Help with name?

Alrighty tighty. Basically, I sketched up a surfer pony OC, and I'm not even sure if I'm going to make him an actual, roleplay OC, but either way I want to have a name to the face. 
 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm normally fairly alright at names, but for some odd reason I can't find anything that really clicks. I'm sort of hovering on the idea of Riptide right now, but... I don't know, it's kind of iffy.

 

So what about it? Yay or nay? And if nay, suggestions?
