Isn't lore Alduin universal?

Forgive me, but I've failed to understand the question. Could you perhaps go into greater detail?

Also, I greatly respect the fact that you're fighting for your opinion even if it isn't popular!

Any problem that you may experience on this site can be solved immediately if you simply throw Fluttershy into a wood chipper.   You can trust me on this, because I'm an administrator. Would I lie?

Game version is unimpressive. Lore version:

According to "The Seven Fights of the Aldudagga", Alduin's status as the World Devourer is fairly literal, as he manages to consume at least all of Nirn (albeit gradually) in a short period and was fairly huge in size (his "coils" covered every portion of the planet save for seven peaks, including High Hrothgaar and Vvardenfell's Red Mountain); just snorting from his nostrils released numerous consumed farms, he could casually devour whole mountains and counties, etc.

His most dangerous aspect as the "World Devourer" though, is easily his ability to consume time and space, triggering the death of one "kalpa" (basically a universe in TES lore terms) and initiating the birth of another. Probability also works in Alduin's favour, considering it's basically destiny for him to eat a universe away. A far lesser but still potent application of this temporal-manipulation can be seen in Lore!Alduin managing to literally eat away years off the lifespan of the entire Nordic people, to the point that they spent an intermediate period of time in history as perpetual seven-year-olds IIRC.

Lore!Alduin is also effective at dealing powerful curses; he transforms the "kindly" Demon Leper King into the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon in order to teach him a lesson about forcibly extending kalpas when fate said otherwise.

Another important thing to remember about Lore!Alduin is that he literally devours everything: there is even an absence of space within the "consumed" region, as seen when The Greedy Man (Leper King's accomplice in prolonging the kalpa), attempting to flee into Red Mountain only for it to be devoured by Alduin, resulted in disappearing into the void between kalpas/universes.

Either way, it's a mismatch. Games in Luna's favor, Lore in Alduin's.

If you want to pack that, fine, but her destructive force is so much less than that. Chrysalis's laser hit only an inch away from Celestia's gold crown, and didn't even scratch it. Nightmare Moon's lasers struggled to destroy buildings. Twilight felt the need to shield herself from getting slammed into a mountain

There's just no collateral, happens a lot in verses, especially ones where you want to keep characters and locations on the map.

You've literally just stated all the reasons why Luna can't win! Also, I saw nothing about dragonrend in that post. All you did was tell us how awesome Alduin is! Are you trying to sabotage your own argument?   :wat:

I guess that'll have to do for now. Anyway, I'm off to bed.

I show respect for my characters, which means I know their limits. In this instance, dragonrend doesn't even matter; Luna can't harm a universal entity.

And no, i'm not trying to sabotage my argument. I went into this debate trying to find the truth, and I did. That means more to me than pride; i'm not afraid to admit when i'm beaten.

Besides, withholding information, good or bad, is dishonest. I can't really call myself a debater winning like that.
