So, I thought, "Huh, a lot of people headcanon different songs as the themes for Creepypastas, I wanna do that!" And here it is! Part one of two! Jeff - (Obviously) Sweet Dreams (Marilyn Manson cover) Reasoning: I have none, it's literally been his theme song since his inception into internet culture, so it's obviously going to stick around as his theme. Homicidal Lu- Mad Hatter by Melanie Martinez Reasoning: I mostly attribute the lines in the chorus to his character, specifically the line about being "the craziest friend that you've ever had," which I'm probably going to personally reference within my friend and I's story as a quote. The other line in the chorus I attribute to him is "You think I'm psycho, you think I'm gone" as his victims seem to look at him like he's out of his mind (which, I mean, kinda?) The other two lines that work for him are "We paint white roses red, each shade from a different person's head," as he usually uses 'we' in reference to his personalities, and also...murder. And a line near the end of the song that goes something like "And I think you're crazy too, I know you're gone, it's probably the reason that we get along," which would fit for his and Jeff's familial relationship and how they haven't murked each other yet. Laughing Jack- Boogie Woogie Wu, Insane Clown Posse Reasoning: Uhhh, mainly because it's a crude and goofy song, and it has "clown" in the bandname, not much reasoning there. Eyeless Jack- Come Little Children (Y'know the one from Hocus Pocus, you may not know but there's a full version) Reasoning: Due to my characterization of EJ being a protector of those lost in the woods, this song would fit him as it sounds like a lullaby, fitting his motherly character in my AU. I feel as though my version of EJ would guide lost souls of those who had died in the woods, probably children, hence the song title. Then again, maybe the song has some dark arse connotations I'm not aware of... Ticci Toby- Oh No by Marina and the Diamonds Reasoning: The whole song has Toby vibes written all over it, some lines that fit really well with my iteration are: "I know exactly why I walk and talk like a machine," He works for Slenderman and really has no time to be himself or show interest in much else but obtaining souls for Slender (he eats souls of the innocent). He's stuck with a brave face to do whatever Slender says, can't (or won't rather) show his other emotions for fear that his boss will punish him. "I'm now becoming my own self fulfilled prophecy," He's sealing his own fate and he has no idea how to stop it because Slender took away all of his memories of before the Manor and the Proxy Initiative, everything he does just tightens Slender's grasp on what's left of his life. "One track mind, one track heart, if I fail, I'll fall apart," He can't do anything else for very real fear of punishment by Slender, he has to keep his weary mind on the task before him or face consequences for barely stepping out of line, Toby is scared of doing something stupid, so he tries to think about nothing. "Don't do love, don't do friends, I'm only after success," Toby just wants to do what Slender says, believing that showing love will get him into trouble, his only source of showing love is to his hatchet, and also due to his issues, developed an unhealthy attachment to said object. And his only friend is Ben, who was there since second grade, which is the only original memory Slender left him, even the memory of the fire he set to his house was scrambled, because Slender has the ability to change memories. Even his brother X-Virus, or Cody, as Toby calls him since it is his real name, is shoved aside in favor of obeying Slender, giving their relationship a real dent. Speaking of... X-Virus- Ready to Die, by Andrew WK Reasoning: I know it's Pinkamena's theme song thanks to Cupcakes HD, but screw it, the song fits for him too! *sigh* I need to get this off of my chest today, because I need y'all to realize just how much I am tired of this bullpucky. I was having a good time playing Smash Bros Ultimate on my Nintendo Switch with my Mom, my brother comes over to my Mom and she wants to do his skin care rountine, so I shut off the game and get ready to go upstairs. But...I linger, because I was finally going to give dying a strip of color in my hair a shot...On account of my very late goth phase, and I wanted to talk about it with my Mom beforehand, considering she has to pick up bleach for it sometime this week. I finally wanted to treat myself to something neat, and my brother started to muck it up again, "Shut up," "It's annoying when you talk," "Mom always takes your side when I try to joke with you," Blah, blah, fucking blah, more piece of shit excuses from someone who started to borderline hate me because he hangs out with little b*tch punks at school, despite his good friends being nice to me. His "jokes"? Telling me I smell like dogshit, calling me a fatass and a bigback, and telling me no one cares about what I say. Maybe I should just hide away my hobbies, never talk about Creepypasta, My Little Pony, Pokemon, Furbies, Littlest Pet Shop, Horror Movies, or my art and original stories ever again. Maybe I should just look like a fool with no personality and try not to be unique, fit in with the other asshole, brainrotted, Labubu obsessed kids in my school. What was the point of even existing anyways? And then they wonder why I hide in my room, because of my brother, because he won't shut his mouth for five minutes. I was having a peaceful night, and now I'm so pissed right now that I'm starting to wish Slenderman really was real, so I could run away into the trees by the baseball field and forget this whole embarrassing exchange. I'm sorry for my feelings, I'm sorry I have hobbies and hopes and dreams and have started to like the goth fashion sense. "Now I've awoken and I'm taking back control," I will prevail, this may be my fault for getting easily offended or some bull malarky like that, but I won't let him drag me down. I wish I could just stay in bed until spring, but I'm not a squirrel, I can't sleep that long.

Sooo, I did lore for Crowe, and AU Michael Afton, so I figured our next best thing to talk about will be Exelrus! Exelrus started out as a cringy attempt at a .EXE character, originally called Red.EXE, but recently he's been garnering his own lore. Exelrus grew into a demonic entity character rather than a split, evil personality of Red, his backstory used to be that he was created by Giovanni after breaking Red's psyche, but it was stupid so, ehh. Anyways, Exelrus is a demonic entity who took over the vessel of Red's body and used him to make the Pokemon characters of: Hop, Bede, Marnie (of Sword and Shield), and Scarlet (My OC/sona) mortal. (Also Scarlet is childhood friends with Red, and Marnie, Hop and Bede are her current friends) Basically making it so that they were truely alive and could bleed and die, then he hunted down each of them...Killing all four and taking their souls. Then he escaped into the real world and began to terrorize the mortals, acting as their waking nightmare, a demonic and eldritch monster, claiming that he is their "nightmare made flesh" and that all humans are foolish and insolent. He resembles Red from Pokemon, with blackened eyes with white pupils, black goop drips down from them, he has animal-like claws on his hands and bat like wings coming out from his back. He has shiny white sharp teeth that are often shown in a grin, or when he bites into his victims. His powers involve making non mortal beings mortal, flight, prying souls from victims bodies, and shapeshifting/taking the vessels of victims. He finds humor in killing and eating his victims, and enjoys doing what he does to his victims, breaking their psyches and driving them insane. And his true form, much like Mimikyu from Sun and Moon, will cause someone to go insane. Exelrus has no need for rest, and feels no remorse or love... Exelrus is incapable of love, but is capable of hatred and feeling pain, especially thanks to crosses, he also sometimes walks like an animal, on all fours. There's currently not much lore to this current iteration, but I hope y'all like him.
