gaming Crash Bandicoot?

So it has been, what 6 years now since the last Crash Bandicoot game?

 

There have been rumors that Sony is looking to buy back the license.

 

Do you think it's true? If so, are you excited? Who do you want it to develop? What would you like to see in a new Crash Bandicoot game anyway? As a long time Crash fan, I seriously hope we get some news on the little orange guy

I was never a huge fan of Crash. I liked the PS2 games more than the original style cuz of the ability to control the mutants and whatnot. I never did get around to beating Mind Over Mutant though.

I've only played Crash Bandicoot Warped, but I remember it being a lot of fun...definitely one of the best platformers at the time.  Would love to see a Crash revival.

Been a crash fan since i first played it at 4 years old matter of fact my first game was Crash Bandicoot 2:Cortex Stikes Back. I would love sony and naughty dog to make a new crash game and if they announced it i would be just as excited as if valve announced HL3

It would be great, most games after the first trilogy didn't manage to be nearly as great in any aspect. So I can only hope they somehow manage to make something awesome, the first three weren't really groundbreaking for the genre like mario 64, but they were mastery in design for sure.

I loved Crash Bandicoot!
My favourite games were CTR, Twinsanity, Warped and Crash Bash.

 

Yes I would be happy for a new game.

It's been far too long since a new Crash game. If a new game is made I hope they go back to the old formula of the Naughty Dog Games. It would be great to see a new Crash game!

I love Crash Bandicoot. It's a shame that the series and the fandom slowly died out after Mind Over Mutant. :c I hope that Sony buys the licence and makes a new game in the manner of the Naughty Dog games. The trilogy are some of my most favourite games. *u*

I was never much of a Crash fan; and it didn't help that Spyro the Dragon was, for me, the BEST THING EVER at the time.

 

However, if Rayman can make a comeback, then I don't see why Crash Bandicoot can't!

While I have no doubt Naughty Dog is capable of making an amazing platform game with modern tech, I don't see our dream game happening. Crash's best bet is a small budget downloadable title. Activision doesn't do that very often though.

I think Naughty Dog should resurrect the franchise from the abomination that was Crash Of The Titans. The original was the first game I ever played & it would be epic if Naughty Dog made a comeback. If Naughty Dog is unavailable, Santa Monica studios would be my top pick for an alternative developer.
