So, are there any other Stargate fans out there? 

 

My personal favorite was Atlanits, though SG-1 was great as well. 

 

While I'm on the topic, has anyone seen any good Stargate-MLP crossovers?

I'm a fan of the Stargate franchise.  While I do like the film, I have to say I like the series better, even if I haven't finished Atlantis or Universe.  But I love SG-1, which took everything good about the film and made it so much better.  As much I like the franchise, I do not care for reboot, even if it's done by the same director.  Ever since Stargate, Emmerich's work has gone steadily downhill with every film he's made for the most part.  I despised Godzilla, 10,000 B.C., and 2012.  Honestly, I keep forgetting the guy who made those also made Stargate and Independce Day.

 

Anyways, I miss the days when we got new episodes of the Stargate franchise.  I just wish they would try and make another show instead of a pointless reboot.

Recently remembered that I was in love with the Stargate series (both SG 1 and Atlantis). So I've bought them both and plan on watching them again over the next few months.

It really sucks that the series has ended for now, I freaking loved the universe that was crafted...the characters and actors tied to them. Kinda wish they would start up another series.

This was an excellent sci-fi series.  Unfortunately, it was on the sci-fi channel, and like all things actually sci-fi on the sci-fi channel it got the ax in favor of crap like Sharknado.
