I'll be posting with both character soon, assuming that what I have written on them is accepted. If you have any questions about my ideas, or want to suggest a few changes please let me know.

When it comes to gear it's fairly simple for me:

Merdyn:

Primary: None (a tome of spells)

Secondary: Concussive blaster (handgun with no ammo, he uses his magic to fire it)

Melee: 4 Infusable daggers (he can throw them, but not very proficiently)

Grenades: 2 flashes and 2 smokes

Stinger:

Primary: Custom sniper rifle

Seconary: P2000 handgun

Melee: None (if anything gets up close to him he'll be a goner anyway)

Grenades: 4 frags (bombs away!)

I hope this is ok. Please tell me if anything has to be changed :c

How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Three percent of the population likes classical music, if only we could get it up to four percent we'd be back in business and all our problems would be over." How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Everybody loves classical music! They just haven't found out about it yet!" It's an entirely different world. It's what you make of it that counts.

I found an easy way to find out if you've inspired someone. If their eyes are shining, you know you're doing it!

@@Scribblegroove,

Yes, your characters have been accepted, though the sniper did need to be toned down and I'm still a little wary of the Magus spell thingy, though I trust that you won't make it OP. That said, Merdyn seems to be carrying 3 specials. At the moment, you may have one of them and I'll keep the other two in mind for later in the RP, since you're just starting out at the moment.

Well I didn't really see the tome of spells as a piece of equipment, but I can put the daggers away if you want. I did think the concussive blaster was a thing you implemented yourself? That there are weapons powered by internal magical energy? Or did I understand that wrongly.

And you're going to have to tell me what to change exactly. I'm not sure what you're ok with and what not.

@@Scribblegroove,

Those are Concussive Burst weapons. They do have a form of ammo, since they do need to recharge after a certain number of shots. The difference is one is a piece of lead punching through the skin and the other looks like a laser but feels like being hit by something. Really hard. The firearms use the innate magic of the body to power the firing mechanism. Sort of like being powered by electricity rather than gas and gunpowder. Seems I didn't explain it well enough, so I shall rectify that shortly.

As for the tome, I think it would be in the 'other' category if it's not being counted as a special weapon.

And the daggers, you could probably have some throwing knives and get the infusable version later on after completing enough missions.

Fair enough, even though that leaves me with no 'special' weapons I'll keep it that way since the tome might be considered special anyway.

I have a feeling that I'm being quite demanding. I want to apologise for that. If there is anything that you feel uncomfortable with and that you'd like me to change don't hesitate to let me know.

No, you're not being demanding. It's more like I'm not explaining things well enough, I think.

But anyways, even if you don't get a special weapon now, you can still acquire one later.

And what type of pistol were you using? Semi-auto single, semi-auto burst, machine pistol, or revolver?

Making a slight change to my character Verdant Veil. He is bald, and he has a Russian accent because it's fucking awesome.

I forgot my grenades. Can he use c4 in place of them? For breaching rather than actually blowing someone up mainly. Other wise, semtex.

So, people have mistaken me for a nice guy. I'm not. Don't like it? Tough. Your loss.

@@IridscentNionios,

Excellent.

To everyone else, I'll go gather up the weapon lists that have been posted and stick them on the front page and might make a post for Faith. That way the intro is already done when the squad forms up.

Speaking of Faith, I haven't posted her weapons yet.

Primary: Marksman Rifle using material ammunition.

Secondary: Semi-auto, single fire. Concussive bursts.

Melee: Survival Knife.

Grenades: 2 Concussion Grenades

If you want to. How your weapons look is up to you guys, as is whether you want to find a picture or simply describe what it looks like when you receive it. Either way works.

@@Commander Tangent,

Could I get you to list your character's equipment please? I'm going to put everyone's current loadouts on the front page, you see.

@@IridscentNionios,

Um, Nio, Terra wouldn't have his weapons yet and there aren't any beds close enough to the speech for him to jump out of.

@@IridscentNionios,

Sure, but if Terra currently stays in the barracks at HQ (It's the closest thing to a military force that the Citadel has, so they'd have barracks) then he'd be called before the speech. And you still wouldn't have your weapons at the time.

My understanding of how the military works might be off, though, but I'm fairly certain that they don't let you carry weapons on a base without authorization and they don't let you skip announcements and such without a good reason. I think it gets put on record, too.

@@IridscentNionios,

The alarm clock is fine, but the weapons are not.

This goes for everyone unless you have a reason to carry weapons with you (see Cinderscribe's recent RP post for an example. Atheia argued like crazy for her War Talon). Your weapons will be given to you at Bay 17, where you'll also receive your mission and a transport to take you down to the surface. You don't get to take your weapons home with you. There's a reason for that, you see. Citadel Security take their jobs quite seriously and walking around on the Citadel while armed is a stupid idea.

Can I switch my secondary out for a repair kit? Scrap metal, tools, things like that.

Also I have stuff to do during the day so I can't post til later.

I'm suggesting that Atheia is the one who trumped all the sharpshooters in a drinking competition last night. It's up to you to confirm that or not. Maybe Atheia recognises him from last night, because he sure doesn't recognise her. :3

Just thought it would be a funny situation :)
