"I think we should keep moving," Hamza says. The group continues down the empty street furthermore.

Venkat scowled. "Could your coughing be any louder? Cough drops work wonders..."

Cody had been wandering around the alleys near the street the group is now currently on. He heard movement and a coughing noise and whatever instincts he still has tells him to chase down and kill. He begins to work his way towards the group coming up from behind.

"Doesn't seem to be any walkers. Lets rally up and move out." Donovan proclaimed, "Also, Ralf; I don't know what you did before this, but I can't trust you if you can't trust me. You need to stop holding these immature grudges and get over your issues."

Nearing his prey Cody speeds up slightly, now able to see and hear them. He stumbles over some nearby debris and ends up pushing an empty shopping cart into the wall, creating a fair amount of noise. This is apt to draw other walkers to the spot if any do happen to be nearby. He then starts to stand up slowly so as to continue his chase, moaning from time to time.

"The f*** was that?"

"Hold up."

Donovan looks toward Cody's direction and spots him.

"Just a walker, but he just made a considerate amount of noise. Lets get out of here"

Hamza says, "But look; There's more."

He pointed towards more walkers that were coming towards the group around Cody.

"S**t we gotta go!"

Jason struggled to contain the fear that was bubbling inside of him. He unslung his shotgun for what seemed like the millionth time.

 

"If we leave now then we risk them following us back to Rick's family" he said grimly "If we don't leave we get massacred, which option do you prefer Donovan?"

"Rick was planning to head out of here once we met, just ignore them and lets get to Rick."

 

"Hurry now!"

Jason followed Donovan who in turn followed Rick. He glanced back at the others.

 

"C'mon then, not sure about you but I don't feel the need to be digested today"

[Croaks 251]

The walkers were stumbling faster now.

"I think we should start running instead of fast-walking," Hamza said, "I'm getting nervous."

One walker got a bit too close to Hamza, scaring him. As soon as the walker was about to grab him, Hamza panicked and hooked the curved end of the crowbar into the walker's eye.

"We need to go faster!" Hamza yelled.

"Save yourselves for now! I'll hold them off! Go two blocks down and meet Rick!"

"Shotgun time!" Ralf chuckled, bracing himself.

"Two blocks? Ok..."

 

Jack turns to leave, before glancing back and throwing his old Nambu pistol to Donovan.

 

"Take this old thing. I was never any good with it... It just slows me down."

The group moves on as more walkers appear. Hamza sees Donovan shooting a few walkers, backing up, and repeating.

Since Hamza's on the side of the group, another walker tries to grab him or another person. Hamza kills one or two, then lets someone else fight one.

Eventually the group is moving faster, and more wakers appear.

Still running, Jack stops for a few seconds to catch his breath and to look back at the rest of the group. He had ran too far from them, and without his gun he suddenly felt vunerable, even though it was useless to him. Jack turn again just in time to see a walker only a few metres away, making his way at some speed toward him with hunger in its eyes.

 

"A-ah! H-help sombody! Help!"

BOOM! "Next time, keep the gun. You gonna box 'em to death?"

"Spray and pray time," sighed Venkat, hoisting his M4A1 to his shoulder.

[Dragonshy 2,305]

"NO! MOVE NOW! I NEED YOU TO KEEP MOVING I"M HOLDING THEM OFF!" Donovan says, after shooting a distant walker in the head. "SH*T! MOVE NOW! VENKAT MOVE WITH THE GROUP!"

"And what happens when you run out of ammo?" Venkat laughed. "Your gun's gonna turn into a club. At least this way you won't die as easy."

[Dragonshy 2,305]

"I'VE GOT TWO MORE MAGS! RUN WITH THE GROUP NOW! ITS MY ONE LIFE OR THE ENTIRE GROUPS LIVES!" Donovan screamed after shooting another walker in the head.

Venkat shrugged. "Nah, sorry, I'm just as suicidal as you are."

He fired a burst into a walker creeping up behind them. "Too bad you don't have eyes in the back of your head."

(I control the game, as I said I am the "Dungeon Master". There was no walker, you can only affect what you can actually affect in the game with you character. No making up mobs or anything your character couldn't do.)

 

Donovan turns to Venkat and points his gun at Venkat's head. "You need to go with the group. Fifteen seconds." Donovan says as he turns toward the street and blasts another walker.
