Nabbed it, no sense in passing up a game for under a quarter.

Another thing, who wants to explain the humble bundle to me? Because I don't know if I really get it, i've never used it, but I hear about it a lot, but It doesn't really make sense to me exactly. Like how are you supposed to pay any price you want for games? Couldn't I just pay 1 dollar for everything then?

It's pay what you want, but if you want Steam keys for the games, the minimum amount is $1. If you pay $1 you'll get the base package of games. If you beat the average, you'll get some bonus games.

If you pay at least a specific amount (like $12 in the current bundle), you get that bonus which is in this case Total War. Up that to $50 and you'll get a shirt.

You can technically get away with paying one cent, but it's kind of a dick move since you'll end up costing them money due to payment processing fees.

I paid $4 for the last one(mainly wanted Nights and the Sonic stuff), still waiting for more games to unlock to see if I want to put more into it.

In other news, I'd just like to say that the GPU I am going to get apparently went down from $189 to $149, but it's sold out now right now ;/. Oh well. Hopefully it'll stay down and not go back up. Mostlikely my future GPU

There's a Sapphire model still in stock for ~$140 AR. Not as good as the deal you linked but not a bad price for a 270X.

Argonians, good choice. :D

Breathing underwater sounded cool(and I also like Scalies and got tired of always going the boring route and picking human Characters in Elder Scrolls games)

Oh, boy, do I have some recommended mods for you...

Don't do it, man. You're gonna ruin the vanilla game forever for him and he's gonna spend all his time modding instead of playing. . .

Shoot away, I already have the shit modded out of my Fallout 3 and plan to mod this to once I put some hours into vanilla(or maybe some lighter modding that won't make me feel like I'm cheating for trophies right now)

Just thought I'd let y'all know if you didn't know already that Sonic generations just got added to the humble sega humble bundle. https://www.humblebundle.com/

Thanks, might dump in another $4 for those two extras.

Nevermind: I guess since I put in $4 I get those by default. That's kind of a cool feature that makes me inclined to use the site more.

 Okay.

  1. SkyUI. Makes the menus more mouse-friendly, like they should be. This mod also requires the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE), which means you need to launch it through that too.
  2. Run for your Lives and When Vampires Attack. Makes it so that people run away when a dragon or vampire attacks instead of trying to fight it. I believe the latter requires Dawnguard, so be aware of that.
  3. Blaze of Eventide. Not quite lore-friendly, but it gives you a summonable, flaming horse that can also explode on demand.
  4. Kagrenac's Instant Fortress. It's a portable player home.
  5. Coins into Septims. Replaces the nonsensical Coin name for Septims with Septim, like they should be called.
  6. Auto Unequip Helmet. When you put away your weapons, it automatically unequips your helmet, and when you draw your weapons it automatically equips it.
  7. Exploding Chickens. Not lore-friendly in the slightest, but it provides so much entertainment  :adorkable:
  8. Spooky Scary Skeletons. Again, not lore-friendly in the slightest, but it is funny. Basically, Spooky Scary Skeletons plays whenever you're near a skeleton. I love it.
  9. Scenic Carriages. Removes the loading screen for carriages and makes it so that you actually see the entire trip.

I'd also recommend some ENBs, but I'd suggest getting a better GPU first  :P  My GTX 760 can barely handle a lot of them.

Ran some benches.

A lot of those mods are on the Workshop, actually. Just Scenic Carriages came from the Skyrim Nexus.

Is the one that makes NPCs run away instead of fighting still there? I'd like to keep the causalities from the Dawngaurd Vamp attacks down.

No, that's When Vampires Attack. Scenic Carriages removes loading screens from carriages, so you see the entire trip instead of just a loading screen. Helps with immersion imo.

I know, I was asking if it the former was on the workshop.

Yes. So is Run For Your Lives!, which makes NPCs run away when a dragon attacks.

As I said before, all of them except the Scenic Carriages one are on the workshop.

Thanks, I'll look into some of them.

You're welcome. Have fun ruining the game!

I found a mod that makes Highlander Immortals a playable race complete with hiding some of the big-bads(packing their unique swords) in the game as bosses. It's tempting for a separate play-through.

 Okay.

Okay, I added both the "keep NPCs from being stupid around homicidal things" and the "Turn coins into Septum" mod because I don't want to "break" the game/cheat before I earn the trophies.

Ruins in one way, but makes the game so much better in another ;p.

Yeah, It's my first time actually buying a humble bundle, I put 4 dollars in because I figured why not since it seemed worth it enough for the games, and I was quite happy to see Sonic generations get added in even though I was already happy to get so many games for so cheap. ;p

So I'm liking it thus far.

I'm using Steam, so I need Steam-friendly mods.

It's up to you, but I personally much prefer using a mod manager to steam for my modding of Skryim(Well it's the only game I've really modded any, but still.) I mean the workshop is easier to get stuff from I guess, but not by a whole ton, plus I find I have more control with a mod manager. (I.E mod organizer) That's just me though, just a suggestion.
