Harmonic Revelations

Hello and welcome to my page! If you've come here, you have made a terrible mistake. Now that you have visited my page, the inescapable gravitation of my friendship will pull you infinitely inward and smother you in warmth and kindness, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

  If you are here, that means you're at least marginally interested in who I am as a person. I have no idea what would drive such a strange compulsion to learn about someone like me, but I don't judge. I'll try to keep this blurb a brief summary overview of me, and then go into more detail down below for those interested. So I suppose first things should come first. Names. My first name is Colt and I don't mind being called that even by someone who is only an acquaintance, so whether you wish to call me Harmonic (or some variation of that) or Colt, I don't have a strong preference either way.

  It's kind of staggering to think about how long ago I first joined this place. Back when I signed up in 2012, I was only thirteen years old, and now I'm in my early twenties. Amazing how quickly time passes you by. In ages past I was a very active member of this community and now here I am again to regale you with semi-coherent non-sequiturs and babble on about my mundane existence. I'm sure you're delighted.

  I've been described as a goofball by those who know me well, so I suppose you should come to expect me to only be half-serious at any given time. For my major interests, there's (obviously) ponies, also I'm a fan of gaming, anime, competitive shooting (haven't been able to do this since 2019 due to quarantine), and hunting. I have a great affinity for nature and my dream job is to be an entomologist. My favorite arthropod is the species Hymenopus Coronatus. 

  Currently I do freelance writing as my main source of income and I enjoy it greatly. Creative expression is my forte but visual arts have never been my thing, so combining my linguistic skills and vivid imagination is perhaps what I do best.

I suppose that the simplest way to go about expanding on some information about my interests would be to make bulleted lists, as cliché as that may be. If you don't see a game or movie or musician or something here feel free to drop me a recommendation, I may have simply missed it and am always open to consuming new media like the ravenous black hole of synapses that my mind is.

Favorite Video Games:

-Dead Space 2 (This is my all time favorite game, but the others on this list aren't in a specific order. The first Dead Space is great too I just think the first is a better game.)

-Halo (The entire series except 5 which is terribly generic and uninteresting. I am a huge Halo nerd, I own all the books and comics and bought every game as they came out since 3,  the first two games in the series I played because my older brother bought them, but once I was old enough I insisted on going to every midnight launch. My favorite Halo game is Halo 2)

-Half-Life

-Stardew Valley

-Sid Meire's Civilization

-The Elder Scrolls (Favorite game in the series is Morrowind)
