I have somehow found myself in this place again... How odd. Anyhoo, I'm back at work tomorrow. Literally slept all day yesterday, which I guess is what an entire week of this stuff does. Were you born before 1917?

1: Hi there! 2: Circles and sticks. If you're just starting out, I'd recommend using an existing picture so you can figure out the 'skeleton'. It'll take some getting used to, but it's a huge help. Example time! I found that a lot of the time when I was starting out, I'd just be drawing the outlines of what I could see rather than making these skeleton guidelines for myself, which resulted in everything being a bit wonky. RuneScape always finds a way. Anyhoo, I've been tempted by the Dvorak keyboard layout... Only thing that's putting me off is that I don't wanna spend ages cherry-picking keys until I get used to it.

Thanks I'm doing pretty good now; better than I was feeling the other day. Got an email from Falmouth University's course coordinator for Animation, and I pretty much just have to slap together a portfolio of stuff so that I can be considered. Unfortunately, all the main places on the course have been taken, but there are usually spaces that drop as some students decide to postpone a year. Sounds like everything was on fire.

Just got a bit of practice with my Wacom. Just did a cleanup and color on someone's rough sketch so I could get used to making lines and stuff. I used to be a bit of a webcomic nerd, but that's dwindled in recent years.

I've been fairly good, although that's kinda of a lie. So far in the past two months, I've failed my university course with no second chance, I've gone through three jobs, my landlord has threatened to kick me out of my house, I got kittens, I then said goodbye to the kittens, and to top it all off, my cousin got diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia last week. Basically: I'm depressed beyond all recognition, but still trying to smile.

So am I. I need to get better at drawing circles and sticks, especially if I wanna get into animating things. That's like 24 circles and sticks per second!

Thanks And yeah, I've pretty much been a part-time guy around here since sometime last year. To be fair, I used a small guide for that drawing. Turns out Sonic is pretty much just two circles on sticks. Still trying to get used to the software for doodling around in. Using TVPaint.

Is Summer or Winter good where you live?

I live in a seaside part of England known as Cornwall, and the summer here is pretty warm, but it's infinitely more humid and horrible, with loads more of our famous rain because it's by the sea. Winter on the other hand is just bland. Nothing exciting happens, except maybe a brief bit of snow that lasts a grand total of 1 day if it even manages to settle. -
A: I'm a pretty good shot, and rockets fired from an RPG travel insanely fast. 2: If I have to go to the toilet, that'd just make me more inclined to blow the thing up and drive on to the nearest petrol station.

Well, you'd certainly have enough time to set up an RPG. I'd definitely wanna blow it up.
