Decent for a first try.

If you want my critique, you should learn a little bit of human anatomy, like taking classes or browsing pictures of the human skeleton. Your human has awkward legs and is a little too thin. Otherwise you should keep on trying, as this drawing is a good start to drawing humans. Also, I like her hair. :D

Most people don't bother with full body shots when they first start drawing  humans, I really admire the fact that you went for it.

Good point: The hair and face is cute, she certainly has a sweet personality. You have also drawn her in a innocent shy pose which adds to that personality, good job!

Advice: The body is a little awkward. I'd recommend looking at some tutorials! I particularly like this one because it shows a great technique were you use shapes to get the bodies proportions correct. I think it's a good method for people starting to draw. http://www.deviantart.com/art/Basic-Body-Tutorial-447875458

Once you get the proportions down and understand how the human body actually looks, you can start to be more stylized and experimental with your characters bodies, like in cartoons like Stevens universe and total drama island.

its good for a first try indeed though to critique I would work on the legs and the stomach area, the legs look too big for the small stature of the stomach so maybe add an equal amount to the stomach just to make it a fuller figure (lol that doesn't sound right)
