So the ending where the portal between the pony world and human world is permanent, you think Sunset Shimmer MIGHT actually be in season 5? I mean why else would they do this? Genepool 224 September 29, 2014 Share September 29, 2014 I rather things stay separate entities, though, to be honest, I doubt that's gonna happen. We've already seen Brad/Flash Sentry/whatever in S4, including a semi-speaking role in the S4 finale as he announced the delegates. Hasbro wants the two things linked. This gives them the opportunity to bridge that gap. S5 could have an episode dedicated to the mirror where the Mane6 get swapped with their counterparts in Equestria, Sunset Shimmer is the only one who can fix the problem and becomes the bridger of worlds or something along those lines. (If she knew magic..but its a struggle still since she'll have to LEARN it and do basic things still) I can imagine something similar to all those creepypasta Twilight's with science as the base. Princess Twilight is creating this alternate Twilight identity that will likely be pushed on Scientist Twilight. Blah blah, your current choices in life aren't right. I would love to so Sunset Shimmer return to Ponyville now, at least have a heart to heart with Celestia. Yep yep, I expect a sort of "what if" scenario will be one of the plot lines of her full introduction. That EQG Twilight would be the result never having been sent to learn about friendship from her mentor due to the skewed nature of the dual worlds. In episode 1, Twilight got angry that Celestia was pushing her to make friends. In EG, this logically seems to be more volatile given that her own independent identity is threaten.
