    Hmmm, Star Trek, especially the old school stuff like TOS, TNG, all the movies and early DS9. To a lesser extent Star Wars as well, again, the old school variety. There are many other franchises I am big into. But if you get me talking about the old school iterations of either of those...the geek and the fangirl go way up...I could literally talk for hours and not be bored and I have some of the films and episodes memorized like a Klingon story teller.

    Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship to the rescue, again. There are objective reasons why she is the leader of the Mane 6 and the Princess of Friendship. She might not be as balanced as Applejack, or quite as confident as RD, or humorous as Pinkie Pie, or sensitive as Fluttershy, or charismatic as Rarity. Thus, she is able to walk a line. A long squiggly line.

    Welcome. I too was a fan long before I participated in the fandom, and since coming here, Ive really regretted that I waited so long to reach out. There's a lot of very nice and caring ponies here and plenty of passion for Equestria too.

    I dunno...she's got a temper on her. Is it a good idea to give her enthogenic teas or mix her with Zephyr Breeze? He's a drama llama...

    A subtle and nuanced send up of the Sorcerer's Apprentice, without the brooms and the well, but still plenty of water. DOOMGUY and Pinkie Pie are a known inter-franchise ship, but I have something a little less...undead cannibal in mind for Starlight Glimmer. If Corvus had Starlight Glimmer by his side throughout all of Shadow of the Serpent Riders, the game would have one setting, piece of cake.

    A funny episode, more for the adults than the kiddos. I know there was a Siegfried and Roy couple in this episode, but Flim and Flam are also Siegfried and Roy, except American, 19th Century and utterly perfidious. With how people are now, I am sure Vegas will be selling VIP packages to empty auditoriums soon enough. Also, at this point in the series, it was nice to be reminded that Fluttershy is a full time member of the cast and the Mane 6, this was the first episode in TOO DAMN LONG to feature her in lead role.

    I'm thinking all kinds of things, though not to any purpose. Sitting here at the keyboard and chit chatting on forum threads is a perfectly legitimate way to will away spare time. But it is not, in my case anyways, associated with any blinding bursts of insight. ...therefore I am just percussively typing, if we were together in person I would be babbling, and the longer I go on, the more nonsensical and inane it will get. Something this purposeless is going to degenerate into mammalian play behavior sooner or later. Entirely harmless, of course, but I wouldn't charge pocket lint for whatever I am THINKING about right now...

    Today I made myself laugh. I do that all the time, though I note that not every other pony always joins in for whatever reason. And today it wasn't so much something I said or did as some fan art I made, those have really made me laugh!

    Gabby is a profoundly likable character, with what's coming, her appearance is a nice bit of reassurance what the effect of the Ponies was extending beyond Equestria's borders.

    I've never been into team sports. My one foray was a disaster. This episode seems to sum the whole of it up quite nicely.

    After half a lifetime spent being friends with D&D people, without being one myself, I feel strangely vindicated after watching this episode.

    Our ancestors all over the world used to call it Magic. Thor and his Asgardians call it Technology. Nowadays, most modern folks call it Untreated Mental illness. I call it Princess Power, and if you're reading this, I'm here to say that it's got something for you too. There are some trips that only the Princesses can take you on. And if you just chill out, sit back with your favorite mellow music playing, and gaze into either of these two images, they're gonna take you places.

      Thank you, Bestie! I'm thrilled, it feels like a first anyways. I don't really know how big it is or isn't to get your stuff on EQ Daily, but to me this was big. Part of that's on my end, but EQ is a historic site in this fandom, I consider it an honor to be preserved there.
