[RUMOR] Team Ico's The Last Guardian MAY be cancelled

Looks like the game from the makers of "Ico" and "Shadow of the Colossus" is now officially dead. Excuse me while I express my sadness.

And the article didn't give any reasons as to why, and that makes me wonder.

"Ico" was my dad's all-time favorite game, followed by "Shadow of the Colossus." He constantly praised how advanced and artistic they were, and always talked about how the minimalism was romantic, in a sense. While I can't say I've ever heard about this game, I'm sad to see it go. My dad loved the other two games these guys put out, and I'm sure he'd be pretty upset if he heard this was going to be cancelled :\

 

My condolences to this game and everyone anxiously awaiting it.

The link gave an update saying it may be a rumour and a few reliable people are saying it's false. If it's true that would be really sad as that is the only upcoming game that is appealing to me.

Hoping this is just a rumor as well!  After playing ICO and Shadow of the Colossus for the first time, TLG became one of my most anticipated games.  To hear that it might be cancelled is just too heartbreaking.

They've been saying it's cancelled every year. Literally every year some "source" comes out saying TLG being cancelled, usually right around E3 or TGS. I'm not gonna believe it until people stop talking about it.

 

This game is not only development hell but also marketing hell. I imagine the people at Sony only laugh at this because it's the only way they can stop their marketing team from falling apart.
