem. I've known her for less than a day and she likes my poem. I'm not getting bucked in the face. What do I say to this? She’s not saying that she likes me back, but she’s also not saying that she doesn’t, either. What to do, what to do! “You’re welcome, Applejack. I really did mean every word of it, but to tell you the truth, I don’t think you’d want anything to do with me…” “Why is that?” “Isn’t it obvious? I’m like the complete opposite of you. You labor hard for a living, I write stories all day. You are fit and in shape, all I do is scribble with my quill. You are outgoing and friendly, I am shy and quiet. I think the only thing I have in common with you is being honest, which I’m sure you are better at. You deserve much, much better…” It's true, she deserves better. somepony who really can treat her like a princess, a pony who can protect her from anything. A pony that could get her what she wanted, be able to spend time with her, and make her smile every day. A nice, broad, beautiful smile. “Hey. Now what just a hairy minute!” said Applejack while using her hoof to lift Dawn’s chin up. “Just 'cause I like the truth don't mean you should put yurself down! And let me give you a hint at dating mares, don’t be actin’ all down on your luck, because who knows,” Applejack paused for a second to make eye contact with Dawnpath, “you may be more lucky than you think!” He didn’t know what to think Applejack’s words just then. Was she honestly just giving him advice, or was she inferring something? As a writer, Dawnpath could usually pick up on hints like this very well. He figured he would take a chance on that notion by asking her on a real date. “So maybe I’m lucky right now? I mean, I know I’m lucky because you got my poem by pure chance, but maybe I can capitalize on that luck by taking you out to a nice restaurant? And maybe we can walk along the river and watch the moon and stars?” “If you put it that way, perhaps you do have a little luck!” said Applejack in a sensitive tone. “Where should we go?” “Heh. I’m still kinda thinking on the spot here. Um, what about tomorrow at 5 we meet by the Town hall and we search for a nice place to eat here in Ponyville?” “I think I’d like that. I’ll meet you tomorrow at 5, and in the meantime, I’ll let you off the hook from work for the day. Don’t worry about payin’ for my meal either, it’ll still be a date just the same. See you then, okay?” Dawnpath couldn’t contain his excitement. She’s giving me a real shot? Oh boy… I really have to pull out all the stops on this one. In response to Applejack, he said with a huge smile, “I-I can’t wait! See you tomorrow AJ!” Dawn wanted to give AJ a hug before he left, but Applejack was already turning around. Dawnpath watched as Applejack walked away. Everything about Applejack was beautiful to him everything from her mane to the way she walked. Her flank moved from side to side slightly as she moved her hind legs forward. The apples for her cutie mark perfectly complemented the size and shape of her plot. As her mane and tail swayed back and forth in the light wind, he couldn’t stop himself from literally drooling because she was so beautiful. Good thing she didn’t see that. I’ve got a big day ahead of me, I better prepare! For the next 28 hours, Dawnpath planned and prepared in every way he thought could help his chances with Applejack. He wrote draft after draft of many different poems. He bought the best suit for the date he could buy. He rehearsed all the possible compliments he could give her for the date. He even researched clever trivia about Apples he could share with her, just in case. The night before the date, he could hardly get any sleep. Dawn was so worried that he’d screw up somehow, that he tried to play out the entire date in his mind. Should I be outgoing, or play it safe and be quiet? Which poem should I share with her? What cologne should I spray on, if any? Should I plan out a restaurant or just see where we go? It finally came time to meet Applejack by town hall. He had never done this much planning for one event in his life. The time was 4:45, and it takes about 15 minutes for him to fly from his Cloudsdale home to Ponyville. He grabbed his poem, the flowers he picked, and his suit to wear on the date. On the way to Ponyville, Dawnpath started to worry again. What have I gotten myself into? If this date doesn’t go well, I don’t want to think about what AJ will say at the end… No, I can’t worry about it now, I need to focus! Dawn finally made it to the town hall at exactly 4:58. There was still no sign of Applejack yet, but he wouldn’t be concerned until it was well past 5. Just like clockwork, Dawnpath saw her in the distance. As she got closer and closer to town hall, he noticed more things about appearance. She was wearing a very lovely orange checkered shirt that was tucked into itself to give a very cowgirlish look on Applejack. Her hat was made out of a special type of leather only used for special occasions. The boots she wore was also made of the same slick leather, along with spurs to make it even more cowgirlish. Her mane and tail was washed, brushed, and braided very carefully and professionally. Lastly, she wore a skirt made of an apple pattern with red and white plaid. Overall, Applejack looked absolutely stunning. Not only was Dawnpath speechless, but everypony that was around at the time was also gawking at her. She was ‘dressed to kill’, as Dawnpath once read in a book long ago. Whether it was her intention or not, Applejack was the center of attention that evening in Ponyville. Everypony is staring at AJ right now, and she’s all mine tonight… Now I REALLY can’t screw up! “Howdy!” greeted AJ. Dawnpath tried to compliment her, “You look… amazing Applejack. It must have taken you forever to get ready!” AJ smiled, “Naw, I just have these clothes in my closet for things like this, plus my little sister Applebloom is very good at doing my hair. Thanks for noticing though!” How do I tell her how I feel without seeming pushy? My emotions are running wild just looking at her! “Applejack, I feel like the luckiest pegasus in the world right now. Th-thank you for joining me tonight!” “Don’t mention it!” exclaimed AJ, “So where should we eat?” “Let’s take a walk and decide together, there’s at least a dozen places to eat here in Ponyville.” The two of them started to wander through the town and looking at the menus each place displayed out front. “The Garden Eatery looks good,” said Applejack, “but the wait for a table is very long! Let’s look elsewhere.” “How about here?” asked Dawnpath, “there’s no wait at all on the restaurant across the street.” Applejack looked at the menu and shook her head. “Do you really want to eat their sea weed based food though?” Dawn took one look at the menu and threw up in his mouth. He hated sea weed with a passion, but he also didn’t want to seem too opinionated either. “They do sea weed here? *cough cough… ahem* yeah, we can do better than that.” Both of them kept searching throughout Ponyville. Restaurant after restaurant they couldn’t find a place to eat. Either the wait was too long, or the menu was horrible. There was no middle ground. Applejack was disappointed. “Geesh, I had no idea Ponyville had a nightlife like this.” “I didn’t know either,” Dawnpath said sadly, “half of these places have disgusting dinner menus. It’s as if they’re trying to copy Canterlot’s ‘fancy’ foods.” “Welp, what should we do now?” “I do have a backup plan,” said Dawnpath reluctantly, “but I think we’re going to be over dressed a bit.” “What did you have in mind?” “It’s not really a ‘restaurant’ but I think you’ve been there plenty of times. How does Sugarcube corner sound? Maybe they have some normal food if we ask them nicely?” After Applejack said it was okay to go there, Dawn started to get worried. So far, not so good. We’ve already spent half an hour just looking at places to eat! And now the best I can do is Sugarcube corner… Dawnpath opened the door for Applejack as they entered the store. Mrs. Cake was standing behind the counter. She said, “Why hello there Applejack! You two look nice! What’s the occasion?” “Howdy Mrs. Cake! We’ve ran into a bit of trouble on our date. You see, all the good places to eat are full, and we’re real hungry. Can you whip us up some dinner?”asked Applejack. Mrs. Cake wondered for a moment. “Hmm. I’ll have to see what’s in the kitchen but maybe I can cook a non-desert meal for the two of you with some ingredients I have. Hold on a moment.” The couple stood there in silence, waiting for Mrs. Cake to come back and tell them if she can cook anything. Applejack swung her front right leg back and forth while Dawnpath was trying to say anything to break the awkward moment. “Um, did you know that most apples can be grown farther north than most other fruits, because they blossom late in spring, minimizing frost damage?” “Oh… that’s pretty neat… I guess” said Applejack, obviously bored. Ah! How can I be so dumb to say something like that? This is getting bad. To Dawn’s fortune, Mrs. Cake came out of the kitchen saying that she can cook up a special fruit casserole if they’d like. Dawn was so relieved to hear this. “That would be perfect Mrs. Cake! We’ll sit here and wait.” said Applejack. The two of them sat down and waited for their meal to come. I have to revive this conversation again. But how? Dawnpath said the first thing that came to his head. “You know AJ, I really meant it when I said you look amazing tonight. This look fits you perfectly!” “Oh, thanks.” Applejack said, very briefly. Inside Dawn’s mind, sirens and red alerts were going off. I’m losing her! She’s not making contact and she’s not making conversation! I need to get to the bottom of this before it’s too late. “Is there something wrong Applejack? Why are you distant all of the sudden?” “Oh, it’s nothing you wanna hear.” “No, it’s totally fine. Please tell me!” “Are you sure? I don’t wanna worry you with anything.” “You can tell me anything. I’m here to listen.” “Okay… if you insist.” AJ straightened up in her chair and started to explain what was bugging her. “This morning, I got a visit from a banker up in Canterlot. It’s the same bank we financed our farm with. I’m not good with numbers or anything, but the banker said that our revenue isn’t good enough to keep up with the costs we got. I don’t know if anypony has told you this, but apples don’t sell the way they used to. Everything is about vegetables now or something, I’m not sure. “So the banker said that if we don’t gain more profits by the end of the year, we’re gunna get kicked off the farm! I can’t let that happen to my family. I’ve worked my heart out to provide for them, but now it looks like we ain’t got much time left…” Applejack tried her hardest not to cry in front of Dawnpath. Her pride was the only thing stopping her from doing so. A single tear escaped from AJ’s eye, and it slid down her face. This caused Dawnpath’s heart to break. He had no idea going into this date that such horrible news would be shared with him. Instantly, Dawnpath began to think of solutions in his head instead of being worried about the outcome of the date. “Maybe me and a few of your other friends can help buck more apples? You’ll earn more money if you harvest more apples, right?” AJ shook her head. “The banker said it’s not a matter of how many apples, but of how many people will buy them! Our sales have been suffering for a while now…” “Who’s ready for fruit casserole!” said Mrs. Cake who barged in the room. She quickly realized what was going on and said, “Oh…. I’ll just leave the plates on your table. You can leave the check on the table…” Applejack took a bite and continued talking. “I only have two buyers right now, Mrs. Cake and Mr. Filthy Rich, and he’s only a seasonal buyer.” “Don’t random ponies come to buy apples from you?” asked Dawn. “Yeah, here and there, but it’s not nearly enough to pay the bills. Apple cider season has already passed, so the revenue from those sales are gone already.” There has to be something I can do for AJ in order to help. But what?! If I can figure something out, I’ll not only be helping her, but also her family! Then it dawned on Dawnpath. He had the connections and the skills to help her after all. Maybe, just maybe he could help just enough to push the Apple family business into the green. “I’ve got an idea Applejack. And it won’t cost you a dime.” AJ looked at Dawnpath skeptically and asked, “What did you have in mind?” “I have a friend who works at the newspaper, ‘Equestria Daily’ which delivers papers to most cities in Equestria. He owes me a big favor, and I think with my unique writing skills, I can create a very good ad for him to put in the paper for everypony to see! I was going to use this favor to promote a book I was working on, but you need it more than I do.” Applejack’s jaw dropped. “Are you being absolutely honest with me? Even if you are, I can’t intrude on your book promotion!” “I know what you’re thinking Applejack. You almost never accept this kind of help from others, but trust me when I say you aren’t intruding. I can get this ad in the paper by next week, and in no time, everypony is going to want your amazing apples!” “But, I… I…” “Please AJ. Don’t do it for me, don’t even do it for yourself. Do it for your family and everypony who enjoys your apples!” Silence. By this time, the casserole was mostly eaten out of anxiety of the conversation. Normally it would take some heavy convincing for Applejack to receive charity like this, but she was desperate. Applejack finally said, “Alright. I’ll let you draw up the ad on one condition.” “What’s that?” asked Dawnpath. “Let me pay for the whole meal!” So AJ and Dawn left Sugarcube corner after paying, and they walked to the river to finish their date, as planned. AJ said, “I don’t know how to thank you Dawn… You’re very kind to be doing something like this for a Mare on her first date with you…” “You can thank me later if this ad works. Besides Applejack, you already know why I want to help you.” “I do? What do you mean?” “Don’t you remember the poem I wrote for you that you accidently found?” “I remember it, but I thought you were just being nice ‘n all.” Wait, she doesn’t know I like her? Is she that dense or is she just that innocent? I think this is a perfect time to share with her my poem, and maybe then she’ll understand how I feel. “Applejack, I wrote something another poem for you. It… might explain a lot. Here it goes.” While on top of a bridge over the river, Dawnpath pulled out his piece of paper, firmly grasped, and began reading it. (OOC: Here's your homework: and pay attention! You need to write the best poem you've ever written that describes your feelings for AJ in a romantic way. that's the first thing you need to do. The second piece of homework involves you creating an Ad for a newspaper that advertises Sweet Apple Acres and the amazing apples they have for sale. Good luck!) @,

(OOC: Here is part 2 of 2. It comes with an Epilogue, I really hope you enjoy it. I think I spent 3-4 hours on this for you!) “W-well, Octavia... the truth is... I... I love you! I can't hide that anymore, I realize that now! I've loved you ever since the first time I laid my eyes on you. You are just so beautiful, so sweet, so talented... all of the things that I'm not. I never would have expected that I would have gotten to even spend a day like this with you. At first, I half expected that you would turn me down, but... but you didn't! I was amazed that you would even spend time with someone like me. I'm not like any of your other friends that you spend time with, and yet... you saw something in me to trust me and spend the evening with me. And, during that time, it seems that I've fallen even more in love with you... Wow, just look at me say these things! You must hate me now, don't you? *sighs* I... I guess I'll leave now...” Tears started running down Ponydox’s face as he walked away. He figured she wouldn’t notice because of the rain, but at this point, he didn’t care either. In his mind, all hope was lost. She was the perfect mare! There is no pony in Equestria that can match the inner and outer beauty of Octavia! I’m going to die alone because I wasn’t man enough for Octavia… How could I even think I had a chance with her? Just when Ponydox was at his lowest, he felt somepony tap him on the back. When he turned around, he saw Octavia with the most incredible smile he’s even seen. “Didn’t you know it’s rude not to walk a lady home?” Before Ponydox could react, Octavia lunged at him and gave him a big, damp kiss. “And didn’t you know it’s rude not to let a lady respond? Now let me tell you my feelings.” What in the name of Celestia just happened? Thought Ponydox. Did I just die and go to heaven? Am I dreaming? “Of all the stallions I’ve dated, and I’ve dated quite a few, I have never in my days met someone as unrefined as you. You could never survive the high society socializing here in Canterlot. Every guy I’ve been with has always been ‘refined’, but also snobbish, self-centered, and arrogant. I never wanted to believe it at the time, but each stallion I’ve been with was only dating me as a status symbol. Sure they would treat me like a lady in public, but I was always ignored when we were alone. This is why I detest the ‘sophisticated’ life style, and that is why I moved in with Vinyl Scratch in Ponyville.” Ponydox was still in denial. He didn’t believe what his senses were telling him. His eyes were saying that Octavia has a look of love on him. He didn’t believe that. His ears were telling him that Octavia was never treated well. He couldn’t believe that. His nose was telling him that he could smell the pheromones Octavia was giving off was love. He wouldn’t believe that. The nerves in his lips were telling him that Octavia just kissed him passionately. He refused to believe that, and yet, there she was. “Because I was treated selfishly by my previous boyfriends, I told myself I would never date ever again. Then that fateful day when you asked me on this date, I knew right away something was different about you. My instincts were right, even if I didn’t give you a chance in the beginning.” She didn’t give me a chance?? “So this is what I think about you. You are unrefined, but you are also kind, funny, intelligent, genuine, and understanding. I don’t know your social class, but I don’t even care because what you’ve shown me today is something I thought never existed in stallions. Being a true gentleman! You stood up for me at the restaurant, you were willing to go on an adventure, and you saved us by pulling off that stunt back at the castle. If that’s not being a gentleman, I don’t know what is! And let me tell you something Ponydox, I love true gentlemen, and you are the only one I’ve ever met.” Octavia once again went in for the kiss, and the two of them lock lips for a whole minute before letting go. For those 60 seconds, it literally felt like Ponydox was floating on a cloud. Her slightly damp lips perfectly slide between his own. Dox knew that she had more experience than him, so he tried to keep up by moving his lips as well. Octavia used the tip of her tongue to touch his lower lip. She then slid her tongue left to right across his lip in a very sensitive way. Ponydox’s mind was blown at how this felt. All the doubts in his mind about this not being real were gone. Not even in my wildest dreams can this feel this good. Octavia then used her mouth to suck in the lower lip of Ponydox. Once his lip was in her grasp, she very lightly squeezed her teeth around it, and started to lick it even more. Wow… maybe later I can use this on her. I hope copying her is okay… To finish the kiss, Octavia cocked her head back a little to look into the eyes of Ponydox, then she gave him a 5 second peck to the lips. The two love birds stared at each other for another whole minute. Both of them cemented this moment in their minds through smiling, hugging, and holding hooves. Finally Octavia broke the silence, “Sooo… are you going to walk me home or what?” Ponydox replied, “Of course I’m going to walk you home, but it’s the ‘or what’ part that I’m wondering about.” Both Dox and Tavi laughed at his comment, and he proceeded to take the love of his life back to Ponyville.” Epilogue “… Happy birthday dear Viola! Happy birthday to you! Yay!” Ponydox and Octavia sang together to their daughter Viola who just turned one. Viola has a unicorn horn, but looks very similar to Octavia as time has gone by. “I’m glad she’s a unicorn, because it would be very hard for a pony to play this violin without magic!” Octavia gave Viola her present. Of course, she won’t be able to play it until she can use a special levitating spell, but Octavia thinks it’s never too early to start being around music. “It’s just what she wanted, I bet you anything.” Said Ponydox just as Viola was toying with it. “Thanks, I think so too, but I think I got some inspiration by our other child.” said Octavia, pointing to her pregnant belly. “You really think she spoke to you huh?” “I do! Mothers have intuition that fathers can’t understand.” “Right… so what are we going to call him? Tuba? Xylophone?” Knowing he was joking, Octavia lightly punched Ponydox in the shoulder. “I have no idea, but I think she is going to be a singer! That’s why I could hear her that one time!” Ponydox smiled. “You know what, that reminds me. I’ll be right back.” Dox left the room for a moment and came back with a wrapped gift. “I know our second anniversary isn’t until next week, but I wanted to give this to you now.” Octavia grabbed the gift, opened it up, and saw what was inside. “Oh… oh my! How did you find this?” said Octavia, instantly recognizing the present. “It took me forever to track this down. I thought they would have thrown this away, but thankfully Canterlot castle archives these kinds of things.” “This is the ticket I used for the two of us to enter Canterlot Castle… The night we got away from the guards and fell in love… Ha… it seems so long ago but I can remember it like it was yesterday!” “Me too, Octavia. I’ll never forget that night that I thought I lost you when I confessed my love. You were the only Mare for me in the whole world, I don’t know where I’d be if you didn’t catch up to me.” Octavia sarcastically commented, “Eh, I figured you were worth giving a second chance.” Both of them chuckled at her joke, just as Viola started to cry. Ponydox picked her up on his back to get her to stop. Once she calmed down, Ponydox caught Octavia staring at him. Dox then said, “Is there a problem?” Octavia walked up to him and said, “Yes there is. I think I love you too much!” She then pecked him on the lips and hugged him, after which Ponydox said, “Well, it looks like we both have that problem!” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIg8Vs-MVZA&feature=related

(OOC: I just finished part 1 of your fan fic Ponydox. Please remember that in the interest of time, I am only doing one draft of everyone's fan fic, so if the story reads unsmoothly, or if I make a narrating error/ spelling error, please forgive me. I will post part two of your fan fic once you read and respond to the fan fic. Enjoy!) Ponydox X Octavia Part 1 Everyone in the 5 star restaurant was staring at her. She had just done the unthinkable in a place where the high society of Canterlot expected peace and quiet as they ate their meal. Octavia was a minor celebrity among the citizens of Canterlot, so when she first entered the restaurant, everyone was already aware of her presence. This was not the unthinkable deed, however. About 2 minutes earlier, Octavia’s sophisticated demeanor cracked. Through the stresses of the day and expectations weighing down on her over time, Tavi’s true colors finally showed. “You know what Ponydox?? I'm tired of keeping this persona that I'm 'so sophisticated'! Even if we are dining here for free, let's ditch this joint. I'm tired of the 'fancy' lifestyle, and I'm tired of the 'fancy' words I have to use to seem rich. I don't care that I'm in my concert dress, I want to go on an adventure! Are you with me?” It was at this point everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at Octavia. Not only were they surprised, but they were concerned that perhaps her mystery date had something to do with it. Tavi stood on top of the table, waiting for her date, Ponydox, to respond. Dox was stunned for what seemed to be the longest moment in his lifetime. Finally he said, “W-wow... really, Octavia? I would have never known or guessed that you would want to do that... It's really rather impressive, shattering that mold that others have made for you! Yes! Let's go on an adventure! Let's go out there and explore the world! I'm up for anything as long as you want to do it, Octavia!” The words he chose to say absolutely flabbergasted the whole restaurant into murmuring with each other. As Octavia and Ponydox where leaving the building, they could hear the whispers, “Who is that with Octavia? He must have done something to make Octavia blow up!” “I just saw her at the concert, I thought she was just like us!” “How does a fancy mare like Octavia make a scene like that?!” Despite all the neighsayers, none of the comments Tavi or Dox heard bothered them one bit. They were determined to have a true adventure. After they left the restaurant, Octavia spoke up again in her normal voice and tone. “That’s… exactly what I needed to hear Ponydox. Your are really understanding. I have a bucket list of things I’ve always wanted to do but never had the chance. Should we do sky diving, Dragon surfing, castle snooping, party crashing, or some Pranking? Or maybe you have a better idea? What should we do?” Ponydox was in absolute awe. Here was a magnificent pony he just met a few days ago, standing in front of him asking if he wanted to go on an adventure with her. When Dox did finally meet Octavia, he had to summon up all his courage to ask her on a date. She was literally walking away from him when he did it, and he had no idea what the outcome would be. Octavia said yes, in a manner of speaking, because Dox asked her to attend a concert with him that Octavia actually was performing in, unknown to him at the time. Then in a unpredictable turn of events, Ponydox’s night with Octavia completely changed for the better. Ponydox smiled and said, “Well, a few of the things that you suggested caught my attention. I've always wanted to go into the castle and look around a bit, so castle snooping doesn't sound too bad. Oh, and perhaps while we're there, the Princesses could be throwing a party, so if that happens, we could knock two of those things on your list out at once and crash that party! And as for pranking... *gives a sly smile* There's a certain blue pegasus in Ponyville that needs a taste of her own medicine, I think. Well, which do you think we should do first, Octavia?” Tavi’s face lit up. “You really want to do this with me? You weren’t trying to save face at the restaurant? This is very kind of you. I’m… I’m ready to do this! I’m nervous, but ready!” The two of them made their way to the castle where the Concert afterparty was still going. Octavia commented, “You know, I still have that ticket for that party we didn’t go to because we wanted to go to the restaurant. We can get into the castle that way.” When a member of the royal guard stopped the two of them at the castle, Octavia showed him a ticket, and let them pass. If they were to attend the party, they would have gone into the ball room where the festivities were taking place. Instead, Tavi and Dox wandered around the castle looking for a way to ruin the party full of snobs. They walked room after room around the castle, and couldn’t figure a way to crash the party. Ponydox said, “Geesh, this castle is huge! There has to be a way to do this somewhere.” Dox walked into another room, only to find the fifth parlor they’ve run into. Octavia shrugged her shoulders and said, “You know, maybe castle snooping isn’t as fun as I had hoped… Let’s take a break for a while, we can crash the party later because it goes all night.” Ponydox agreed and the two of them sat on a couch in the parlor. To Ponydox’s surprise, neither of them were talking even though they were chatting it up while trotting around the castle. To him, it looked like Octavia was thinking deeply about something. He didn’t know what it was, but for some reason he was to afraid to ask. Instead, Dox found himself staring at Octavia. She is a very unique kind of beauty. Tavi had the appearance of one in a million, which made her a popular musician around Equestria. As attractive as Octavia is, her talent is even more incredible. Some say she is only the concert master of the Canterlot Symphony because of her looks, but anyone who hear her perform will quickly forget that notion. This is what intrigued Ponydox about Octavia, and why he was staring at Octavia at that moment of silence. Finally, Octavia caught Ponydox looking at her and asked, “Is there a problem?” Ponydox shook himself out of his trance and quickly replied, “Oh! Um, no, its nothing.” “Oh come on, you were staring at me! You can tell me, it’s quite alright.” Said Octavia, reassuring. “Well, I don’t know if I should tell you right now…” “If you’re not sure, then maybe I can tell you something?” “Okay, what is it?” “I was just thinking while we were sitting here, why did you ask me of all ponies on a date? What I mean is, I just so happened to pass by when you started to talk to me. What makes me so special?” Octavia hit the nail on the head. The answer to her question was the exact thing he was hesitant to say just a few seconds earlier. Ponydox thought for a moment before answering. The last thing he wanted was for Octavia to think he was a stalker, but he also didn’t want to lie either. “I’ll be honest with you Octavia, and I hope you don’t think any less of me, but I’ve sort of…” Dox paused. He really didn’t want to ruin this night they were having by pouring out his feelings on the first date. During this pause, he knew he had already gone past the point of no return. He had to finish what he was saying. Finally gathering up the courage he had, Ponydox said, “What I mean is, I sort of…” *BAM* Two guards barge through the door of the parlor. “What are you two doing here? You are in a private part of the castle and are trespassing!” Dox and Tavi were busted. The guards found them and they were going to most likely arrest the two of them. Octavia had her hooves over her head, most likely because she had never been in this kind of trouble before. Ponydox on the other hoof, immediately came up with a plan that could possibly get them out of trouble. Dox stood up, and told Tavi, “Follow me!” just as he used a magical spell to trip both guards. Before the guards could get up and chase them, Ponydox and Octavia ran away in order to get out of the castle. “Keep running!” Panted Ponydox. Both of them ran and ran down the stairs of the castle and through the hallways between the rooms. 5 minutes of straight running passed when the two of them finally had the exit in sight. The problem was, they had to go through the ball room where all the guards and guests were congregated. “Just keep running!” Ponydox said again. Before entering the ballroom floor, they had to run down the famous grand stairs where everyone in the room can see. As soon as they were on the stairs, every guard in the room recognized that they were the intruders. Dox and Tavi ran through the crowds of ponies, trying to weave their way between them. Dox looked up and saw six guards flying above, ready to strike once they had a clear shot. Thinking quickly, he decided to run on top of the long stretch of rectangular tables where the finger foods were being held. Dox then used his magic, picked up all the food he could, and started to throw dishes and hors d'oeuvres. This have the two of them just enough time to hold the guards off for their escape. They ran outside, ran past the gates, and went into the night. Fortunately, it was raining very heavily to the point that visibility was very poor and the guards couldn’t find them. The two of them started stood there in a dim part of the street trying to catch their breath while getting soaked. A moment later, both of them started to laugh, realizing how they just got out of trouble. Octavia said, “Well, it looks like we managed to crash that party, huh?” Ponydox chuckled some more. Octavia continued, “Thanks for saving us with that food throwing back there. I’m not sure we would have got away if you hadn’t done that.” Blushing, Ponydox replied, “Oh it was nothing. It’s all part of the adventure, right?” “It is part of the adventure,” said Octavia, “that was very silly and very heroic at the same time. Well, now that we have a chance to talk again, what were you going to say before we were interrupted?” Dox froze. It was only a mere 10 minutes ago that he was about to confess his feelings, and he had already forgot during their mad dash out of the castle. “Oh yeah, that. Um…” This is it. Thought Ponydox. It’s now or never. “I’ve actually seen you around a lot, Octavia. We’re both from ponyville, but I we haven’t officially met before I asked you on this date. Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I developed somewhat of a crush on you. You should have seen how nervous I was when we first talked! I thought I was going to die by butterflies…” Octavia stood there for a moment, not saying anything while the rain continued to pour down on her mane. She was expressionless as she looked at Dox. The only word she used to respond was, “Why?” Ponydox’s heart sank. This was possibly one of the worst reactions he could have received after he confessed his feelings for her. After all they went through together that night, all she had to say was ‘why’. Ponydox thought to himself again. She doesn’t like me… Why did I have to jump the gun and tell her on the first date? I lost the best chance of my life with the mare of my dreams. What do I say now? “Why was I nervous, you ask?” said Ponydox, trying to remain cool. “No, not that. I could tell you were nervous the second I saw you! What I mean is, why do you like me?” This gave Ponydox a little hope. Maybe she does like me? Maybe all she needs to know is why I like her and she’ll reciprocate the feel? It’s worth a shot… I just hope I’m not wrong. (OOC: Here's your last chance to impact the story. Tell Octavia why you like/love her. Don't hold back! The more emotional and "D'aww" moments you have in your response, the better outcome you will have in the end. Pour your heart out!!)

It will work. It gives me more room to write as well
-
Okay. I am writing your Fan Fic right now. Just so everyone knows, the fics that I am writing will be mainly one sided, meaning you will have no baring on the plot turns. I hope I capture your thought process and decision making correctly, but if I get it wrong, please don't be mad Even if I do happen to screw up, I promise the ending will be satisfying.
-
Actually, I recognize you very well! There's only a group of about 20 or 30 or so members I can think of off the top of my head, and you're one of them That's if they remember me. There will be many new members before I return and once I post my return thread, it'll be an after thought for most people. I'm okay with that though. I hope your still around to see me return!

I have something in mind for you that you're going to like. Let's just say it involves Twilight in a separate, but identical, universe as Mal is. As far as taking over roleplaying, yeah, it will be a sacrifice because s/he can't continue to date their LI... It sucked for me because I really wanted to be roleplayed, but that's not how it works. Perhaps there can be one person that roleplays for the heir, but that's up to you guys. #1. Your fan fic will pick up where we left off from the last post of yours. I'll most likely refer to previous events and choices you've made before, but the actual story won't backtrack. #2. Thanks for posting your OC. Anyone can do that if they want, but its not necessary because I already kinda know everyone's personality and choice tendency.

What would your perfect girl/boy friend be?
My little pwny replied to Skullbuster's topic in General Discussion
I normally try to avoid 'girl of my dreams' kind of threads, but I think its finally time I think of it. Here's a list of characteristics I'd like her to be, but it doesn't have to be perfect, or even close for that matter. I'll highlight the ones she must be. -Attractive (beauty in the eye of the beholder, mind you) -Critical thinker -Politically knowledgeable -Likes kids -Easy going -Independent -Hard working -Like sports -Patient -Like cuddling/physical touch -Can cook -Like My Little Pony There's more that I can't think of right now, but anything else would be the cherry on top if she was already all these things.
