Hazmat was cutting off the exo-skeleton from the Rad Roach before getting the meat out of it. He looked up at the group and then found some clothe. He placed the meat in the cloth and wrapped it up. 'I got food, now I need water, a weapon, and some caps' He thought. He grabbed the shard of metal and found a long, thick piece of cloth and wrapped it around it, making a make-shift knife. ED-E used his zapper to kill another Rad Roach that had wondered near the group.

Noble checked to find his own belongings. A skintight suit of leather armor that seemed to cover the entire body except for the head, a dark longcoat, a humble 10mm pistol with matching holster made to be worn on the chest, and three magazines of ammunition. He slid the armour on and proceeded to fasten the belts and zippers the held it in place. Next came the holster, which fit over his chest easily and buckled into place with his pistol safely placed away. Finally, he put on the longcoat which obscured his weapon from view.

 

“I agree with Scarf Pony. If we stick together as far as town, we can plan the next move from there.” He said, before turning his attention to the bodies of the slavers. He gave it a moment’s thought before deciding to go through their stuff. While he initially found the act of taking a dead pony’s belongings distasteful, even if they were slavers, he convinced himself that they didn’t need the gear anymore.

 

‘Clinging to ideals from the Stable would likely get me killed. As distasteful as looting corpses is, those who take advantage of these resources have a headstart on those who don’t. Even so, the only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.’

Hazmat looked at Noble and said "The name is Hazmat... " Hazmat felt weird to not have his radiation suit. He continued to look for supplies. He then looked at ED-E and said "ED-E go kill some more Rad Roaches and Geckos so we will have enough food for the trip." ED-E made a beeping noise and flew over to an area of tall-ish grass. He began to shoot any animal that came out of it. Hazmat went into the building and searched through almost any container for some bottles of water. He was also looking for RadX.

"Well i guess we should go to this appleloosa place then then go our seperate ways " Runic said a bit eager to get going.

 

"Wont they kill me on sight? or at least point guns at me or something i'd prefer not to cause a riot just because i'm an alicorn now and if you guys were wondering no i'm not with this 'Unity' anymore i was suddenly disconnected from her and regained the memory of my past life so if anything i kinda have conflicting personalities. Which was why you guys see me sobbing like a foal in that slaver caravan" Daybreak paused for a moment "oh and if you guys were wondering how i got disconnected from The Unity is because of the pink cloud and thanks to it i forgotten how to fly and use some of my spells" she said.

 

(I assume being disconnected from The Unity doesn't mean you forget the memories you obtained before being disconnected so yea).

"Well alright then, going to Appleloosa sounds like a fine plan. I have to ask Optyx, I can't make decisions on my own that could effect the both of us. I'm sure he'll probably go along with it."

 

Optyx came back to the group, the thing he saw had vanished. That was alright, it was probably nothing to begin with.

Hazmat didn't find anything and walked out of the building. He took a desperado hat off of one of the Slavers and put it on. He looked at everypony, "if I can get my hooves on some empty syringes, broc flower, and xander root I can make us some stimpaks." He looked at ED-E and said "whats the safest route to New Apploosa?" ED-E made a beeping noise. "No that will take too long, whats the safest but shortest route?" ED-E made a beeping noise. "Alright, well what threats could run into" ED-E made another beeping noise "Rad Roaches and Geckos... really those arn't that dangerous..." ED-E then made a sad sounding beeping noise. "Oh, fire geckos... hmmm, What do you all think?"

“Guns are a possibility. After all, that’s how we got into this mess. But there’s bound to be a few of us who can talk our way into town with you. But there’s another thing we need to address. Who’s going to lead us, even if it’s just as far as New Appleoosa?” Noble said, putting forward a somewhat cheery and nonchalant demeanour, as if he were taking everything in stride. But inside, he was watching and analyzing, hoping to learn more about the world he’d stepped into.

 

He glanced from the quiet mare sitting by the fire to the Alicorn with split personalities. If he were able to learn more and try to sway one of them to his side, he’d have much greater chances of surviving the surface. Or so he hoped. A lot could go wrong considering his lack of experience with the wasteland, but he could gain a lot if this went well. And considering he was now wearing all of his possessions, what did he have to lose?

DeadEdge looked at everyone, "A leader?" She said with a smile while looking to her partner. Optyx looked at her blankly through his visor.

"Come on Optyx, you've lead a large group before and it was easy. Come on please?"

 

Optyx put his head down and looked at everyone, "It's your choice, I've lead a large group before, but my methods don't work with everyone, if you want someone who knows there way around and can guide you safely and cleanly I can do that."

"Count me out for being leader, I know the Wasteland like the back of my hoof, but I would put all of you in danger, with the Enclave hunting me down for ED-E and every Raider and Slaver trying to kill me." Hazmat said. ED-E  made a beeping noise. Hazmat looked at ED-E and rolled his eyes.

"A leader? Personally I'm not fit for the job... I'm just a doctor that can't shoot a gun straight if his life depended on it. I'll leave it up to ya'll" 

Patches glared at the robot nearby. Weird... Just don't pay attention to it. Just live to see tomorrow.

"So going off that statement does anyone have any injuries?"

Steel decides to give the group a test, he stands up and aims his rifle at the alicorn, he eyes the group, in his raider armor he is sure to get a good reaction out of them.

 

"Everypony drop your weapons or the alicorn gets it, and don't try anything funny, we have you surrounded"

Hazmat looked at the raider. He stepped in between the raider and the alicorn and said "Really... that is the oldest trick in the book, the old 'we have you surrounded!' trick, if you really had us surrounded, why would you only send one pony out, when you could just have everypony show themselves to prove it..." ED-E made a beeping noise that sounded like if he was laughing before charging up his zapper and an audio recording came out of his speaker 'you feel lucky, punk!' the recording was from a pre-war movie from when ED-E was part of the Ministry of Morale.

Blue Optyx dropped smoke bombs covering the entire camp, 'The guy probably has Infrared' he thought, 'I'll have to move the group away fast.'

 

DeadEdge raised her rifle and began shooting aimlessly in the direction of the shooter to try and suppress him. "Quick everyone let's move now!"

Steel lowered his rifle slightly, and decided to give one more test.

 

He kicks a rock into the smoke, and shouts.

 

"Grenade out"

 

The rock lands with a thud, everypony would be sure to here it, so all he had to do was wait.

 

He crouched back down and hid again in the bushes.

A rock hit Hazmat's hoof. He just picked it up and walked out of the smoke. "How stupid do you think we are..." Hazmat then looked at DeadEdge and said "Correction, How stupid do you think I am..." He then tossed the rock aside and turned to DeadEdge "Will you stop firing that thing..." ED-E flew over to Hazmat and made a beeping noise. Hazmat then looked at ED-E and said "I know, it seems that raiders get stupider and stupider everyday."

Steel chuckles and starts to run through the smoke, a big grin on his face, he fires a shot at ED-E, the round wouldn't do any major damage, its just retaliation for calling him stupid.

 

He accidentally bumps into the Alicorn, his grin still plastered on his face.

 

"Hey there"

 

he then runs off, jumping to the other side of the smoke.

Daybreak gave Steel a stern glare when he bumped into her and watched him ran off she definitely needed a gun or at least a really sharp rock but for now she's just gonna run through the smoke and hopefully reach a clearing.

Runic cough a bit before taking out her dart gun loading it with a few darts she then ran through the smoke.

ED-E flinched from the bullet hitting him and played his theme out of his speaker before flying after Steel. Hazmat went after ED-E to help him. Once ED-E shot the Raider's rifle before tackling him. Hazmat and ED-E ran and tackled the raider. ED-E stopped flying, knowing that his weight would probably be enough to hold the raider down. Hazmat looked at Steel and said "you really need to start thinking your plans through..." Hazmat snatched up the raider's rifle. "Really even if you did, it would still fail. I take care of punks like you for a living... and because your clearly new at this, mostly because you made the mistake of coming alone." ED-E made a sad beeping noise. Hazmat looked at ED-E and said "Get over it, it barely left a dint in your new armor." ED-E then made another beeping noise. "get over it..." Hazmat replied.

Steel coughed and started to laugh.

He manages to raise a hoof slightly, towards Hazmat, almost as if he wants to shake Hoofs.
