Hmmm looking at the earlier posts in this thread, I fear that some people have mixed up the definitions of criticisms and insults.

I want to help others gain a better understanding between the two:

A criticism is a way to express concern or disapproval of something while usually being constructive and respectful.

Meanwhile, insults are the opposite.

Insults are intended to hurt someone without helping people improve and give no feedback whatsoever.

I can't say I do. Even if I think a negative opinion of something I like or liked seems unjustified It doesn't get under my skin, I'm very happy just liking what I like in a live let live sort of way.

No, not really, I might feel confused if the criticism isn't really serious or doesn't make sense, but other than that I don't really care. I'll be the first to admit that a lot of the media I watched as a kid had flaws and was far from perfect. I think it's important to hold close the things you feel nostalgia or sentimental feelings towards while also acknowledging that it has flaws.

My medicine will make me over aggressive towards any subject. But it is especially bad if I am passionate about it. This is why I did not want to talk about it.
