Ok i'll be sure to send it your way later today. Got the Prologue, First, second and third chapters pretty cemented as far as content goes. They need a good once over to help with format, punctuation, clarity, and what not.

Have tons of different OCs that i've created for various stories, ideas, or just on whims. If you want you can give my primary OC, Genepool a shot. Comic Link Never really took him beyond that comic, though i'm tempted to start something here shortly.

Heck, if you want something to edit i've been working on a story for the past year. Got rejected due to too many errors and it could use some looking over. Used that 1 year to flush out the characters, story/stories (adventure long piece), settings, places, fix plot holes, and the like. It's been on hiatus, but i'm just about ready to return to it. Going to try to make it about 8 chapters per arc with there being 4 arcs within the entire story itself.

Regretably, the intro for the movie Alien is slow. I tried to match it the best I could which is why you are basically watching the "car crash in slow motions." Thanks for the info/links Cloud, I'll be sure to take a look at those. Sadly, as the intro for the movie gives any indication, it is really stale. Only thing I might do is reduce the size of the stars a bit to achieve a Twinkling feeling. Noticed that as a mistake when I was working on a test version a while back. The effect was unintended, but wasn't undesired. Biggest problem is the name since Changeling is rather long compared to Alien. Sprite just sounds like a coca-cola commercial while Parasprite is close to being as long as Changeling.

Looking for some feedback on a video if anyone has some time. Making an Alien style movie intro, but i've hit a bit of a roadblock as far as the title goes. Thought about using the term Sprite, while a person I chatted with suggested Changeling. Need to keep the title short about 5 maybe 7 characters max in length. Only have 1min 45 to 1min 47 seconds before the music changes to where the Nostromo would enter in the original movie. Video Link Just a quick warning about the video. It is EXTREMELY unpolished/unrefined, so you will no doubtedly spot some errors/misc. quirks. Already have an agenda where i'm going to modify the planet's rings so they are thicker, a bit more faded, and reduce the haze on the planet. Also need to get the timing down on the lettering to make it blend properly. (The text isn't shown in this test demo, but I noticed several problems with opacity animating.) Any feedback is welcome to help me improve the video. Info: Using Sony Vegas (Think Pro) and Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64bit) for the images.

I'm extremely hesitant to do this since I'm still a newbie/amateur, however, nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. I've been practicing, learning, etc... since the show came around and i've definitely improved from my horribly bad photography of screen capping then "enhancing" said screen caps. Right now i'm branching out into animations where I trace out vectors from screen caps then animate them using minor details. ( If anyone has animation tutorial links for Photoshop CS5 (Using 64bit version) i'm happy to take a look. ) Going to open myself up to your generous criticism, ideas, opinions, and such to improve myself further. If anyone would like to have their OC or a character from the show animated please feel free to make a request. (Please no alicorn OCs, or OCs with super detailed features. Have novice understanding of Photoshop.) Now for the bad part, I don't want to crush anyone's expectations. There are a few rules/conditions that I will have to put forth. 1. I use photoshop CS5 and have no access to Flash nor do I plan to use flash. This is a double edged sword since I can get some unique details with photoshop that are probably not possible in Flash. At the same time I don't have the nice, "Smooth" control you find in Flash. 2. Simple Animations *Look below at my links*: If you do request an animation, please make sure to keep the details for it as smooth and simple as possible. I'm still learning things, and more than happy to experiment, but please keep it simple. For me to animate a gif of Celestia's hair flowing, a tree blowing/shifting in the wind, a leaf falling, and the sun going down in an arc would be very difficult for me to try. Not only that, but the file size would be quite large. That isn't to say i'm against it, but simple is best for me at the moment. I'll be chosing the ideas then testing them out. Animations that are tricky/hard/currently impossible for me (Examples): -Wing flapping: I've seen how this is done with several sequential shots, but it is still tricky since I have to draw each shot then include inbetweens done by hand. -Flowing Hair: This is easier to do than wing flapping, though it is still difficult. If a person requests flowing hair I will probably limit it to just that unless there's a small other detail. Something going across the screen with no animation like a flying ball is easy, a pony in the background walking is difficult. -Walk Animations: Have absolutely no idea on how to make this work in Photoshop GIFs, so i'm going to make these off limits for the time being. A hoof motion is a different story entirely. Example of a hoof animation would be a hinge point like we see in episode 18 of season 2 with cranky shooing Pinky away, or a pony waving with one or both hooves. 3. Please, please keep in mind that these are request. I will be using this experience to learn. Refuse to put out a piece of garbage since it feels degrading to not on the request, but myself. However, on the other hand, i'm not a professional, so keep that in mind. Here are a few examples of animations that I have made: 1. Animation Test 2, Twilight: Read me a story w/ shining eyes 2. Animation Blip Test 3. Pendulum Test 4. Spining Blades Sorry for the rules and such, but I don't want to get peoples hopes up of show quality animation with me delivering amateur level material. I will upload results to here for people to nab. The Twilight test animation is done with a transparent background and as you see it is jagged, just a heads up for those requesting transparent backgrounds.

I'm currently seeking assistance with a fan fic that I recently wrote. It’s been a little over a year since I started writing, so my skills have improved from what they were some time ago. However, they aren't exactly superlative compared to the other great writers in the fandom. Want to use this story to help me understand where i'm wrong, and apply that knoweldge to a story i've had in the works for that year i've been writing. (Mostly been flushing out the character, setting, story idea, places he visits, interactions, and such.) Have, or hopefully have, a basic level of understanding when it comes to grammar. The finer points of grammar seem to elude like proper comma usage and "proper" punctuation. Thank you for any advice, assistance, ideas, opinions, etc... , to help me improve my abilities. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Twilight Sparkle How did you find MLP Forums?: Friend on Skype recommended the forums for help and a place to go to chat. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Was dared to watch it, and I liked the first three episodes of the show. Being a film critic, the show is definitely a breath of fresh air in this current age of over dramatized, dark and gritty story telling for cartoon. Not too much of a people person, so hopefully that can change here. So...what's up everyone? ps...Twilight is best pony with Luna and Celestia equal as best princess.
