Ali-Mei's dreams were nondescript at first, the typical walking through Ponyville and flying kinds of dreams. Then she moved into one where she was on a hill, and Rising stood far away on another hill. She waved at him, and he waved back, grinning. Then he flew off, and Ali-Mei gave chase.

 

They flew for a long time, until Rising flew down and landed near a random gazebo in the middle of a meadow. Not questioning her dream's logic, Ali-Mei followed and landed beside him.

Rising open his eyes. He looks around, seeing himself on a cloud. He looks to the night sky, watching the moon and the sparkling stars in the far distance.

 

"What a beautiful night ..."

 

He looks away, looking down, seeing a mare walking alone. He knows this mare better then anypony ... Ali-Mei.

In the center of the gazebo was a statue of a rearing pony; all around it was a circular bench. Rising led Ali-Mei to the bench, and she sat down. "This is nice," she said.

 

Rising sat down next to her and put his hoof around her. He didn't say anything, which the non dream-Rising wouldn't have done, but Ali-Mei didn't mind, as it was just a dream anyway. The part of her brain that knew it was a dream was happy that she got to spend time with Rising even in her dreams.

Rising flies down, landing in front of her, smiling wide. Ali-Mei looks up, smiles wide back.

 

"You know, you truly falled from the sky."

 

She grins, kissing his cheek. Rising grins back, kissing her noise.

 

"Same goes for you."

 

Ali-Mei hugged him tight, Rising returns the hug.

Ali-Mei sat with Rising for a while; then he got up and told her, "Hang on, I'll be right back." Thinking he was probably going to go find a colt's room, Ali-Mei stayed put, waiting for Rising to return.

 

Time always passes quickly in dreams; still, Ali-Mei knew Rising had been gone a lot longer than she expected when he finally came into view, flying back towards her.

They just hugging for hours, until she pulls back.

 

"I uhhhhhh ... got something for you ..."

 

She start to blush. Rising looks a bit confused.

 

"Go ahead, what is it?"

 

Ali-Mei looks to him, then smiles wide, pulling out a ring. Rising's eyes widen in this surprise.

 

"Do you want to marry me?"

[AHAHA YOU BEAT ME TO IT XD That's funny! Here, have a brohoof for that /) ]

 

Rising landed in front of Ali-Mei. "I'm back," he said a bit breathlessly.

 

"Wow, where have you been?" she laughed, smiling.

 

"I went to get this..." Rising smiled back at her, and pulled a little black box seemingly out of nowhere. Ali-Mei's heart sped up, and as Rising started to blush, he opened the box, revealing (what else? :3) a ring. "Will you marry me, Ali-Mei?"

Rising looks to her, totally speechless. He just look to her eyes and the ring between them in his view. It took like forever, before he takes a deep breath and say:

 

"Of course!"

 

Ali-Mei jumped up happily, hugging him tight and kissing him. Rising smiles wide and kissing her back.

Ali-Mei stared in (pleasant) shock at the ring for a few moments, then squealed. "Yes!!" she cried, throwing her hooves around Rising and kissing him. He kissed her back, wrapping his own hooves around her.

They just standing there, kissing each other, lips on lips. Like 2 puzzle pieces fitting perfectly in a 1.000 pieces puzzle. Both feeling the sensation, like a firewo-...no, wait, a real firework appears in the background, because it's suddenly night already.

[Dreams: Taking you from afternoon to nighttime in the blink of an eye...or the space of a kiss, lol]

 

Ali-Mei kissed Rising for what seemed like forever, feeling as though she could stay in this wonderful feeling for the rest of her life and never grow tired of it. She felt his hooves around her, felt his lips on hers and knew that she would never be without him again, not for the rest of their lives.

Music starts to play out of nowhere-oh, right, ponies are used too sudden music. Firework still firing, when both release from the kiss.

 

"W-Wow ... that was wonderful, Rising"

 

"Indeed ... Indeed it was. Love you so much Ali-Mei." Rising smiles and nuzzling her cheek.

 

Ali-Mei smiles wide, letting him nuzzle her cheek. "I love you too, Rising Shine."

When at last Ali-Mei and Rising separated, she gazed up at him, unable to stop smiling. "I love you, Rising," she said warmly, still hugging him.

They both stand there for a while, smiling to each other. Everything just feels so good. Until ...

 

Rising open his eyes.

 

"Urghhhhhh ... already morning?"

 

He looks ouside, seeing Luna's moon still in the air.

 

"What? I don't even had a nightmare, why did I woke, ughhh ..."

 

Rising walks to the toilet for short.

Ali-Mei opened her eyes, still feeling Rising's hooves around her. It took her a moment to come back to earth; when she did, she looked at the little window, knowing already that it wasn't morning yet. She sat up, figuring it would be best to sit there for a bit now that she was awake. She then heard a door open, and then another door open and close. A few minutes' passing told her what it was - Rising going to the bathroom. Huh, he woke up around when I did...that's funny.

 

She lay back down and closed her eyes, and soon fell back asleep.

After work done, he walks back to his bedroom, trying to be quiet to not wake her. He lays down again in his bed, cuddling into his blanket. After few minutes, he slowly fall asleep again. And whatever his dream was at the end, it was a good one, because he smiled for the rest of the night.

Ali-Mei woke up the next morning with the sun coming through her window, so she knew it was daytime. She sat up and stretched, then sat there drinking in the cozy morning atmosphere in the room for a few minutes. Then she got up and went out into the hall.

Rising wakes up, when it's already light outside. He smiles, standing up and looking out of the window.

 

"What a beautiful morning"

 

He stretch his body, then make his way to the hall, seeing Ali-Mei.

 

"Hey, my beautiful, gorgeous mare. Sleep good this night?"

 

He smiles.

Ali-Mei smiled back at Rising. "Good morning! I slept wonderful, thank you. Did you sleep good too, my handsome prince?" she asked, grinning.

 

She wondered if she should tell him about the dream she'd had yet, then decided not to yet. I'd better not, otherwise if I ever decided to be the one to get the ring in the future, he wouldn't be as surprised.

Rising blushes, but keep smiling ... of course, she is happy, so is him.

 

"Never sleeped better in my entire life then today. Thanks to the appearing of a gorgeous mare in it."

 

He kiss her cheek, smiling wide to her. Still he better don't tell her yet what he dreamed.

Ali-Mei kissed his cheek back. "Aww! My dream had a certain amazing stallion in it," she said, grinning and remembering the happy feeling she'd had in the dream. "It was a wonderful dream."

 

"So, what's for breakfast?" she asked him, smiling.

"I have no idea. Didn't expected end up with a beautiful mare in my home, mayby I have to buy something later. I guess, I should have some toast in the kitchen."

 

Rising smiles.

 

"And I had a super cute mare in my dream, a beautiful dream with my special snuggle pony."

 

Rising grins, before he makes his way to the kitchen.

"Toast sounds good," Ali-Mei said, smiling. "If you'd slept at my house, I wouldn't have had much better for breakfast," she added with a giggle. "We both need to stock up, hehe."

 

Ali-Mei blushed as she followed Rising to the kitchen. "Aww, snuggle pony? That's so sweet, thank you!" She went up beside him and kissed his cheek.

Rising smiles wide and kissing her cheek back.

 

"Only the best for my best mare."

 

He walks to the kitchen, taking out some toast and start preparing them.

 

"Anything in mnd, you ant on them? Salad, cheese etc.? I should have some sauces too still."

 

He smiles, looking to her.

"Just cheese would be nice," Ali-Mei said, smiling back at Rising. "What about you, what'll you have?"

 

She kept watching Rising. Was it really only yesterday morning that I was waking up alone? she thought. It's amazing to think that within the space of twenty-four hours you can wake up to see your special somepony instead.
