The only free alternative I can think of is Microsoft Expression Encoder. It allows for 10 minutes of recording with no watermark. It offers a lot of options for a free screen capture software, so it's worth checking out. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27870 With a bit of looking around, you might find some mods/effects for the Vista version of Windows Movie Maker that will allow for picture in picture mode.

For gameplay, I'd recommend Bandicam. Fraps results in VERY high file sizes, and Bandicam offers that same level of quality for a much lower file size. I can't recommend any specific webcams (Most cams come with their own capture software), but for what you want to do, you'll need some advanced video editing software like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro (Mac only) This software allows you to easily do picture in picture things, and is pretty flexible for a lot of other things.

This asdfmovie was pure awesomeness as always, but I think the silly voices kinda killed a few of the sketches though. The sketch that got me was the door one I might be moving to Lincoln later this year to study Film & TV Production at the university, so if I do move, then we'll probably bump into each other :3

I'd love to get together with some of the guys on here for zombie slaying Would we be playing on Xbox or PC though? I've only got the Xbox versions.

It's been forever since I played any of the Left 4 Dead games - mainly because nobody I know actually plays it on Xbox. It'd be awesome to get back into it, though I prefer the first game over the second. The characters know each other better, and it's pretty much all at night time, which makes for awesome zombie killing fun times. I'd say my favorite character to play as out of the first bunch was Zoey. Dunno why, but I just find it more fun playing as a girl rather than someone that looks like a certified badass. Favorite out of the second game would be Ellis. He's random, he's always telling stories, and is really like the ice breaker of the characters. Any awkward situation is always softened with a story about his buddy Keith :3

I personally prefer internal hard drives. They're a ton faster in my experiences, and the only time I ever need a portable one is for college work. Might look into solid state drives at some point... I'm probably gonna wind up falling asleep and missing out on that. :/

Discord going on a killing spree kinda makes sense, especially if he was to go around killing all humans (Well, we pretty much screwed the planet). Celestia and Luna (Who may have been regarded as gods at the time) probably turned humankind into ponies in order to protect them from Discord's slaughter. The first batch of sentient ponies were probably beyond confused, but their children wouldn't have known any different, so I guess it wouldn't have taken long for this new race to adapt. Anyway, those are my random thoughts for the day. Wouldn't surprise me if someone's already said something along these lines. I'm bored now.
