This is my Iwo Jima WWII. Iwo Jima is a little volcanic island off of Japan. Its famous because during WWII marines of the first marine division raised the stars and stripes over Mt. Sauribachi. You will be a soldier of your chose. This is a human RP no ponies. You must stick to my lead.

I am in command with Sgt. Joseph Garson you can't pick your pick rank or weapon but you can pick your personality.

RULES:

1. I'm in command anyone who doesn't follow my lead will be warned then kicked out.

2. We will be in different landing crafts but we will meet eventually.

3. We will land while the fighting is still going

10. The Japanese Americans couldn't fight in the Pacific so no one is a Japanese American

Name: PFC Darren Strank

 

Weapon: M1 Garand

 

Appearance: Long brown hair, slender but muscular build, blue eyes, M1 helmet, US Marines utility uniform, almost never seen without a cigar

 

Personality: PFC Strank has seen much action during his days in the war, that hardened him from a happy-go-lucky, full-of-life recruit to a firm and serious soldier, the kind of soldier Major General Schmidt had required since his appointment as commanding officer of the mission to invade Iwo Jima, Operation Detachment. Despite his pessimism, Strank is still a good soldier, loyal to the end and never refusing to have a bit of fun when the time was right. But when things get serious, his smile drops away, and he will fight to his last breath if he must.

 

In fact, Strank was aboard the USS Arizona the day it was sunk. When a Japanese bomb, which landed in the Arizona's ammunition magazine went off, Strank had emerged on the amidships when the explosion threw him off his feet. Fortunately, the Marine did not suffer a concussion, and knowing that the ship was doomed, he was quick to abandon it, swimming to shore under heavy fire from Japanese fighters. Horror burnt as bright as the fires that reflected off his eyes as Strank watched the Arizona capsize, the enormous hulking wreck throwing the surviving crew and Marines off its decks, to later be crushed or drowned under it. As for the men inside, well that was what forced the tears out of Strank's eyes. They were trapped in there, and knowing how thick the keel was, Strank knew there was no hope of saving them. Now, fuelled with outrage and fury at the Japanese for committing such an act, Strank was transferred to the V Amphibious Corps, a transfer he was grateful for. He was back with a vengeance, and it would be a vengeance no Jap on Earth would want to suffer.

Apperance: Blonde short hair, blue eyes, M1 helmet with green camo cover. standard marine uniform, combat boots, tan marine boot leggings.

 

Personality: Joseph has seen action before. He's been in the marines since Guadalcanal. He's the leader of his squad. He is a very serious soldier. In civilian life he was a carpenter. He hates the Japanese because during Saipian his buddy Roger Strike was captured and tortured to death by them. He has seen many of his men die. He pains him to see the men under his command die. He plans to make it safely through Iwo Jima.

Guys I know WWII was in the 40's and racial discrimination was alive back then and since Robert is a black man please in the RP don't use the N word. Also follow my fucking lead. I will kick you off if you don't. FOLLOW MY LEAD don't forget it. Also on Iwo Jima there was no banzai charges intil near the end and that was the only one. Plus follow my lead whatever i say u do. I'm sorry for saying that so much but do it. I have let inexperienced RPers by in charge no offence but didn't work out good. And i saw USMCbrony141's rp and it turned out good so I'm in charge just like him.

Appearence: tall, slender build, wears a normal marine uniform, always has the sleeve on his right arm rolled up and a pack of cigarettes in the rolls.

 

 

Personality: loyal and even tempered, but cautious. A strategic maksmen. He doesn't necessarily hate the japanese, but he hates what they have done to his country and his brothers in arms. He has trained with his rifle since he was a boy, hunting in the woods of the northeast. He olans on not wastung a single round and making sure his team puks through, no matter what.

Appearance: his hair is brown and cut very short, brown eyes, standard M1 helmet with no cover or net, standard marine uniform, combat boots, tan marine boot leggings, and black glasses.

 

Personality:

Franklin is very friendly even to new recruits showing them what to do and not to do. He was born and raised in Idaho. In cilivan life he was a high school student. In 1944 at the age of 18 he was drafted into the USMC. He is a loyal soldier and never questions his orders. He's killed and seen many men die and that's what hardened him.
