I'm trying to blog and I don't know what I'm doing please help

I've wanted to make a pony blog for a long time now, and I think I've settled on my theme

EDIT: Complete Overhaul - I don't know what I'm doing so much that I completely scrapped the idea and started over.

 

I now have a human!Fluttershy ask blog, and though I have a better understanding of what I'm doing I would still appreciate advice. Also ask blogs are no fun if no one asks anything, soooo *hint hint shameless self-promotion*
