Grimlocke let out grunts of anger, swinging his head to the side Bjorn was on in an attempt to break free of the hold.

 

He got struck in the shoulder and back a couple of times from Grimlocke swinging his head at him, though compared to the blow he took from Ferrous, it was not too bad.

Keeping his grip tight, with a light grunt, he used full force and tried to topple Grimlocke onto his back.

"Lemme go!" Grimlocke protested, squirming around wildly. Eventually, he stopped moving and laid his head on the ground. "I...surrender" he said, sighing in defeat.

Upon hearing his opponent yielding, he loosened the grip on him, grabbed his arm, and helped Grimlocke up almost forcibly. He then gave Grimlocke a light nod, before going over to his sword, pulling it back out from the ground, and placing it back on his back.

"Come. No time. Fight. Smash Ribose" Ferrous hissed, putting more emotion into his blank voice. He still sounded bored, despite his inner rage. The rest of the bulky gjinkas nodded, pounding their chest once and saluting to the legendary. "Onward" Ferrous commanded, marching forward at a steady pace

Through his roots, William could feel multiple heavy thuds heading towards the camp. "You should probably leave Nyx, things may turn ugly. There's either going to be a stampede of wild Tauros running towards the camp, or Viral's heavy corps are mobilizing, and considering the fact that Ribose recently killed one of Viral's elites, I'd place my money on the latter." He said as he withdrew his roots from the ground, sucking them back in to his sleeves and in to his skin.

 

"I'm not leaving, but I'm not fighting either. I'm staying to help the wounded if anyone does get injured." Nyx replied.

 

"Fine then, follow me. Let me do the talking to Ribose, however. Depending on her mood, she might want to harm someone, and quite frankly, I'd rather that be me, as her more powerful attacks won't damage me, as I'm part Dark-type. Plus, I know what not to say." William warned.

 

Nyx nodded in reply, and followed William back to the camp.

When William and Nyx returned to the camp, William approached Ribose and said "Madame. I'm here to warn you of another impending attack. I was meditating in the woods when I felt a thumping in the ground from my roots. I fear Viral's heavy corps will be on their way to attack some time soon. And as a side note, while I was in the woods, I met this Gardevoir women, Nyx who is neutral and wishes to aid anyone who is injured in the fight that is likely to come. And if you have any doubts as to whether she's a spy, I can guarantee she is not, as if she was, she would have likely assassinated me while I was still rooted to the ground in the woods."

 

Nyx nodded after William had finished, not saying a word, following William's instructions.

Kenji: Reappearing above Ribose, he watches the conversation unfold. "If he is sending out his Registeel again, I think we will need Noda. He has a grudge to settle plus he is faster and a fire type. He would be invaluable at this point. I will also be helping you, obviously. What should we do?"

"I'm over here in the trees, I'm surprised you even looked in my general direction, no one has gotten that close to seeing me in the dark before, especially when I go semi-translucent." He whispered back. "The explosion was caused in Viral's camp behind his tent, I think maybe a neutral set it off I'm not sure, but I guess he left the Charizard to rot. Kind of dumb that legendary would be super useful and they seem like good friends. I'd watch out for that doctor though, he asked if the Charizard was a "specimen," he seems like he likes doing "experiments" on other gijinkas."

"Viral is sending in the heavy troops? This is most...disturbing. Viral isn't like this. He's too smart to overcompensate like this" Ribose grumbled, tapping her chin. Was Viral blinded by rage? Impossible! Right? She rolled her eyes at Kenji's comment

 

"Really? Tell me how his fragile bones will deal with a single slap from one of the physically strongest gjinka to ever live?" Ribose dismissed. "Besides, there are plenty of rock types there as well"

"The fact that he's sending his heavy corps must mean that he believes he's crippled us thoroughly with the avalanche." William noted. "As for how we fight back, we'll probably have to rally as many troops as possible to take them down, as the heavy corps is nothing to scoff at. Luckily, we were able to minimize the damage he did, mostly resulting in structural damage with few injuries and even less deaths. It'll take time, but we should be able to rally enough people to fight them off."

"Viral no doubt has a second plan. You must know this" Ribose said, her voice almost pleading. If Viral could see her, he'd be laughing. Her eyes narrowed and she fired a blast of flame at Viral. Her flames merely hit empty air, making her blink. Viral wasn't there. It was just a vision. Shakily, covered in sweat from fear, Ribose began to walk away.

 

"I....I want...I request, William's presence, alone" Ribose managed to choke out

"Indeed Madame." William replied, turning to Nyx he nodded and she understood. "Nyx, why don't you try to find our medics and help out with them." He requested. She nodded in reply and left to find the field hospital.

 

"Madame, how can I help you, you seem troubled. Viral may have a slight advantage at the moment, but that can be easily changed." William said, contemplating placing a hand on her shoulder, ultimately deciding against it as he would prefer to keep his hand attached.

"He is doing this to further some sort of grander scheme, I am sure of it. I think his plan is to drive me mad. But he's failed!" Ribose shrieked, swinging her hand through the air and leaving a savage cut along along the ground from her X-Scissor. "See?! I am perfectly in control! He will not make me crazy!"

William suggested, braced for an impending attack. "No offense intended, but considering the fact that you're attacking something that's not obviously visible to anyone else, you may be a bit... distraught. There's a reason why everyone's best work is done while they are focused. I'm sorry to say it, but you may need some assistance, and I'm willing to help in whatever ways I can."

Kachina folded her arms. "You're sure about that? She's turned out to be pretty slippery. If you need me to, I can help keep an extra eye on her." She said, looking at Ai, then back to Kachina. "I need to get something to eat anyway, so I'll come with you to the mess hall if you don't mind."

William stood there stunned, as Ribose accused him of wanting to usurp her position. When she had finally told him to leave, he turned but stopped at the door. Before opening the door to leave, he simply said "No soy un traidor." Having said that, he left the room, growing a blossom in his palm before leaving it on the floor behind him.

"I am sure she won't escape." Kirara replied to Kachina. "From what I heard, she had some help escaping from you and Nox. And if you want to keep an eye on her as well, I don't see why you couldn't." She added and started to walk again towards the mess hall, Ai in tow.

Kachina couldn't help but chuckle a bit at Ai's reaction to Blake. "Look, you know he's blind, right? That's the only way he'll be able to tell what you look like." She said. "But yeah, I'm famished, let's get something to eat." Kachina said as she closely followed Kirara.

Blake smiled and shook his head at her. "Listen to what Kachina said. It's true. I am blind." Blake said shruging his shoulders and began to follow them when they moved on to the mess hall. "When you bit the vine though, it told me that you are an Umbreon gijinka. A Dark-type. No idea how Kirara's holding you with Psychic though." Blake told her simply. "What's your name?"

Damien slowly crept crept out from the darkness and didn't become opaque again until he was next to Trixie. Still crouched he walked beside her as they made their way back to camp. "This Trixie doesn't seem so bad, however, she was a little bit weird about the name and me coming along with her" Damien thought to himself.

I think he is more powerful than you assume." As he finishes speaking, he disappears. Going back towards the doctor, he makes himself visible. "Hey, doc, you finished yet? They appear try o be bringing the fight to us. Let's go already"

Ai was disappointed when Kirara said her name. "'Rara, why did you go and tell them my name? Is this for all the times I locked you out of the house?" She whined.

After splitting off from William, Nyx asked around for directions for the field hospital, and eventually found her way to Vincent's temporary office. "Hello? Doctor? Let me introduce myself, my name is Nyx. I met an officer in the woods who said that there's about to be an attack by the heavy corps, and I'm here to help. I have some medical training, but I'm not with either side, I just want to help anyone I can."

After leaving Ribose's temporary room, William went searching for Trixie and Damien. He found them and approached them, saying "So, Ribose seems quite... distraught... at the moment. Not only the avalanche, but there's likely to be an attack by the Heavy Corps some time soon as well. She's not taking it too well. We need to get enough troops moving to take them down or at least push them back, as they're only a small squadron, but they're all very physically strong. We'll need our hard-hitters as well as our special fighters to ready up and be ready for anything, because it'll be like a stampede in here."

"Rara?" Blake echoed and tried to hold his laughter. "That's kind of cute." Blake sai and snorted at Kirara's nickname.

"Ribose sounds unhinged. Makes sense. When I spoke to her earlier about the legedary, she didn't look so hot. I'll get on mobilising the troops." Trixie said and hurriedly walked away to do just that.

Kirara levitated a small rock up into the air and threw it at Blake. "That is not my name." She said in her normal calm tone. "And neither is she my sister. I have no family." She continued as they now came up to the mess hall.

After hearing Kirara say that statement again, she was now believing that Kirara truely meant it. "But... I am your sister." She said very softly, almost non audible, and looked down sadly.

Blake felt the vibrations in the air as the rock came hurtling towards him. He stepped to the side and felt it sail past his ear. He winced at the near collision and continued talking as if nothing had happened. "I know it's not your name. Can't I joke? Anyway, Ai was it? Ai, why do you keep saying Kirara's your sister?"
