    hehe thank you so so much!! i also feel the same, characters that grow and mature over long periods of time often catch my attention! it makes them so much more life like and easy to connect and relate to!

    scoots! this was a more somber piece, as Scootaloo's character and development has always been something i admired in the series. this was particularly inspired by 'Flight To the Finish' but i decided to also make an alternate cutie mark version (which could also symbolize it being a lifelong struggle and road to acceptance, feel free to interpret however you want!)

    honestly, i think it comes from the fact that i started out drawing other things like dogs and cats! so things like fluff, fur, long snouts and big ears all kinda come from that! plus, i think that it often adds to the design and makes it look a little more lifelike! i also love marshmallow ponies though! and thank you so much!

    Derpy/Muffins!! (whatever you wanna call her, our beloved bubbles and muffins gal!) also if the background looks familiar, its because it is! its the same background in my applejack piece! (originally i drew it for this, but smushed and redid some aspects for the other piece! so heres the original background and its piece in its full glory!)
