  1. You get teary eyed over the loss of fellow human beings.

No, there's nothing wrong with that.

Take my word with a grain of salt though, I honestly have no feelings towards anything like this. 9/11 was horrible, don't get me wrong, but it envokes no emotion in me. Same with the Boston Bombings, or school shootings, or anything like that.

"And I can't believe anyone would want to do such a terrible thing..but why should I care?

Everytime I look around this place, I see them scream but I hear no sound, and the terrible things happen down the road to someone else that I don't even know..

Nothing bad ever happens to me..

    ..Why should I care?"

  2. People refer to her as a backround pony because, as BronyCurious put it, there's pretty much nothing left to explore with her character. She already has all her desires; to work on Sweet Apple Acres. Her only downfall is her stubbornness, which they've used twice already. :P

Go on YouTube and search "Why Applejack gets no love"

I personally don't care much for AJ and agree with BronyCurious.

    I'm a huge Luna fan :3

    Luna is best pone

  3. You forgot to mention that Princess Luna actually had lines.

    More than 1.

That actually had to do with what was going on.

(I was awfully let-down with her human counter-part though. Why the hell was she in pink?)

I watched EQG (about half an hour or so of the beginning, then we were skipping through. We were cringing too much to watch all of it) with my friend yesterday. She was keeping an open mind about it, but I've been close-minded about it since I heard about the crossover and watched the first trailer.

We were arguing (most of them I started) because it was just such a cliche preteen movie. It's set in a high school, there's a new awkward dorky kid who doesn't fit in at all and just so HAPPENS to bump into Sunset's ex-boyfriend who also turns out to be the love interest of the movie.

I was also telling her that it's main purpose isn't to be a good movie; it's to sell the toys.

Hasbro wants their young target audience to buy the toys (and movie, for that matter) because they won't complain about it. Children aren't critical like were are about these things. They don't care about how accurate they are. Hasbro can cheaply make not very accurate toys, and little kids will love them simply because they don't care.

Another thing (as you've said) the movie is EXTREMELY predictable.

Dorky new girl encounters the (I'm not sure what to call him..jock of the school? 'Heart-throb' of the school? The bitch's ex?) whatever-the-hell-he-is character.

    Cool. Clearly the love interest.

The antagonist ends up being the school bully. With an extremely irritating voice and a very punchable face. And she's a massive bitch.

    Yeah.

Twilight's crown was the prize for winning the Fall Formal and being crowned "Fall Queen (or, again, whatever the hell it is)". So she has to win to get it back.

    Of course.

The ending was also very predictable. Just from seeing the trailer with the song about friendship playing, I could easily tell that she'd get the crown back.

I agree with you about Sunset being a horrible character. She had a terrible/not well enough explained backstory. Why the hell would she go to the human world? And I also agree that her reason for turning evil was complete bullshit.

(Where the hell were Celestia and Luna when she was tearing chunks of the school off? It'd be the equivilant of something tearing chunks of Canterlot Castle off and them doing nothing about it.)

And for that matter, HOW the hell did she get to the human world?

Shining Armor and Cadance didn't go there until somewhat recently. Cadance brought back the love and light with the crystal heart.

From what Celestia was saying, Sunset turned bitter ages ago.

How the hell did she get to the Empire, (and I'm assuming that Sombra was still dicking around and his crystal slaves were still slaves), and into the castle for that matter? I'm assuming it was in horrible condition before Cadance and Shining Armor arrived.

And, again, why the hell did she go to the human world?! What is she gaining from it?

"Oh, my teacher picked another pony over me, I'm gonna drop out, go to the Crystal Empire, go through this portal into the human world and become a huge bitch, then come back after everyone is terrified of me to steal Twilight's (also, how did she know that Twilight became Alicorn princess? She's been in the human world) crown and get an army of humans to bring with me to Equestria so I can defeat Celestia"

I'm pretty sure Celestia could take her down pretty quickly.

Plus, there's Luna, Cadance, Shining Armor, Twilight, the rest of the mane 6, all the damn guards from the Empire and Canterlot, Discord, and a boatload of ponies who love Celestia.

    Yah. Good luck Sunset.

I SERIOUSLY doubt the security in the Empire.

One thing that really bugged me (and this I argued with my friend about) is that Sunset got away with the crown.

Twilight had TONS of time to easily get it back.

1)Levitate the damn thing out of her bag.

2)GRAB HER TAIL WITH YOUR MAGIC LIKE YOU'VE DONE BEFORE. (RD in Lesson Zero)

As you've said, I agree that Twilight was very out of character.

She could've found the crown and gotten the hell out of there.

I'd probably punch Sunset in the face first, but I'd still get the hell outta there.

As much as I enjoyed finding all the humanified(?) ponies, some of them were just bad. Trixie, for example, just made me go "..why?"

Everyone would think you're a complete dumbass if you go up to a vending machine and declare that you, the great and powerful so-and-so require some peanut butter crackers.

Twilight and Brad's dancing at the end made me cringe also.

Luna I also didn't enjoy that much. As you've also said, she's WAY smarter than they've implied. And, again..why the pink?!

    One other thing that I also argued on;

    Flash Sentry is yellow/orangeish.

Have you EVER seen a Guard Pony that wasn't White or Grey?

Seriously, (unless they're coloured differently in the Empire, I wasn't really paying attention), why does he have colour?

I read in a fanfiction once that the helmets/armor is enchanted, and makes all the guards look alike.

But, even then, why is Flash orange?

And if the enchantment thing isn't true, where the hell do they find all these lookalike ponies?

The only reason I don't 100% hate it is because Princess Luna had lines.

Other than that, it was just a cliche, stereotypical high-school set movie.

  4. As it's been said, I don't really believe in good luck or anything like that either. Everything DOES happen for a reason; it all depends on which paths you take, or which paths you're taken down. But it's ultimately your choice, you can stray from the path, and go into the "unknown", as it were.

However, I do also sorta believe in "fate". The universe hates me, that's been proven. I've been in quite a few car accidents and almost get run over at least 2 times a week, but I've escaped without physical injury.

As corny as this sounds, maybe the universe wants you to stick around. Whenever I almost get run over I think about how it'd be if I WAS hit and killed. I'd hate to see you go, my good sir. As much as life sucks..it's the only one you have.

    -hugs-

  5. You've given me advice when I feel like shit. So I shall do the same.

Don't leave. I know I've never met you, and you've never met me, but you made me feel better over the internet with a few sentences. That's enough for me..

My family and most of my friends don't care much about me either. Hell, my internet friends make me feel better than people in reality do.

We've never met, but I'd hate to see you go. I'd hate to see ANYONE go.

Why would you care about some loser you've never even met?

I'd ask you the same thing. I'm a loser as well, I know that. I'm told pretty much everyday. Why did you cheer ME up? Why help me at all?

Probably the same reason as mine. I want to help. It's never too late, don't give up on life. Not yet.

  6. Hmm...if you're in high school, I recommend talking to a counsellor. Youthspace is also very helpful, they helped me quite a bit when I was where you are right now.

I'd give you the number to my psychiatrist's right-hand-man, but he's away on vacation until the 4th.

I'd tell your parents anyway. Tell them that you're scared and you really want their help.
