      It's a big place; I'll give you that. I find a lot of enjoyment in looking at peoples' art, whether it be fictions or drawings. Cruise around and see what you like. :)

      Season 3 wasn't as good as the first 2, but season 4 has made up for season 3 in spades. The latest episode was by far and away the best one in a very long time.

    Alright, so recently, a buddy of mine had pointed out a pretty spot on fact about the forums. He said to me that “everyone is at each other’s necks” and that there are constant fight, flame wars, keyboard warriors, and so forth. And, I have to agree with him on that. Some of the members of this forum are churlish, abrupt, and just mean in general. I completely agree with my friend on what he says about this forum. But, I’m not going to be so cynical about everyone here. I noticed some status...

      What?!? I wouldn't call this forum anything CLOSE to "at each other's necks". If anyone is ever questioning the "niceness" of these forums, just hop on over to Reddit's front page for a few minutes, and read some comments. It never fails to put things in perspective. :P

      Think on this: you're smarter now than you were back then, correct? Without those experiences, you wouldn't be the same person you are today - if time didn't play out as it has, you might not have joined this fandom, or even have the same group of acquaintances. Long story short: it happened this way for a reason. Make the best of it, and maybe your first hand experiences can help someone else avoid the same mistakes. :)

      Yep. Inkscape is free, although I'd look up tutorials on how to do vector graphics - from what I've seen, it's quite a bit different than your normal drawing.

      Aside from Photoshop (because that's the major player in the art game), GIMP is basically Photoshop reskinned (and free!), and Inkscape allows you to do vector art (a bit different than the usual raster art that most people are familiar with.) Think of GIMP as the free alternative to Photoshop, and Inkscape as the free alternative to Illustrator.
