I'm not open about it. Some co-workers were singing "My Little Pony" in jest as they were stocking toys. One co-worker I talked to in the break room was talking about how he saw some MLP fans at a convention but he didn't know the word. I said "Do you mean a Brony?" and he was like "YEAH that's it. What is that?" I replied with "It's about guys that like MLP. I did some research and..." I went into how it's created by Lauren Faust, how Hasbro went to Lauren to make the show to push the toys, and how it seems to have a growing following. I never mentioned I was into it, but I'll come out as a Brony after he tells me "dude I'm a Brony" He's got a lot of similar tastes to me and he watches Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and Powerpuff Girls Zeta (japanese PPG) So... more than likely I've made another Brony. There's strength in numbers.

Well if it's that hard for you to do, and you want to be sneaky about it...( if you're really REALLY paranoid you can be a perfectionist and set up a fake conversation and dialogue of you being resistive or just delete all your text messages before you start doing this) 1. Have someone you trust send you a picture of the toy you want as a text message attachment to your phone reading "This is the toy she wants thank you " to your cellphone 2. Walk into a store, and just go up to someone in the toy section and be like "Hey, what's this and where do I find it?" holding your phone up. 3. (Optional) take a picture of it and say "Hey I got it" 4. Shop freely and if anyone asks about it, just be like "My family member's name couldn't find it in her area and they don't like dealing with online stuff. So they asked me to do them a favor. Kinda a hassle, but what ever." 5. ??? 6. Profit!

Come on, that has to be one of the best Turtle and (hare) Falcon episodes ever done. What was it that you didn't like? Too much Rainbow Dash? Hawks, Eagles, and Bats? Was a turtle with a flying propeller not cool enough? What did you want out of the episode?

So here's the thing. I asked yesturday about guidelines no one had any info, so I did some searching and I found this at Equestrian Daily. It not only does the guide lines but has (what seems like) just about every tip you'd need to practice drawing your own ponies or bronies, short of... wings. People were asking about wings. My first day of official bronydom an old lady was looking for My Little Pony figure. So I got to sit there and look at the merch for a bit without any judgementalism. I was debating in my head whether or not to describe the Pony she was looking for by name, or by physical appearance. You know... it's the difference between "No this one is purple with a pink stripy thingy, the picture shows a pink one" and "No this is Twilight Sparkle, you're looking for Pinkie Pie" Granted I also only knew half the pony names having only watched 4 episodes from the time I woke up till the time I had gone to work and they were my first 4 episodes. My girlfriend and confident know. Confident not so much but I think my GF is wierded out by how much I bring it up. However she's madly enhooved with me so she's not going anywhere. XD It's a bummer your parents are the sick ones. If anything is a mental illness it's bigotry from cultural brainwashing. Sexual orientation is mostly out of our control. Even if it wasn't, who cares? It's like saying that you can't fall in love with a black person because you're white, or that a white person is mentally ill if they fall in love with an asian. They will use roughly the same exact arguments too. There's a ton of evidence both scientific and anecdotal that shows that the people who are the most against homosexuals are either repressing their own intimate desires or they are just extremely ignorant due to a cult belief (religious or otherwise) As an example Michelle Bachman (Tea Party candidate on the Republican side) is married to a guy who calls homosexuals savages in a very effeminate voice while talking about how everyone has those kinds of tendencies or desires, but they shouldn't be acting upon them. Then he's also someone who "trains gays to be straight." I'm not sure if he's one of those lunatics that holds gay people to turn them straight or not, but... no matter how you look at it, the dude is clearly repressing sexual urges in an unhealthy way. But for now you gotta behave until you are no longer under your parents immediate control. Until then all you can do is love and tolerate the spit out of them until they can return your efforts with some to spare. Sorry about the rant on matters that are not of my own business. However... I spend way too much time trying to find out more about reality. Despite the fact that I'm posting this message on a magical pony message board. Wow... That's a pretty blatant contradiction. lol
