The Goku vs. Superman battle is easily up there for me. It is quite well animated for what it is, I hate both of the characters, and the huge contrast in the Like/Dislike ratio is hilarious, because it is basically tied.

 

I also have to give credit for the RD vs. Starscream one, just for simply having RD win. Not because I am a Brony, but for having a character like that win against a beloved 'boy childhood' icon. Well, maybe not icon, but apart of an iconic series I suppose. Some might say they were appeasing to Bronies, maybe so, but that is a lot better than appeasing to people that might be clinging to gender role nonsense. I really hate that gender role stuff.

 

I need to watch more of these I just realized. There are many that I have missed.

Also no, Starscream is not even close to being an icon or anything similar. He was the most annoying whinny b**tch I've ever seen. He was kinda cool, though.

On the new Death Battle, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The analysis featured a nice expanded bit with Batman, and for me, it was kind of an introduction to Captain America as I know next to nothing about him.

 

It was nice to see a return of the 2D sprite fights, and I was happy with the conclusion, so yeah. Good battle! Not a favorite, but a good one!

 

Still, Godzilla vs. Gamera reigns supreme for me.

 

And I will say this, I would love to see them try the Galactica Empire vs. the United Federation of Planets. Of course, the latter is more than likely outmatched in resources, power, and land, but...I just wanna see it; Death Battle style. XD

Darn. I should really check out some of the newer ones that have come out, it's been ages!

 

I'm not fussed on the analysis, more the comedic aspect appeals to me, though with all those extra things I find it all the more enjoyable. I suppose I really like all of them I guess!

Hm... I cannot think about which one had the best comedy... Maybe He-Man vs Lion-O, the humor is mostly on the fight, so you might enjoy it.

When is comes to reliability, Death Battle isn't all that great. Sometimes they use info from non-canon sources, sometimes there's bias, and sometimes they're just flat-out wrong. However, they are still very entertaining.

I agree on everything with you. They make lots of mistakes and they don't give any excuse. But since this is a non-canon crossover show I guess it doesn't matter.

I don't think they'll bring any transformer for an actual battle for a long time. Since Wiz himself admitted that he never watched G1 Transformers, and that he had to watch the entire first season of it. I don't think he'll do it again.

He-Man vs Lion-O, purely because of He-Man's habit of flexing to his own theme song mid-battle, and the Lion-O's face when he realized He-Man was tossing a mountain at him. (Sword of Omens...are you f*****g kidding me?!)
