Y'know, that is ONE of the many things I've been complaining 'bout. The way I see it is Nintendo is sucking the pennies out of people. Here's my biggest gripe about Nintendo: they want YOU to pay $30 a year for Nintendo Switch Online (which was FREE a couple of years ago), they want YOU to pay $25 to get Pokemon Home AND they want YOU to pay $45 for the DLC ON TOP of what you already paid for the game (A copy of Pokemon Sword and Shield here in Australia is $70 - $80) ...and I'm gonna be BRUTALLY honest here: they cut more than 60% of the Pokedex just so they can FORCE you to buy the DLC. So effectively, I'm paying $180 just to get the FULL experience. F*ck off Nintendo. Pokemon never had this problem in the past. WTF!? Not only that, the apologists (who are defending gamefreak) are completely delusional and they DONT think this is a problem...

@SolarFlare13 I agree with all of that completely and that is all on top of Sword/Shield basically doing nothing to advance the series in any meaningful way and not taking advantage of the Switch hardware. The draw distance as one example is horrible in the game and the Switch can output some fantastic visuals for a portable system. Yet, these games are essentially up-res'd 3DS titles.
