I stayed in Detrot and founded the DSRL or Detrot Street Racing League. It was all legal. The cops are so friendly over there. But it wasn't always that way. Gangs started to rise and we lost our friendship with the cops, because they thought that we formed them." Nitro explained.

Rain looked up from her notepad now. She listens intently again "its easy to loose a cops trust....one bad thing could make them turn their backs on you,wither you did it or not..." she muttered to herself, but loud enough for at least the surrounding ponies to hear. Then she went back to scribbling in her notepad, appearing to be doing something.

"I tried my best, but it just wasn't enough. You thought I turned my back on you, but I saw your murder case to the bitter end..." He whispered not very quietly.

 

"Miss, you must know that we try our best, no matter what. There are limits to what even an alicorn can do you know, and after all, we are only ponies..."

"Exactly. I absolutely hate it when a police pony thinks they're all that and can rule over ponies in the community. I've been through that. Cop found me giving a ticket to a driver who was driving recklessly  He admitted his mistakes and we even became friends. But that nasty cop ruined the moment by pulling me and slamming me to the ground saying: "This is my town and I make the rules. This stallion needs to be behind bars." In the end, that cop was jailed for assault. I got away with only a few scratches. Goes to show that some cops shouldn't even be cops. I'm glad I found another cop who strives to be friends with everypony." Nitro said.

Rain turned the page on her notepad, still doodling whatever she was doing. "I used to live next door to one. I always got in trouble for loud noises when I knocked something over and down the stairs or my music is too loud, but some cops can be sweethearts on the inside you just have to pay attention to find it" She looks up from her notepad "some ponies believe that all cops are heartless, some think cops will let you get away with anything if you bat your eyes and look innocent, but the truth is, almost all cops have a sweet center that's just surrounded by a rough layer" She looks back down at her notepad again "Here I go, i'm half ranting to myself again...."

"Must've been a pain. I don't get some cops who just want to look tough on the outside, because on the inside, they're just cowards thinking they're all that. I know a cop who was like that. He was fired once I told him off and told the Sheriff about him." Nitro stated.

Rain finally stopped her doodling to look up at them both. "Ashamed? The only thing you should've been ashamed of were their attitudes if they had one, I bet you were a great commander, wither the others were complete jerks or they followed every command, it only matters on how you act, but you do have a point, even the hardest of innocent shells can be cracked by the force of wrong doing..." She doodles a bit more then snaps the notepad shut.

Rain turned her head towards the other colt. "A-ah yes,I'm not popular though I'm just sort of a...um...hobbyist." she muttered. "Painting is just a outlet away from life for me basically, helps keep your mind off worries about everything" She puts her notepad in her saddlebag.

"I agree. Cops need to model off those in Detrot. Everything in moderation. Sometimes it calls for peaceful and friendly, other times it calls for force. But it's never a good thing to be too agressive just to get submission." Nitro said to Sun as he sat in his Saleen.

Sun looked up at his apartment above the clouds.

(actually no, I check this rp everyday to see if someone had fixed the 'stuck' moment iv been going through, I cant seem to write more then 20 letters and then get I get stuck, so you joining in the rp would actually help stop the 'stuck' moments for us all, so feel free to join! also, im mentioning everybody to stop the silence, and I MIGHHTTT be bringing in one of my other Pony Oc's so ya.)

Rain giggled lightly "thank you sir and I will" She said in a small sweet voice.

Just then a sudden voice from above scares her "Hia Rain! Hi ponies I don't know!" A yellow colt with a blue mane fly's just above them all. Rain looks up and smiles brightly "Hi? You have a tendency to follow me don't you?" she asks and he reply's with a cheerful "Yup!"

The colt above them pouted and crossed his hooves "Im not her friend..." and flew off in a grumbled little ball of sand yellow and blue. Rain smiled sweetly and simply says "Hes my cousin....and I was planning on going home, but if you have anywhere else you would like to go Id be happy to go with you..."

"Well...I do have a small little garage here in Manehattan, where I keep some of my cars that I don't use. Or, we could go out to lunch..." Nitro said. Suddenly his stomach growled loud enough for Rain to hear. He blushed lightly. "Well...I guess it's time for lunch." He said.

Riley and Anala's bellies rumbled in unison. "Hey, you guys don't mind if we have lunch with you, do you?" asked Riley. "Of course, we'll pay for ourselves."

 

Anala looked in her purse. Sure, she had plenty of money, but why use it when she could... "Hey, Rye, I left my money back at my apartment. You can pay for me, right?"

As Sun began to walk away, he noticed the mare take advantage of the obviously lovestruck pony. As he walked past he leaned over and whispered in the pony's ear.

 

"Hey 'Rye', just to let you know, yer payin' for a mare that has more bits than the whole group, and that's just in her pocket."

 

Sun pats him on the back and continues his walk to the nearest cafe. In truth he was rather hungry himself, but he dare not show any weakness or needs.

As Sun Stream had been telling that to Riley, Anala had been hurriedly taking her cash out and placing it in the door pocket (whatever it's called). "I, er... have no idea what that guy is talking about!" said Anala. She opened her now-empty purse to show Riley. "See? Empty!"

Sun continued to walk on, but heard everything that Anala said. He turned his head ever so slightly and shouted back to them.

 

"She's lying, I can hear it in her voice. Also I saw you put the cash in the door pocket of the car, the window in front of me is very reflective yknow?"

 

And with that he continued to walk on, entering the cafe on the other side of the road and settling down at the window table, just to see how it played out.

Rain turned towards Anala and simply said "Lies..you do realize I can detect lies from the truth right? Simple stuttering, nervousness your a bit jumpy too." Rain smiled brightly at her. "Also, that colt that just walked away has a point"
