Usually when I try to get girls to eat the kind of food I make they take one look at it and start going on about their diets or something. Wimps." He chuckled a little.

Genesis felt like she owed the guy. And it was also kind of funny watching him. She followed a few steps behind, watching him stumble and then finally fall to the grass. She looked down at him with her yellow eyes " You think you can guard an elevator when you can barely walk big shot?". Genesis heaved him up; wrapping an arm around him to support his weight and began walking with little effort. Even if he did protest, she took him to her room; plopping him down on her bed.

 

" First, I'm not going to rape you and second, you need to ride this out and I sure as hell hate doing it outside. Once you think you can handle it, i'll explain what happened down there." she hopped up and sat on the desk; taking off her jacket and throwing it somewhere.

"You don't look like a cook but I'd love to try your cooking. I can cook too but never for my boyfriend...well...you're the first." she answered.

She had a point and apparently she wasn't going to just leave him alone, which surprised Rick a little. So when she hefted him up he didn't protest, he even did his best to help move wherever she was taking him, he didn't talk or really focus on anything, all his concentration was on keeping his dignity and not vomiting as she helped him.

 

The wherever she had taken him apparently had a rather comfortable bed, she dumped him on it he laid there appreciatively. His world was still somewhat spinning but he was feeling better. He listened to her, then responded sounding mostly tired now, "okay, first thanks for that bit of reassurance and second... really thanks, I uh guess I got a little bored just sitting and watching the elevator. In return I promise not to puke in your room." He shifted up the bed a little so he could prop his head up and look at her better. He decided maybe he should try a little more light humor and joking with her since he'd given her such a hard time earlier. "So this might be a bit awkward you know since you've already gotten me back to your room and in bed but mind if I ask what your name is?" He tired to give her a nice friendly smile, hoping he didn't look like to much of a mess. "Then maybe you can move on and tell what happened."

"Genesis" she sighed, throwing a blanket on him and one around herself, sitting in an armchair. "The power went out on the computer, dont know why or how and I cant explain how it turned back on." She hesitated a bit, this guy had been quite concerned thus far and didn't know how he would handle the next part "Someone's stuck in it."

When Genesis and Rick left, Dan realized that there was really nothing more that they could do today. 'Ugh, I just wanna go to bed and sleep the day off.' He thought to himself. He then noticed Meghan near the elevator. She looked stressed out, understandably so. More over, she looked like she could use a friend. "Hey, I think we should go. There's not really much that we can do now." He raised his hand to her, asking her to come with. It probably wasn't healthy to stay down there given all that had transpired.

Meghan had fallen asleep while sitting under the elevator call button. She woke up with a start and immediately flinched at the hand that was offered to her. Remembering the gloves on her hands, she gingerly took his and stood up with his help. Looking around a bit, she remembered that she was in the factory. "What about Amber? Shouldn't we wait for her?" Meghan asked, letting go of his hand rather quickly. She was confident that the girl she spoke to on the computer was named Amber.

Tempest groaned as he woke up in the middle of the night. When he looked at his computer, he noticed that the screen looked the exact same as the one on the computer at the factory. "Well, this just got interesting." He thought, before remembering Amber. A plan then began to form in Tempest's head, and he smirked at himself. "I'm coming for you, Amber."

"Unless you know how to get her out right now, there's nothing we can do for her at the moment." Dan said. "Let's think about this after we all get some sleep. Today has been a stressful one and If we really want to help Amber, We'll do it when we're at 100%, not running on fumes." This was the most serious Dan had ever been. Maybe losing a friend hit him harder than he initially thought.

It didn't really answer Meghan's question but it would have to do. She was tired after all. "You're right." Meghan sighed and rubbed her arms up and down with her hands. She nibbled at a strand of hair and walked past him. "I didn't catch your name. What was it?" Meghan asked him. She turned back to look at him.

Ambers face appeared on the screen "well then you don't have to go far fly boy, when you were asleep I linked the computers now have a nice day in class and I'll be here when you need me." The screen closed as she turned away and left the tower she was in to go to the mountain region.

Tempest's smile broadened at the mere sight of Amber, and he sighed in relief. "Thank you, Amber." He whispered. The teen still felt the knots in his back, but they were less painful. "At least those are getting better." Tempest couldn't get anymore sleep, and simply opened a program he used to write prototype software, and went to work. It had nothing to do with Lyoko, but it was a means for him to waste time when he couldn't focus.

"Name's Dan." he said and shot her a smile to cheer her up. "And don't worry. Everything will turn out alright." Dan was always the one to say everything would be okay, even if he didn't always believe it. Even so, he was the one who kept the hope alive, and his attitude showed it. "Now come on." He said as the elevator arrived.

The next morning,students flooded the school. To them, the party last night had been awesome. Unfortunately, for our warriors it was anything but.

 

Genesis sat in her armchair, wearing nothing but a shirt with a toothbrush and foam. She strummed lazily on her guitar thinking about the days plans and when Rick would wake up.

 

Whisper had a wonderful night with Rush. For fun, she had let him win thier little challenge; feigning fullness. She sat in the courtyard, preferring not to get swept up by the other students.

 

DING!

"NEW STUDENTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE MAIN OFFICE FOR ROOM ASSIGNMENTS" rung out over the P.A.

Tempest sighed as he woke up at his desk. "I guess I wore myself out." He said, as he quickly changed his clothes, and walked towards the main office. The strange part was, he was wearing the exact same clothes he had in Lyoko, minus the wings and swords of course. "After school, I should be able to beat the others to the factory, and get in Lyoko." He thought to himself.

After Dan Had walked Meghan back to her place, he went straight to where he was staying until room assignments were handed out and passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow. He woke up very uncomfortably as he rolled right off of the bed. "Dammit." He said as he got up and got ready for the day. He then headed over to the main office when he heard the main announcement over the intercom.

Braum had already been awake for hours. He was used to getting up at the crack of dawn. He was in the courtyard doing his daily morning routine. The muscles  strained in his arm as he supported the weight of his body while doing push-ups.He had lost count a few minutes ago, and still did not feel tired. With a sudden ding, the PA system interrupted his workout. "Ha-ha that would be Braum, would it not?" he said to no one in particular. Braum jumped up to his feet in one swift motion, and started walking towards the main office.

Meghan woke and sat up in her bed. Stretching and yawning, she got out of bed and showered. After having done so, she got dressed and pausd in her walking to look at the gloves on the bedside table. Sighing, realising that what happened yesterday wasn't a dream, she grabbed the gloves and put them on, hiding the arms of them under her jumper sleves. Satisfied, Meghan placed her hands in her jeans pockets and walked over to the school in time to hear the announcement. Seeing a large crowd already there, she decided to hang back and wait until they dispersed a little.

Meghan noticed Whisper in the courtyard and walked over to her, waving. "Hi, Whisper. How ya doing?" Meghan asked her as she satnear her friend, making sure that she wasn't electrocuting her.

Tempest was at the front of the crowd. He had seen a few students he had known, along with those he had met last night in the computer room. "If we don't have classes, then I might as well head to the factory. I wouldn't mind seeing Amber." He thought, smiling slightly at the thought.

Whisper smiled at her friend "Hey! Oh Meghan I was worried!". Whisper sat closer to Meghan, genuinely concerned "Uhm...Tara took you back down last night. Are you okay?".

 

The attendant stood outside the Main Office, helping to distribute the overload of students. He called out names, handing a slip to each raised hand. "Braum, your room is with...Dart Nymph."

 

"Tempest...you room with Dan."

 

"Ms.Gref? Ms.Gref?" he called out.

Meghan moved away when Whisper moved closer. Yeah, I'm ... fine." Meghan said hesitantly. She looked up when sh heard her name called. "I've got to see what they want me for. I'll talk to you later." Meghan said hurriedly and walked over to the attendant. She felt bad about leaving Whisper like that but sh didn't her friend to get shocked. "I'm here!" Shecalled out to the attendant, wondering if this was about dorm selection.

Whisper sat there, shocked. Did she smell bad? Meghan had flinched away from her like she was the plague. Whisper sighed and got up, heading into the crowd.

 

"Ms.Gref? Here you go. Genesis Kane. Room number on the slip and key taped to the back" he tossed it over to Meghan.

Tempest nodded slight, and left after he got his key. He then went outside and sat on one of the benches. "I might as well do something productive, before they call classes. I wouldn't really mind if the didn't, though. It would give me a reason to go to the factory and Lyoko." He muttered. The teen then pulled out his laptop and booted it up, before accessing the database of the super computer. According to what wasn't in a secure file, there were four sectors of Lyoko, each with a distinct environment: Ice, forest, dessert, and of course mountain. The strange was that he couldn't find out who created the virtual world. "I guess I'll have to get a hold of those security tapes." He thought.

Braum listened as room assignments were being handed out. He waited until the speaker was finished, or at least he thought the attendant was finished. He couldn't hold it in any more. He burst out in his normally loud voice, "Dart Nymph, that is a strange name, no? But you probably think Braum strange to! A-hah" His laugh echoed through the room. "Now tell me, who are you Dart Nymph?"

Amber appeared on Tempests screen in a separate window. "Hey lover boy hows it going, got anything new too tell me about this land I am stuck in? Oh and personally I don't think the security tapes will work." She kneeled down and the screen followed her face. "So what are ya going to do now?"

Megjan caught the key and note in her gloved heands. Placing them in he pocket, she heard Dart answer back to whoever Braum was. Turning around and sighing she went to move away from the crowd when she saw Whisper. Gulping an smiling nervously, she moved over to her, being extremely careful of the people around her. "Sorry for cutting the conversation short, Whisper." Meghan apologised.

Dart looked over to where he thought he heard Braum's voice. In way of answering, Dart yelled back after getting his dorm info. Apparentoy he was with a guy named Tempest. "Oi! At least I have the name of an object, mate! Braum's an even weirder name compared to mine!" Dart yelled back.
