WELCOME TO PHOENIX WING!

Hello everyone!

This is a roleplay that I have wanted to do for a bit now, and I finally got around to it. Please note, however, that this RP does not take place in the Fairy Tail guild. I do not like messing with canon, so it takes place in another guild called Phoenix Wing, which is basically Fairy Tail but not actually LOL. This RP will not use canon guilds; all other guilds will be ones that have been made up solely for the story, so please do not mention other guilds! It's almost a "parallel universe" type of setting. ^^

While the beginning of the story will revolve around the guild just doing odd jobs, etc., there will eventually be a more sinister plot that emerges surrounding a Dark guild, so look forwards to that.

The members that apply for this will be a part of Pheonix Wing’s next elite team, Blazed Glory! HURRAH AND ALL THAT.

 

Rules:

1. As the DM, I have the right to reject your character prior to the start of the RP, the right to say whether or not a certain magic may be used (see the below list), and the right to eject members of the RP once it has started without explanation (I will give you one, though, haha).

2. Only one user per type of magic! If everyone in the guild uses Requip, we aren't going to have much fun experimenting or any magical diversity. Magic comes on a first-come first-serve basis, so if there is a kind you want, please apply swiftly. PLEASE NOTE THAT NPC MAGIC DOES NOT COUNT AS A TAKEN MAGIC. YOU CAN STILL USE IT IF AN NPC HAS IT.

3. Original magic is not permitted. I considered allowing it for a while, but that defeats the purpose since I feel this would become more of a superhero RP and not a Fairy Tail one. I am still open to the idea, but it really depends on the magical type.

4. As stated, this takes place in a "parallel world"; therefore, relations to canon characters or affiliations with guilds that exist in the Fairy Tail universe are not permitted, please and thank you.

5. You may use two OC's.

6. For the love of all things holy do not godmod. I get that a lot of magic in Fairy Tail is inherently really goddamn OP, but since the start of the RP makes you a basic mage, you can't take out people as strong as Natsu or Midnight or anyone like that right away.

7. This can be said for itself but don't sign up if you have no idea what Fairy Tail is, please.

 

Banned Magics:

-any type of lost and/or ancient magic (a list can be viewed here by clicking on the Lost Magic tab)

-Dragon and God slaying of any generation

-human/animal possession and control spells (doll magic like Sherry's does not count, and soul-trapping like Bickslow's does not either; it’s stuff like Mary’s that you can’t use)

-thought projection (astral bodies)

-memory altering

-Mimic (such as what Kurohebi uses)

-long-range teleportation

-black arts and shadow magic (Phoenix Wing is a legal guild, haha)

-Crash (Glidarts’ magic)

-Heavenly Body Magic (Jellal’s magic)

-magic nullification/Reflector

 

Curse is not permitted.

If you are uncertain of what magic you want to use, the link above in Banned Magics will give you a list of different kinds.

 

I know it’s a big list, but this is to keep everything fair. I don’t want us running in and having really OP magic that basically nullifies everyone else.

 

Magical Restrictions:

As a lot of you know, many of the characters in Fairy Tail are masters in their own right at their magic, so I won't have too many restrictions here. However, some of these are just for the start of the story, so if your magic is listed here, adhere to the rules of it.

REQUIP MAGIC: Erza is an S-Class mage; while the S-Class exam will eventually take place in this RP, you guys aren't yet, so if you plan to use Requip, you can't chain them instantly like Erza. I am also limiting you to three armour sets and two weapons at the beginning of the RP so that you don't already have a million like Erza, LOL. Original armours and weapons are permitted, but don't go overboard.

TAKE OVER MAGIC: Since I'm using an OC with Take Over, this won't really apply to anyone, but the amount of Take Overs you get at the beginning is just one full and one partial; you cannot yet chain them

CELESTIAL SPIRIT MAGIC: You can have one Golden key that is NOT LEO and three silver keys. Making original silver keys is permitted, but don't go overboard. You can eventually, of course, get more and more Golden keys.

• Character personality: Jovial and fun loving when relaxing with friends but during jobs he becomes overly serious about completing the job and hates when someone interrupts him while he is working. prefers to only go on jobs with others when he believes that their presence will be beneficial.

 

• Bio: grew up in the country with his mother. his father had been a wizard as well but had died before he was born. From a young age he had decided to follow in his fathers footsteps studying from his dads old books and using his old equipment he learned letter magic. He left home when he turned 18 he then began traveled around using his magic to lend aid whenever possible until he was eventually invited to join the guild phoenix wing.

 

• Abilities: Uses his fathers hand me down pen for his spells he loves to get creative with his traps making those stuck inside complete puzzles or difficult tasks to get out. (many of his spells are a bit outdated so most other letter magic users can easily rework his spells)

Character Appearance: tall. Wears a hoodie, cargo jeans and combat boots. Black hair, blue eyes,

Character Personality: loyal, but aggressive in battle. Can be flirty but doesn't womanize.

Character Biography: was trained by a sword master living in the woods. Known as the the Demon Blade, he taught Kenji hiw to use requip but for a dark purpose. Running away, after discovering this, he found the Phoenix Wing guild. He hides his past of an abusive family that led him to the Demons Blade. He now has the same technique asvhis former master.( i will wait to use until later, as it is basically a op blade an armor combination.)

Character Abilities and Known Spells/Items/Take Overs: armors; samurai, knight, dragon.(a golden, spike covered armor meant to instill fear into enemies, very heavy.)

Swords: a zanbato and a iato.

Personality: Tabris is generally quiet, and tends to stay out of the way. Prefering to do things on his own, though he rarly turns down a request for assistance. With little words Tabris seems antisocial, but is actually just surprisingly shy. This however is cast aside while in combat, or to those who work towards becoming his friend.

Biography: Tabris as long as he can remember has been alone. He was a naturalist in Air Make Magic, the main reason he had been able to survive. Though young and without a proper teacher Tabris is rather skilled with his spells enough so that he coincidently warranted the attention of the Phoenix Wing Guild as he was passing through. After hearing his story, and judging him overall, Reagan allowed him a place within the Guild. Needing a stable home with the benefit of learning to focus his magic, Tabris gladly accepted.

Abilities: Air Make: Pulse, Vacuum, Wall, Needle, Palm, Claw, Fang, Glove, Boot, Blade, Twister.

Can I write up a sheet for Yvette Demons Blade npc. I ask because when we our just running around doing odd jobs, I plan on involving him. As an npc specifically. As he is an s-class, he would be complete pony compared to mine but his only interest would be Kenji. Either killing or taking back.

I'd prefer that you don't make a NPC (especially an S-Class) as they're only really filler for the guild so it's not just an independent guild...however, PM me and we can negotiate a possible use for them as a villain later in the RP?

• Bio: His mother was a wizard but she soon became ill and eventually died. Devastated by his loss he traveled the world getting training from wherever he could. Eventually the Phoenix Guild accepted him. 

 

• Abilities: Uses gun magic with a sharp eye and and fast reflexes his preferred weapon is a revolver. Though If angry he can miss

Character Appearance: Red and messy hair. White scale like vest along with blackish short pants, blue eyes. Looks like hes in his teenage years and is not very tall.

Character Personality: Mostly cold and emotionless until he loosens up to a person where he becomes friendlier although he gets awkward alot more and acknowledges that.

Character Biography: Born and abandoned by his parents due to having an incurable disease without a name, he lived with this curse as he called it his whole life and with huge effort was able to survive barely until he got to a city and a nice old lady treated him to dinner and found work for him, once he was able to survive on his own he waved goodbye to the old lady and left to a guild named ''Pheonix Wing''.

Character Abilities and Known Spells/Items/Take Overs: Celestial magic (i have a question, can one be another type of maker? Or do you just want one maker type? I'm not going to become a maker if its allowed.)

Gold key: Aries.

Silver keys (Lets get creative!): Gate of the treasure chest. Mura, a spirit who can store alot of stuff inside itself although it doesnt fit any living things. Gate of the Pet Nuran. Summons a lively animal shifting little gnome who protects its owner or just wants to be friendly with them. Gate of the Chameleon. Summons a chameleon looking dwarfish humanoid creature which can turn itself and up to two people invisible for a short period but moving breaks this.

2. the only healing based magic I know of is sky magic which is unfortunately is a lost magic and isn't permitted for this RP.
