Will the CMC have a bit of a falling-out?

To be more specific - what do you think would happen if they didn't get their cutie marks at the same time?

 

Would that cause them to shun each other from the club? I know it's a bit of a stretch but it bugged me a bit. It's true that they are good friends, but it was them being blank-flanks that brought them together in the first place, wouldn't you say?

Their would be a little jealousy,but i think that their past the point of 'falling out' over one of them getting their cutie marks 1st.

 

I believe they are true friends and such scenario would have no effect on the bond they share.

Eventually there will be an episode were the cmc have a bit of a fight, but it will be wrapped up by the end of the episode , as the cmc are as true as friends as the mane 6.

I kind of doubt whether they'll EVER get their cutie marks lol.  Unless it's the last three seconds of the last episode that ever airs.

Actually, I do kinda wonder the same thing.  If you've got your cutie mark...  You don't really belong in the club anymore.  It's like you graduated.  I think they'd still remain friends, though.  And I feel as though the still-blank flanks would be happy for their former member.  Consider "Cutie Pox."  Scoots and Sweetie seemed to be really proud of their friend Apple Bloom and her fancy new (obtained via questionable means lol) cutie mark. xD

I'd love they don't get their cutie marks at the same time. They can either be jealous or congratulate the one who got it first. That would certainly make an interesting episode about the fate of the group.

Unfortunately I think they'll get it at the same time, considering it's originally a kids show.

I'd love to see an episode where one of them gets their cutie mark, making the others become somewhat bitter for a while. I think it'd be a great lesson for the younger viewers about the danger of jealousy among friends, and celebrating your friends successes instead of being negative toward them to make yourself feel better.

 

Definitely a lesson nearly everyone needs to learn at some point, and not one which is often addressed.

Some conflict between the CMC would be a great opportunity for some character development. Having one or even two of the CMC getting their cutie marks would prove to be an interesting dilemma. It's a nice moral to bring up as I have seen some young kids not handle jealousy all that well.

 

I can see some bitter feelings developing, but at the same time they have shown to be able to weather things and let their friendship shine through.

Technically they have already done that concept this the Cutie Pox with AB getting it. Not surprisingly SB and SL were happy and fine with AB, so if they plan to do the concept it will have to be with the other girls getting their mark before her and AB dealing with abandonment issues she had from CotC.

Funny--I've thought about this too.  On the one hand, it would be terrible, yet hilarious if one of them got their mark, and the other two kicked them out of the club.  But that wouldn't happen--they're too good of friends.

 

@: I actually think the idea of them getting there marks during the last min or so of the series finale is a great idea.  I hope they do something like that for real.

 

Incidentally, I also think it would be hilarious if one of them got their mark, and it was something completely incomprehensible, like the weirdest thing you've ever seen in your life.

Couldn't you just see Sweetie Belle going, "Horray!  I finally got my cutie mark!  ...um...what is it?  What do I do?!"  Lol.

If that were the case, then there would be some fighting between the three. Maybe some shunning. But they're going to get over with it anyway since...the other two will get their cutie marks sooner or later.

 

But I have to partially agree with at least one other poster here: They're probably going to get their cutie marks at the same time.

 

Or maybe not.
