After Pinkie's mental breakdown she was sent to the Mental Institute.
At the Institute she begins seeing things as she saw before, like how the dust the light illuminates rains down like confetti.
Pinkie slowly begins her recovery to her "happy" self.

I really liked how you are bringing the hope aspect to the artwork with the confetti in the picture, especially when you're bringing the character into the light from dark.
