Darts threw his saddlebag on the bed and ran out of his room. He shot down the hallway and rocketed up the stairs into open air. He flew straight up until he was nearly 50 ft up and did a flip. "This is my kind of vacation!" he shouted. He did another flip a few more trick moves when he noticed something in the distance. 'that's not right!' He dived toward the ship below him, spying a guest talking to a crew member he landed next to him. "Excuse me, I need to speak to the captain immediately! Something is wrong!" He said loudly.

"Guess I'll let you deal with this," Croaks says with a smile.

He then walks off.

"Maybe I should find my room now," he said to himself.

Waves had also excused herself and retreated to her own spacious cabin. At least Mom and Dad are good for one thing.

Lucas sighs and walks down the cabins the captain had given him a luxury cabin because he didnt have his own room Lucas walks into the Cabin and looked at the bed " Thats different" He walks over to the bed and sits on it " its nicer then back home" He lifts up the quilt and looks at it confused " Dear Celestia what is this?"

Croaks takes a look at his ticket.

"Hm," he says to himself, "Standard room. Oh well. Not too picky anyways."

He passes Waves in the hallway as he makes it to his room. He scans the ticket and it let's him in. It's made up of a bedroom which takes up most of the space, a separate room which has a kitchen, a couch, and a television.

"Seems nice," Croaks says to himself with a smile, "Better than sharing a room with my older brother."

He immediately jumps onto his bed. Not so soft, actually. He feels something under the blanket. He pulls it up with a shocked face.

Lovely looked over the docks and smiled, as the sea breeze flew through her mane, it was good to be on the move. She closed her eyes and dosed off for a while until a crashing pony fell onto the deck woke her up. Lovely watched in silence as the pegasus announced himself, and rolled her eyes at his slight arrogance. "But seriously where are the rooms?" The pegasus asked which reminded Lovely that she had not put her saddle bags into her cabin yet. She lift them up and attempted to find her room.

 

After a little effort Lovely finally found her cabin, scanned the ticket and walked in, only to find a blue pegasus (Croaks) standing there gaping over his bed. "Uhm... excuse me? I think you're in my cabin..." Lovely politely says only to be ignored, which frustrated her. Lovely walked over to the bed where Croaks is standing in front of and drop her saddle bag onto of the bed (completely ignoring what is in Croaks's hooves), "don't tell me they made a mistake and assigned us to the same cabin?" Lovely asked a little peeved.

Waves was sitting down in a chair staring out the porthole.

I don't know why they're making me do this "character building" crap. This is only making it worse.

She started to pace. After a couple minutes she got bored and headed back out onto the main deck to find someone to talk to.

Croaks quickly put what was in his hooves into his pocket and said, " Um, maybe they did make a mistake. My ticket worked as well. I guess I'll go ask a crew member about this."

Croaks stumbled his way out of the door and walked down the hallway. He made it back onto the deck, but did not see the engineer there. But he remembered each room had a plaque, except for his, stating the name of the guest staying there.

He walked back down the hallway to the luxury cabins, and eventually found the engineer's. He knocks on his door, and it opens.

"Excuse me," Croaks says to him, "There seems to be something wrong with my room."

colt headed down and found his room, he got a luxury room, he walked in and closed the door, he placed his hat and sunglasses on a table and hung his jacket on a coat rack, then relaxed on the bed

Lovely noticed the blue pegasus shove something into his pocket fairly quickly. She gave him a suspicious look, although she didn't think he saw it since he wouldn't look her in the eye. What is wrong with the ponies here? She thought to herself.

"Um, maybe they did make a mistake. My ticket worked as well. I guess I'll go ask a crew member about this." The blue pegasus said to her, without introducing himself (how rude). Lovely flipped her mane, "and what could a crew member do to help exactly?" But the blue pegasus had already left the cabin, Lovely felt uneasy alone. "Hey wait! We could just share a room," she called out in vain as she peered out of the cabin, he was already gone.

Lovely packed up her sunglasses and waited in silence.

Darts ran from crew member to crew member, "emergency, where is the captain, I need to speak to him immediately!" He ran up a flight of stairs and burst through a door, he found himself on the bridge. There were a couple ponies crowded around a map and a few more over by a steering wheel. "Excuse me, which one of you is the captain, I think we're headed the wrong way" he shouted.

Keel turned his head to the source of the voice to see Darts. "I am the captain", said Keel. His expression was quizzical, in response to hearing Darts' words.

"Captain, the ship is headed for a huge fog bank! I've flown threw those before and you can't see three feet in front of your face. Your not actually going to take us in there are you?" Darts asked worriedly.

But nobody's in the doorway.

He tries to lean his head in, and trips over his own hooves.

"God, why am I so clumsy?" Croaks says to himself.

He actually walks in, but sees nobody. Perhaps he just left. He reads his ticket once again and makes it to his room. He scans his ticket and walks in. The unicorn from earlier is still there, as well as her stuff.

"Couldn't find anyone," Croaks says, "Guess we're assigned to the same room. Let me introduce myself, I'm Croaks. I believe I saw you on the deck earlier?"

Keel responded to Darts. "Sir, I appreciate the concern, but you must relax. I've been through fog banks a fair number of times, especially the one you're talking about. We will make it through, so you don't need to worry." Keel turned his view back to the front.

Lovely was stroking her mane nervously as she sat in the cabin. She couldn't shake this feeling that something horrible was about to happen. Maybe I'm just paranoid, Lovely thought to herself, but

... "Couldn't find anyone. Guess we're assigned to the same room. Let me introduce myself, I'm Croaks. I believe I saw you on the deck earlier?" Lovely let a little eep and jumped, the sudden break of thought startled her, she turned to see the blue pegasus and put her hoof of her heart, "phew, it's just you," she said relieved. There was a short awkward silence, Lovely shook her head, "uh yes" she laughed nervously, "my name is Lovely. And you saw me on the deck? Uh yes I like the sunlight and uh," Lovely began to feel self-conscious as the blue pegasus sat there politely listening to her. What is he thinking? I bet he thinks I'm crazy. I'm so werid, I'm probably scaring him off.

Suddenly Lovely's stomach growled and she blushed, "I guess I'm hungry," she smiled nervously, "But I have a horrible sense of direction, can you show me the way to the dinning hall?"

Lovely smiled naturally, that's a normal thing for a pony to say.

Waves was lurking on the deck as well, staring at the fog in the distance.

Funnnnn, she thought sarcastically, but she tried to calm her nerves about it.

Her stomach then grumbled. Might as well find some food...

Lucas Heard someone leave his room just as he came out from the shower "Better go find out whats wrong" He walks out of his room and see's Croaks walking into a room so he walks towards where he saw the pegasus and knocks on the door and thinks "Really should have dried my mane" He waits fro somepony to answer the door.

"Whatever captain, I sure hope you know what your doing." Darts turned and left the bridge. He walked to the bow of the ship and looked ahead, they were nearing the fog bank and would be lost in it by nightfall. 'I hope captain is right, that fog looks thick.' He went back inside and looked around, 'hmm it almost dinner, i wonder if there's anyone in the dining hall to talk to.' He started off toward the dining hall.

"I think I saw a dining hall upstairs, " Croaks said, "You should go up on the deck. I have something I need to," Croaks paused, looking for the right words, "Work on." he smiled thinking that he should investigate what he found under the blanket earlier.

All of a sudden there was a knock on the door.

"I'll go get that," Croaks said.

He opened the door, finding the engineer. "Oh, I knocked on your door earlier because I had a question. But it's no problem now," Croaks said, "But by the way, why doesn't this room have a plaque like the others?"

"Well we were wondering if we were assigned in the same room, or there was some kind of problem with the scanners or tickets and such," Croaks said, "Not a big deal, anyways."
