What other races could there possibly exist outside of Equestria?

We have already seen some non-pony races, such as griffons, dragons, zebras, a minotaur, and a centaur. However, I'm interested what other races could exist. First, I'd like to see sea ponies, while in the past generations they looked like sea horses, but in FIM they could look more like hippocamps. Also, I'd like to see other races like nagas (snakelike people with serpentine bodies), deer, satyrs, and others.

 

What else do you think there could exist in the MLP world?

Pretty much anything, to be honest. From mundane things like elephants to hybrids like hippogriffs to real exotic things like, say, rocs. Most of the world is really a blank canvas, so you can pretty much put whatever you like in there...

Like Truth said, since we honestly don't know much about their world outside of Equestria. So there could be anything out there, Naga, Kirins, Mermaids, or even weird, hairless, ape people that have built a semi functional society.

Anywho, we have assortment of creatures as it stands. I mean what the heck is Ahuizotl? I'm sure there's a whole society of creatures like him somewhere!

There were merponies in the comic. They didn't look exactly like the older sea ponies. They have seahorse-like upper bodies and a fish tail. I'd like to see them in the show.

How about deer and moose with prehensile antlers? They have no magic, but use tentacle antlers to manipulate their world.

Humans. Normally, I'd italicize that and strike out to make a joke, but it's possible that they could exist in some other country. 

 

We've seen talking cows, buffalo, ponies, griffons, zebras, mules, donkeys....theoretically, any animal or creature could exist as a "race" inside or outside of Equestria; remember that there's so much of the world that the show or the expanded canon material hasn't touched on yet, so anything's possible!

Any animal,mythical or otherwise is a valid candidate for another species. Not to mention they can have stronger nations than Equestria. Satyrs, gazelles, lions, Chinese dragons, llamas, the list is endless.

I hope that in future episodes, they have creatures that could be interpreted as mutated humans.
