  1. Much to my surprise, there's only two or three clips of this on YouTube, and they are all kind of rough. So, I created a presentation up to my own standards and am now sharing it. Btw, my channel is not monetized. It is a fan channel that gives free advertising to the franchises I love and I have no copyright strikes. Everything I host is known to the IP holders and they permit it to be shared. Spock and Nurse Chapel got into a zero gravity battle with a Gorn warrior on the bridge of a destroyed Starfleet vessel, during Hegemony, the season 2 finale of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. It is easily the most epic fight scene in the entire series so far and one of the most epic zero gravity fights I've ever seen. Star Trek hasn't really been scary in a very long time. The Gorn are scary, they are dark, they're A L I E N as they wanna be. I don't want this epic incident to slip through the cracks of the hive mind, so here it is, presented the way it deserves to be;
  2. Tonight I am feeling happy, because my project to celebrate Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon Day is off to a great start. July 5th is both a date to look forward to, and something I'm working very hard on simultaneously.
  3. Thank you for sharing these encouraging words. For someone who graduated the 8th grade 27 years ago, about twice as long as you've been alive, it's a nice thought to know that MLP still works its magic in ponies' lives, whether or not the internet is reporting on Bronyism as much as it used to. You're quite correct, the process of learning never ceases, and adults would do well to practice the lessons they try to teach their children. I'll tell you something else, you have nothing but time. Just try to find that calling and passion which will get you your cutie mark, if you haven't already, and then just throw yourself at whatever that is 1000% The next 8 to 15 years are gonna be the most exciting time of your life, use these years well, but don't forget to enjoy them. Learn and grow, but have fun and enjoy. You deserve to, and it's what we all want for you.
  4. I will be contributing something VERY special for Ly and BB this year, mark your calandars.
  5. I have achieved the Rank of Bird! Now I am a critter who can fly AND Fluttershy wants to sing with me! Bird is the last of the Critters Minor. Now I am working towards the rank of Phoenix...the pets of Princess Celestia, and more than able to thwart goofy juvenile dragons. The Phoenix is the first of the Critters Major.

      Congratulations, Bestie! :D

  6. Without a doubt, a Night Time Pony, and it is the same here in the human world.
  7. I had a job interview, it went very well, yay not being unemployed for much longer, maybe...
  8. Wondering why, after 4000 hours plus, I still even try to play the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim... Listening to the soundtrack makes me nostalgic for a past that ended long ago, as Bothela once so sagaciously put it. But actually playing the game now makes me crazy. All the new characters I create are weak die and too easily. All the characters I have in the 60's, 70's and 80's are too supermaxed out and there's nothing left to do. And no, I am not gonna play Elder Scrolls Online, #$%^ No!
  9. As so many other ponies have said, her honesty, Tell the truth and your problems will clear up. As so many other ponies have also said, AJ is probably the most correctly balanced of the Mane 6. Overlooking just a hint of periodic stubbornness, Applejack's down to earn mentality and penchant for plain English can clear up much confusion and tactfully address many elephants in the room.
  10. I didn't have to think long about this one. Suri Polomare, from Rarity Takes Manehatten (S4E8) Suri features prominently in a very, very small group of ponies who seem to have absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Suri seems to be a classic negligent psychopath. She uses her superficial charm to reconnect with Rarity briefly, all the while scanning to see if there were any possible advantages she could extract. When the fabrics presented themselves, she stole them without hesitation, used them as her own, and then later on tried to further discredit Rarity and ruin her aspirations of establishing her business in Manehatten. She was also clearly very nasty to Coco Pommel. It doesn't matter that she didn't do anything violent, she seems like an entirely rotten pony. And hey, if they had given her a redemption, I would have been fine with that, but I notice that the show writers didn't.
  11. I dislike Bats! (S4E7) a great deal. Mind you, Flutterbat is one of the most epically epic creatures ever to take flight in the skies over Equestria, but the way she came into the world was just wrong. Tends to be that way with vampires. But the Mane 6 were totally out of character. They were coming at the bats in an unfriendly manner and were being deliberately obtuse with Fluttershy. They knew she didn't want to use the Stare, and they forced it down her throat anyway. They barely seemed to recognize the gravity of their error by episode's end. I just think that if there had to be one botched episode, this would have to be it. I wish they could have found any other way to explain the origin of Flutterbat!
  12. yea, another Batman and Joker post, but...with a twist... which of them is truly a villain, and which is truly the hero? 0_o
  13. How is it that a song can be pure torture to listen to, while also being immensely catchy and impossible to turn off, all at once?
  14. I wasn't aware of this particular leak yet. I hope it's legit. I do not dislike the characters from Gen 5, that's not how it is, they just have a lot to learn. And, as bad as so many remakes, sequels and prequels have been, they probably oughta create some kind of Frankencanon of all MLP's most beloved characters. Maybe Clover can return from the mists of the past as the most clumsy vengeful villainess evar!
  15. U did WHAT with my Toothbrush!?!
  16. When the robot you're ordering smoothies from has a head made out of cardboard, but is still very much a piece of heavy machinery, there may be a price to be paid for overloading it to the point that it runs amok. Problem, Sheriff?
  17. I'm WAY too new to be famous, or to be anything more than an enthusiastic new face, still spamming up my post count by welcoming every other new pony in town and still only really finding my footing about which on-topic matters to even open my mouth about... That being said, I don't know how many other ponies have tried to find parallels between MLP FIM and Eastern Religions, or exactly how many other ponies are jingo spewing propagandists for the Canterlot regime. So while I'm not famous, I might be off the beaten path, maybe.
  18. Tonight I have been struck by the deeply troubling thought that the resemblance depicted below is disturbing...
  19. Responding to the OP; I started Gen 5 by watching the ANG Movie. I thought matters were off to a great start, minus killing off Argyle after the introductory sequence. But otherwise I liked it, and figured I'd be defending Gen 5 from its many haters. Then I watched a few episodes of Tell Your Tale, and very quickly realized that I'd better stop and switch to Make Your Mark. I read a few issues of the IDW Gen 5 comics. I am now getting to Chapter 6 of Gen 5, I have stopped reading any of the comics and I avoid Tell Your Tale like the plague, or in this case the migraine and seizure inducing sensory assault that it is. I find myself liking Gen 5 less and less, so now I am actually glad they pulled the plug. I have some Gen 5 merch, my Zipp Storm will always be a centerpiece of my collection, for example. She's easily my favorite Gen 5 pony, and easily the smartest of them all. I don't like the changes in characterization that set in with Make Your Mark. While in the ANG Movie, Sunny is no Twilight Sparkle, she is still curious, eager to learn and quick to stand up for what she believes in. And she does have clearly stated, strong beliefs in the movie. In both MYM and TYT, Sunny never takes the lead on anything, the series both simply happen to her. She's just kind of along for the ride. Yes, it is touching that Hitch Trailblazer is a Dragon Daddy, but it almost entirely prevents him from doing anything else, including his job. Izzy more or less stays true to her own nature throughout Gen 5, I suppose so does Pipp. Really, after the ANG Movie, the whole rest of Gen 5 can be summed up by the three screenshots below; - In the first one, Zipp Storm sees something anomalous that is concerning to her, but all of the other ponies are either telling her to chill out, or are too busy eating to even notice that something is up. - In the second one, they are all scary AF, looking like members of a nomadic California UFO cult. - In the third one, they had been behaving like greedy, sugar addicted pigs, crawling all over each other to get their fix from an unproven piece of technology, and now they're paralyzed with fear by the arrival of unforeseen consequences. Sunny Starscout, applied cyberneticist par exellance! Perhaps it is for the best that we're not gonna have 9 years worth of this.
  20. Interesting. I had heard that Zephyr Heights was either a collapsed Cloudsdale, or was located near to where Canterlot used to be. The Pegasi do seem to be the best off of the three Pony species in Gen 5. The Pegasi Royal Guards seem to have a more or less direct lineage back to the EUP Guards.
  21. Never say never... they haven't stopped making Star Trek and Star Wars yet. I don't think anyone who has ocassion to actually read this post will see the end of MLP in their lifetime. And so long as all the voices are still with us, never say never.
  22. I feel Argyle was too interesting and knowledgable character to kill off after just one sequence. Yeah, the decision to kill him off may have made some vague point about coming of age and loss. But what if there had been some adolescent friction between an aging Argyle and Sunny? What if her idealism had buckled slightly, or his has, as they both aged? There are ways they could have kept him alive and still touched upon the theme of life's inevitiabilities. Gen 5 desparately needed a knowledgable, wise mentor, and it didn't have one. Argyle, Dragon Lord Spike and Opaline Arcana are the only fully adult personalities in the whole of Generation 5. Most of the adult Earth Ponies are childish and xenophobic. The Pegasi of Zephyr Heights have their snouts buried in their cellphones. The unicorns are either stoned, depressed, or stoned because they are depressed. Queen Haven and Alphabittle are kind of underwhelming as leaders. Argyle was a character Gen 5 could ill-afford to squander.
  23. I've had many online connections come and go and come again and go again. Many of the connections I've made have been on YouTube, many of those are still intact. A lot of the connections I made on forums like this one, back in the PHP heyday, that's all years ago and I have no idea what became of most people. I did have one guy disappear on me from one day to the next. He had made statements about maybe serving a brief stint in jail. But then, nothing. I messaged several times, and eventually some relation of his answered and stated that he was dead. That sucked.
  24. Sooo Bright, Sooo Beautiful, OUR PREEEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOUS!
